Shortstraw nodded, "your whole familiy doesn't i noticed. Most people out there will do anything for money, it's so weird that your familiy are the only ones that are willing to just hand it away becuse you have a unlimited amout. Theres this story i read before i met you, that said how yuji got the familiy money int he first place. It was kinda cool, but i cant really resight it all." He laughed and took her hand as they were soon headed out the front door, "But yesh. I would like some money for things, but i feel bad for taking it... that whole living off the street thing... now that i see the other side of it, i just can't seem to want alot to spend, nor do i want to use you as funds, thats wrong. To me it's wrong." He smiled, "But i will be able to patch up my gear and stuff with the card when needed so that will vary helpful." He chukkled as a reseront came in sight, it was fancy, but not too fancy.

She sighed. "Sometimes I wondered what it was like to live on the streets. When I was travelling around I guess it felt a lot like that. I mistakenly didn't bring any money with me, but it didn't matter because I had hunting skills." She frowned. "People on the streets don't have that, though." She rubbed her eye. "I want to do more things for the town, but I'm not very... good at coming up with things. The pancake thing was Hikari's idea and so far all I've been doing is just being friendly to everyone. It's not really enough."

*Shortstraw nodded* "You have to lead. According to Eve anyways, you have to show not only ou care, but you will protect them." he nodded as he opened the door for her, "Ladys first." The person greeted them, "how many in our party princess?" Shortstraw answered, "Just us two." The man nodded, "Would you like us to reserve a table?" Shortstraw shook his head, "nah a regular one in the lobby please." And with that they had a table shortstraw picked out that was int he same room as all the other people of the town eating. He knew it would bring alittle bit of enlightenment tot he people, and he knew it ma make her feel alittle out of place. But she needed to be around the people to uderstand them, "I never eatten here before, it's... new to me." He chukkled and looked to his menu, "they have alot of pasta, half the menu it seems."

She buried her head into the menu as she looked. "I think I've been here once before, when I was very small. I remember it vaguely..." She lowered the menu and put it down as she put her head on her hands. "The owner is the main chef. Happy chubby guy. For some reason I remember him." She searched her memories, but shook her head as she looked back to the menu. "Well it's lucky I like pasta." She chuckled.

*Shortstraw chukkled, "The meatball subs look good. I wanna try that." He nodded and smiled. meanwhile a new man walked up and held out a pad of paper, "are you ready to order?" Shortstraw nodded, "The number 4, ummm sweet tea please." He nodded, "and you princess?"

Kiera dragged her finger down the menu and finally pointed to something. "Tagliatelle, please." She smiled up to the man. "And can I have some Ginger beer?" She looked back to the menu. "The non-alcoholic kind, though." An idea popped into her mind, and she looked back to the man. "And could you please not tell the chef that I'm here? I just have a little hunch." She smiled again.

*The man wrote it down, "Of course madem... but i think he may already know your here, he sent me to take your order." He smiled, "i wont say a word though." He nodded, "i'll be back with your order momentarly." With that the man left and shortstraw razed a brow, "what is i that. Sucha weird named food." he chukkled, "and why wouldn't you want him to know your here?"

Kiera shrugged and twiddled her thumbs. "No special treatment." She yawned a little then looked to him. "Tagliatelle isn't anything special. Just a fancy name for a boring pasta. Some places can do it well, some really can't." She grinned. "I wanted to give the chef a challenge. But if he knows I'm here, then it won't work at all."

*Shortstraw chukkled, "Well we will have to see then wont we." He nodded, "oh yea, do you know any other langagues, i never asked that before. Becuse i remember when i was away i was in this town in gemeny and i couldn't understand a ting they were saying." He laughed, "i was making up words and stuff, and i was thinking that perhaps it would be easyer if you were with me, maybe when i asked for directions they wouldn't hand me a rollof tolet paper and close there doors in my face." He chukkled, "i was so confussed. German, not easy to understand out of no where. But i also ask becus ei have an idea for the brotherhood, using a langage system or code when certain things are going on. Mainly stuff that we need to make sure enemys cant decode, or easily over hear. A safty thing. But i don't know any other langages."

Kiera looked to the table and thought. "Well. I know a lot of French, Spanish and Italian. But not German. It's way to hard to understand for me. Not to mention I don't think it's a very pretty language like French and Italian." She smiled as she thought. "A little Japanese, some Dutch, some Portugese and just a little bit of Latin." She chuckled and looked to him, before pulling a face. "Je peux parler beaucoup de langues, je suppose. Cependant pas couramment~ Que le français et l'espagnol."

*He stared at her a moment, "Okay well in that case you need to teach me at least one of those." He laughed, "i thought maybe one langauge, not that many! That is alsome! And, what did you just say?" He asked.

She smiled and tilted her head. "It was French. And I said I speak a lot of languages, I suppose. However not fluently. Only French and Spanish." She laughed again. "And I'm not a very good teacher, you know that yourself from when I trained you. It's even harder to teach another language. But I can try." She looked to the table again. "Es mucho más fácil de experimentar de primera mano idiomas." She shook her head. "Watashi wa itsumo Supeingo iya tte kita. Mada yaru. Shikashi, watashi wa sore o shitte iru." Now she was just showing off to confuse him, using lots of different languages.

*He made a face as the man came back and sat two plates down, "here you go." he then sat down the drinks, "if you need anything let me know." He smiled and left the two to eat. Meanwhile shortstaw picked up his fork, "okay stop showing off. Or i will throw a meatball at you." He laughed and looked to his large meatball sub, it covered the whole plate.*

Kiera chuckled. "Fine, fine. Wouldn't want meatball in my face. Might cause a stir in the restaurant." She looked down to her meal, and remembered some things. "I must've had the same thing when I came here last time." She wrapped some pasta round the fork and emptied it into her mouth. "It's exactly the same." She looked across the room at other peoples meals, especially to a woman who had the same meal as her, then looked back to her own, and smiled. "Didn't give me any special treatment, either."

*Shortstraw smiled, "Nope. A nice normalish resteront date thingy." he chukkled happily, "this is really good..." he however only ate about half of it as he sat back and grin, "i can't eat anymore i'm full." He chukkled, "it's so good though.*
