He who dares__________________________

Eric could easily eat the fish raw since he'd been forced to eat some pretty nasty stuff for food in the arenas, but realized the others would probably give him crap for it, so he sat down in front of the fire, taking a spit and putting several of the fish on it, attaching it to the prongs on either end of the fire that would hold it up. He sat down by the fire as he listened to the others, wondering why Dara wanted him to spend alone time with Marai.

In several minutes the fish was smoked and ready to eat. Eric pulled out the spit and began cutting out sections of the fish that were edible. He ate a piece, enjoying the fact that he could considering the fact that the last thing he ate was poison.

Listening to the crackle of the wood as it burnt with ease in the fire. It was calm and warm, though the smell wasn't really helpful. He watches as the rest enjoys their fish, while he waited for his and spaces out blankly. He returned to reality when he smelt something delicious over his nose. Looking up it was Aislin with a bunch of fish on a sticks. "Thanks, here take one more. You'll need to eat if you want to get any stronger." Handing one of the cooked fishes back to Aislin and chomps down the rest of his share. Taking out the bones of course and eats the remaining meat. Kyo took all of the bones from the rest of the group and smashes all of them into pieces with a hammer. Using the crushed pieces that was edible he puts them into a pot and cooks them into a veggie/fishbone curry and a few of the remaining beef he packed. Nothing really isn't edible when your in wilderness.

As everyone sat around and ate the fish that Aislin, Mirai, and Kyo had caught, Atticus would not stay around to eat with them. He had wondered off towards the small lake that was near them and just sat there, enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature. The creatures rustling in the trees and shrubs, the birds chirping, and the sound of flowing water. Atticus had enjoyed the quiet and would soon doze off.

Dara smiled at nodded at Aislin and Shira. "Hopefully one day I'll be as good as her. Right now my expertise is sweets. Which reminds me when we get back we have to make cupcakes again." Dara grabbed a piece of fish and started eating.

Eric had finished his fish quickly, used to eating fast. He lay back on the ground and looked up at the stars, using one of the nearby logs for a headrest. The stars were one thing that stayed the same no matter where you were. Well, except in Charlotte's realm. Those stars had been red or so he had recalled. Harold had been rearing to fight her again since they'd gotten stronger and if she hadn't been pregnant during the battle at Death City it might have come to that. He thought about how Harold hadn't been out for a while, something Harold had constantly reminded him of for the past several days.

He gave a half-grin, wondering how Marai would do against Harold in a match. Harold was more aggressive and violent than he was and although he could certainly use strategy, most of the time he simply chose not too. And he had the same disadvantage in that Marai knew his moves. She might win simply because of that. That would be funny. On the other hand Harold was obscenely strong when he really wanted someone dead, so who knew.
