Satisfied when the hunter she had initially attacked fell to the ground, Shaheen whirled away to find herself another victim.

Ohhhh, hold on a second here. That one looked awfully familiar. Golden eyes narrowed, the war chieftain stalked after the hunter who was carrying one of his fallen comrades, dangerously close to the exit.

When she felt like the distance between them had dwindled enough, she threw her blade, watching with satisfaction as it sunk into her target before summoning it back to her hand. "Hello again!" She offered with a cocky smirk. "We have unfinished business, hunter." She spat out the last word like it was some kind of insult.

Everything came to the moon hunter slowly; as if he were trapped in a confusing tunnel of light and sound. Wash ran, unsure of who was friend or foe, or where his fellow captives had ended up - afraid. Uncertain.

And then he was in the colosseum again. The dirt was just dirt now, so plain and innocuous. He stopped, wasting precious time, to stare at the empty stadium. He imagined it as it once was, filled with jeering faces calling for their deaths.

He'd seen Otto fly by and the clenching in Bix's chest alleviated as he saw Deryk come past with Ceres, but his stomach dropped slightly to see her unconscious.

"Get her to safety man.. Thanks." Deryk got a passing pat on the back as the archer continued to stay and hold the line.

Bix was confident of their small defense but the horsemen seemed to be more of the scavenging type and hadn't yet dare assault the portal. Bix gave Gale a a thumbs up and a wink from across the way.

A giant scythe was produced and the creature swung at him, and he jumped back as a sharp pain sliced his side. This place SUCKED! He wanted out now, and not caring, he just ran for it.

That was until he saw another creature over the body of a fallen hunter, and knowing he couldn't just turn the corner and run, he swore over and over and over under his breath and ran over. "Oh, I hope you appreciate this." He whined, scooping the young woman up and running like hell past the creature beside him and down the dark hallways.

It wasn't long before he saw the glowing portal that they had all gone through, and while he wasn't sure if he was going to go back to that centipede desert, he knew he wouldn't stand a chance here.

With Syd in his arms, he went through the portal

In spite of everything, no matter the situation they were in or those around, as soon as Ofelia heard Gale address her by her nickname rather than her real name she felt her cheeks color and she looked away, still so much a little girl on the inside. Being called by her nickname wasn't anything special, even people who were always pissed off at her used her nickname (here's looking at you Rep) but just in this situation, with Gale trying to reassure her, it felt funny.

And nice. "Ah. . . okay. Ah'll. . . .yeah. Ah'll wait, then we'll go. Even if Ah gotta carry 'em all on mah back, we're goin' like ya say."

And then when he flipped the creature off she had to cackle, this whole situation and seeing Gale act like someone other than the timid and terrified person he'd seem to become was so refreshing. So refreshing in fact that she joined in, giving a double salute.

It was the only thing she could do to take her mind off the fact everyone was still getting picked off like flies.

Harrison drew up his hands. B0nez had gotten desummoned, somewhere along the way when his shield had been eaten away, and the lava...

His hands were fine. His eyes were fine. He wasn't on fire.

But he could still feel it, B0nez was barely holding it together, the waves and waves of pain-

"You...put it out...?" He asked, brain struggling for an explanation.

"Another illusion." he grunted gruffly.

He had had it with all of them. Pushed to the point of near snapping. He'd seen s**t he didn't want to see, they hadn't found Jordan, they'd been defeated to the point of retreat and most of the ******** people really getting up in his s**t were women. So many of these damn horsemen were actually horsewomen, too many. He was going home.

Suddenly the sense of direction didn't seem to matter as he stopped thinking and started just flat out running, following nothing other than pure instinct, he wasn't looking for landmarks, he wasn't trying to follow other people, he ran in a random direction and hoped for the ******** best.

Somehow it worked out better than expected.

He passed Rin standing on the way to the exit. Good.

"Back to the ******** kitchen!" he snarled.

It probably meant go home.

And then a pair of horsemen attacked him. One of them was familiar. Another familiar sort of familiar. He stared at the two from behind his mask before reluctantly placing Candace to the ground.

"You consider it unfinished, I don't."

Knowing Bix was all right at least relieved some of the horrible feeling of anxiety that was currently twisting inside of Gale's stomach, and his eyes flickered briefly over to the albino, giving him a very small, barely-there smile.

"We'll be okay," he said again to Ofelia, but he wasn't looking at her, instead focusing on the figure of a small hunter lying a short distance away. His feet carried him over to her without thinking, dropping to his knees beside her and touching her shoulder.

"Saya. Saya."

She wasn't moving. Gale forced himself to relax, his thoughts in overdrive as he jerked his head from side to side, looking for someone, anyone -

"Kat - Kat come here, help me get her out of here - "
