(sorry for the long wait ^^ wink Araima woke up late to the smell of cooking food and a growling belly. She started at the ceiling for a moment, a little unwilling to get up, but her hungry wouldn't be ignored. It took her a moment to push herself up and out of the bed. Her efforts were rewarded by an impatient kick at her side. She smiled a little rubbing her swollen belly gently. "I know you're hungry. Just be patient." she murmur. After taking care of her needs she made her way to the kitchen. Gale was already in there with breakfast. "Good morning. What smells so good?"

(Not at all! Just wanted to know if this was over.)
Gale momentarily stopped what he was doing and turned to Araima. She really didn't have that much of a morning face, did she? He waved his spatula to her as she got closer and returned to his cooking. "Morning beautiful, you're looking lovely this morning."
With the spatula in hand, he pointed out the dishes he was preparing. "I have hashbrowns, buttermilk biscuits and gravy, some french toast and some oatmeal with a hint of cinnamon." He explained to Araima with a smiled. "All of it is completely done with my ingredients only, so I hope you like it"

(If you're still up to.) Araima smiled as she sat down. "Thanks you. You don't look so bad yourself." she teased back.
Tentatively she tried everything. She tried to be critical and take her time, but the food was too good and she too hungry to eat at a slow pace.
"It's amazing." she managed between bites. She enjoyed the French toast the most savoring it's sweetness. It seemed almost a desert rather than a breakfast, but she loved it.

(Most definitely am, just forgive me for taking longer than I usually would. A little busy, and I have to look back into this RP a little. I forgotten a lot!)
He smiled and prepared her meal for her, as well as for himself. He sat down next to Araima and ate his meal with her. The look on her face was approval, that was more than enough to appease him. This, along with last nights dinner surely meant that food cultural barriers would not be an issue.
"I'm glad you like it, but careful you don't get a stomach ache, Raima."

She nodded. "I'll slow down." she conceded. She was already halfway through her meal. "Will we go out today?" she asked.
She was curious to see what his town looked like. It seemed a pleasant neighborhood and she'd like to know what people she would be living next to.

"Of course, honey." Gale leaned over and played with one of her pointed elf ears. It was best to get it out of his system now in their home before he accidentally does it outside. "That was the plan today.We're going to have a look around the neighborhood. That bus ride wasn't the best way to have a tour of my world." Letting go of her ear, he finished the last morsels of his plate and rinsed it off.
"We might get more people complimenting you though. Only been here for a day and you're so loved, huh?"

Araima laughed. "I don't know if strangers compliments count as love." She placed her hand against his face and looked at him warmly. "However, with you I feel loved."

Gale couldn't help but smile when she placed one of her loving hands on his face. He held her arm gently, cuddling it some as it had felt just as warm and soft to the touch. "As do I, but this little man, he makes me see just how much you're willing to love me." He replied, clearly she topped him there. Gale drew Araima closer to him, holding her in is arms as lovingly as he possibly could and lastly kissed her.

She snuggled close in his arms, happy in his embrace as she kissed him back. With Gales she never wanted for attention or affection. He showered her with his love and she returned it in every way she could.
When she finally broke their kiss, as reluctant as she was to do so, she rested her hand against his should.
"I suppose I should dress to go...?"

Gale slowly nodded his head. He adored the way she returned his affections for her. "Yes, take as much time as you may need to get ready." He answered quietly. There was no reason for either of them to rush, today would be their own. He led her into the bedroom to get dressed.

Araima walked into the bedroom and to the bag she had brought some clothes in. Some were her own, but a few she was given by Gale's mother. She had to admit, her own clothes stood out a bit from the fashions here.
She pulled out a pair of blue pants made out of that strange thick material. They fit well though, even around her bulging middle. Not bad. She didn't like the tightness of the top though and ended up choosing a more flowing top of her own. She considered herself in the mirror.
"Do you think I look alright. Particularly in these blue pants your mother loaned me?"

"Is, that the elven way of asking if I look fat or does my butt look big in these pants?" He teased the cultureshocked Araima in a half serious manner. Gale wasn't quite sure if either of those could actually be what she was trying to ask him.
"You do look great though, Raima. You'll fit right in with any girl." Answered Gale, slipping on a pair of jeans he began to get dressed himself.

Araima was a bit confused at his first answer. Did he really think she looked fat? For a second she almost took his comment seriously. Until she realized he was teasing. She felt considerably better when he assured her she looked fine.
She waited for him to finish dressing, sitting down on the edge of the bed to get off her feet for a few moments.

Gale quickly finished gathering his clothes. A simple blue t-shirt would do it. The day was warm so there was no need for anything else. He then helped Araima to her feet. "Alright, time to show you my world."
He walked her and himself out the door and locked it behind him. Gale suppose the first place to show her was the nearby school. It was a small red colored school, one story and took in Pre-K -5th Grade.
"This is the school. You have those right? A place where children learn to read and write, and other skills?"
((( It's actually been so long I have totally forgotten where I meant to go with this. )))

Aryana looked at the building with curiosity. It was quite nice, if different from there establishments. She looked to Gale.
"Yes." she answered, amused by the question. "We have places to teach the children. I'll should you when you come to stay with me."
She looked again at the place. "It's strange to see things build, rather than sung from nature."
