it was time to go charging in, at least thats what Jing got from the voice ringing in his head, much like everyone else from what he guessed.

"Looks like its time for the madness to begin." he grinned maliciously. "I cant wait."

The mask was back in place as he gave Ying one more hug before he strode off to find some action in the tower.

Jerry's dopey grin didn't leave, his palms getting sweaty the more her slender fingers stroked and clung. "W-well, I'm... I'm no good at... at talking," He managed, "When I'm ah... called in, negotiation is usually not part of the game plan any more." He adjusted his glasses, "Just give me a moment before we ah... head out, I should ah... probably get a good kit together just in case." He motioned to the janitor cart parked just on the far wall beyond the slot machines of the area.

Not that he wanted to cut their intimate little moment short at all. In his head, showing off a little might up his chances with the lovely new recruit. He had to make a good example, right? "But.... anything you need to know about... about how it works here I'm more than happy to answer any questions!"

Roar was certainly glad he could sober his partner up for this.

Watching the conversion of the other - former? - Silver female was both awe inspiring and rather frightening. The tattoos she had seen before, but watching her form shift and change was ... well, Olivia wasn't sure. Her eyes went as wide as they could, without prompting a little pain, and she could feel herself shrink back. Did she want this? She didn't know. Not right now, she wasn't sure if she was so ready for the change. It was so sudden.

But the opportunity passed her by without her having to make a decision anyways and the Blue King sent his champions out to their tasks. Olivia watched with reservation as they dispersed to their locations with vigor, leaving only a few of them left. Including herself.

"Thank you, again," she told the Confusing Doctor Man before pulling away from his little work station. The small girl took in a deep breath and took a step towards the Blue King, "Sir," That seemed like an appropriate means to address him, "Going to the Silver Kingdom... would be hard ... but I'll go gather miasma for your Kingdom with the flower." Olivia explained in a soft tone, cautiously and with a little bit of worry.

"I- uh... will be going." She added on, with a stiff bow. And then departed as well as she could with bandaged knees.

"How did I NOT get a knife in here?" Riyo quickly retorted, stopping just before her pinkie to look at where the voice came from, then back to G who seemed... A little pale?

It looked like she was about to say something, but a voice halted everything. Her jaw dropped and her eyes widened, then she looked at her glass of orange juice and frowned.

"I think... It's... It's about time to sober up..."

Sober up a little. Then tower. Yes.

Until then.

"NOW JOHN AT THE BAR IS A FRIEND OF MINE!" she lifted up her orange juice. "He gets me my drinks for free! And he's quick with a joke or to light up your smoke, but there's someplace that he'd rather be!"

Harrison's phone lit up.

He flipped it open, reading through the message.

Audience with the Voice. Now?

"The Voice wants me," Harrison muttered, looking at Jordan. Rep had already left. He locked up the suitcase full of blue bottles, looking weighted. "Me and B0nez gotta answer him."

Everything was coming to a head.

Harrison hesitated, then brushed Jordan's hair back, where the tattoo had been cut in. He leaned in for a brusque, business-like kiss, and hovered uncertainly after.

"I'll use what resources I got to protect you, for as long as I can. ...I love you."

"I can appreciate a man'a action." Cee licked her lips and smiled. "You gaw'head and grab what you need. I wanted to check something out real quick anyway.." Her outfit had 'materialized' with a small handbag and she leaned back against the bar and sifted through it. Where was that card she'd found?

A woman a few feet away resumed her drunken and singing and Cee found she recognized the words. Must be part of taking on the aspects of the Kingdom, huh? She started to hum along while she searched, eyes drifting up and around the room from Jerry and his cart to the King who was moving. The drunken woman hadn't risen to collect miasma but.. perhaps that was best by the look of her.

After moments of searching fruitlessly, Cee let out a gasp of pleased discovery. Her hand plunged down the front of her dress, wrist swallowed by her ample bosom, and she fished around. Yes, she knew anyone looking would be completely focused on it. After a moment she pulled out the card and looked it over. Should she give it to the king? Would it matter to the kingdom or was it just some nonsense?

Jordan brushed a brief kiss across Harrison's lips. "If the Voice says you gotta go, you gotta go," he said softly. "We'll do our part. Come back safe. ... I love you too."

He stepped back, letting his professional mask fall back into place and turning to scan the room, deliberately not letting himself stare after Harrison. They needed Miasma; they needed to play it smart and come out on top. They needed to know what had happened at the Silver kingdom. His lips pressed into a thin line. Send someone else and hope they brought back accurate information with nothing missing, or risk himself in the early stages of the game?

No. If there was any information left in the tower, they needed it. The Kingdom was still powerful enough to protect its people, and he needed to see to it that it stayed that way. He would go himself.

"Ferros," he said, and headed for the exit. Ferros fell in behind him, quiet and attentive.

Kasi grabbed Matt’s hand wrapping her fingers tightly in his, so it was all going to start. She could feel her heart starting to beat loudly in her chest from the excitement. However Matt held the same expression on his face as if nothing was really going to change in his world.

“We should get going.” He replied pulling her towards the door as she was watching everyone else grabbing their equipment. There was no point in grabbing too much, hauling would just slow them when all they needed was a few blades to make things all pretty.

FROM ZOO:

OOC

Also regarding retconning and you: since a fair number of people did the event prior to my rules, everyone can opt out of the Silver Tower without reaching the end or needing to trigger the 3 events.

I also want to take time to mention a few hidden mechanics:

- Newbies get bonus points for just trying any dungeon (these will all he announced later)
- Kingdoms get bonus points for spreading out in different dungeons
- Kingdoms get bonus points for hitting secret achievements, such as dying horribly in ___ areas.

That being said good luck and have fun in the events! The only reason the silver tower has more visible points is because I wanted to trigger a special action for that place which required a higher VISIBLE incentive

In light of this: The Minefield is also open for going to. 8| If you are feeling death-ish and explodey. Some of us are. I won't judge you.

GO FORTH and roll.

When you end up back here you can continue to mingle/discuss the downfall of the Silver Kingdom.

And wait for the first miasma tally results.

HAVE FUN OK <3

Taima didn't seem at all surprised as the Voice made its demands known. She knocked back the rest of her drink as their King gave them their marching orders, rolling her shoulders as if to work the kinks out before heading out.

Time for the fun to begin.

Nuk was visibly startled as the Voice echoed a little throughout the room, nearly dropping the glass he had been bringing to his lips. The news was undeniably unsettling -- he didn't give two shits about the fallen kingdom, but the announcement that another kingdom would fall, should they prove ... unsatisfactory, made his skin feel tight, his breathing labored as he tried to settle himself. So his sister's safety wasn't guaranteed after all. In fact, if they didn't win this game, there wouldn't be safety for any of them.

The stakes had been raised exponentially. And Nuk was listening now. He was all ears.

The moment Harrison had given the orders, the shapeshifter was on his feet, pushing almost a little violently through the crowds of people, his eyes focused and oddly determined. A number of the other tributes had disappeared, vanished into portals already, but Nuk was looking for someone in particular. Reaching out to snag Sammy's arm, he hauled her less-than-gently towards a place where the population had thinned, already summoning a portal for them.

"Move it, Cannibal. Time to nut up or shut up," he growled. As an afterthought, he glanced back at the remaining Silvers, conflicted for a moment before he rolled his eyes, jerking his head towards the portal, "********. I guess you guys can come too."

When Riyo finally finished her drunk song, she stumbled out of her bar seat and into the bathroom, where it took her significantly longer than usual to change into her hitman garb.

Yeah, hitman garb. It was different from her usual savvy street clothes. People saw her in street clothes. When she knew people were going to see her, she wore a suit. When she was going to kill someone? Well, they were going to be dead anyways so generally it was more for her own pleasure than that of a possible... 'customer'. Being a woman in a suit was conspicuous. If you were following someone in a suit, especially down dark alleys and s**t, it was pretty much like saying 'oh how would you like your death today? Scrambled or sunny side up?'

So she wore this.

Don't judge.

Sammy listened almost indifferent to the voice, this was a place where becoming a corpse was as easy as crossing the street at the wrong time when someone decided to run a light, pop a shot at someone beside you. Death was inevitable and somehow she was almost okay with it.

It'd be a chance to sleep at least considering she didn't.

Even as the voice finished Nuk was reaching out grabbing her arm tugging her along. "You don't have to be so rough lover boy. I'll tag along no need to be rude." As they neared the portal she drew out one of her twin guns. The left one was made of what looked like polished white bone, the gun was kept ever so pristine the name engraved on the side Ixxy. She pulled the slide back checking the round inside before letting it slam back into place hammer pulled.

"In the name of the king~" She said almost cheerfully as she stepped through the portal, gun in hand.

It was time.

It seemed that the situation was escalating rather quickly. A visit from The Voice? She had never had one of those. While there were great risks involved, it was rather ... pleasant to know that she was important enough for The Voice to pull her attention and speak to her on a personal level, no matter what his (or her--she didn't judge!) true reasons for doing as such were. Why was this happening? She loved her people, but to have to end this all sounded ... silly.

Weren't things going alright?

Serafina shook the thoughts from her head, zoning in on the fact that the other kingdom had indeed already been destroyed. Perhaps it was beyond time. Time had already started ticking, and the Silver Kingdom was the first to fall. She had to wonder how many of them had made it out alive ... and, perhaps, more importantly, how many of them they could recruit to their own cause. They had already managed to convince one of the Silvers to join them, that woman who turned into two once she became part of The Family, but how many others would find a family appealing?

They had security. They had protection. They had each other. And Serafina knew for certain that for someone who had just lost their family, such an existence would likely be very appealing. Serafina knew that. People who were lost and hurting needed something like a family to take them in, and they were in the most perfect position to do so.

Perhaps what she should do is see if she could find any Silver Kingdom refugees and convince them to come back to The Family, to join them and to bolster their own members. The Boss certainly seemed willing to add more people on if they were just willing to see the neon sign in front of them. It would give her a nice side mission to take care of while she was off doing the given assignment she was just directed to.

Maybe if she could come back with a recruit ... or a lot of miasma, really, she could get some bonus points with The Boss. A benefit to her was certainly a bonus ... beyond the very pressing need to not fall like the Silver Kingdom had. That was really the last thing she wanted to get herself mixed up in.

For the Family.

Serafina closed her eyes, cracked her knuckles, and got ready to figure out her way through this.

[Entering from the Tower]

As Gargantuan stepped through the portal, he had to keep his eyes closed while he pressed the back of one dirty hand to his mouth to suppress a wave of nausea. He hated portals. Not his preferred method of travel.

He could feel the Miasma slipping from his pocket, undoubtedly being absorbed into the shield to better strengthen their kingdom. It was a small amount, but any amount was better than none, right? It sure didn't feel like it right now. Witha heavy sigh, G gave a half-hearted swipe at his clothing, trying to get rid of the dust and debris that already stained it.

He needed a drink. Plopping himself roughly down at the bar, he waved the bartender over. "How'd it go?" The man wanted to know, and G chuckled bitterly before he gulped down the shot.

"Let's just say I got some slimmin' down to do."
