Emery gave a sigh of defeat, leaning back into the tree. "You win! Nap time it is! You won't get off that easy next time though." She leaned back against the tree and closed her eyes, attempting to fall asleep. As she did so, thoughts flew through her mind, reminding her of all of the things that worried her. Her sister, her family, her parents...
Emery sighed deeply as she turned up her music, offering an earbud to the boy next to her. "I don't think I can sleep. Want some music?"

Emery leaned back more and turned off her music, letting herself fall into his song. By the time she was done singing it she had fallen sound asleep. Unfortunately for him, she had fallen heavily onto his shoulder, unknown to her as well. At the same time a small ding! went off in her pocket, the typical noise that a text from her sister gave it.

-Random timeskip to whenever nap time is over-
Emery awoke from the nap slightly confused, attempting to take in her surroundings. With a small yawn, she became suddenly aware of a warm presence resting next to her. Emery froze felt her breathing stop as she attempted to assess the situation. With a small sigh of relief, she remembered exactly how she had gotten into her current situation.
Emery pulled out from the boy, unsure of whether she should wake him or not. Her main mission, after all, had been to terrorize the guy.
"So, I fall asleep for a couple minutes and you go full perv, I see." She noted, under the assumption that he had fallen asleep on her and not the other way around.

Emery gazed at the boy, unsure of how to react. On one hand, she really hated being in such close contact with someone that she didn't even know the name of, especially considering she didn't like anyone touching her in the first place.
On the other hand, however, Emery noted how childlike he looked. With his messy hair and his pleading to sleep, Emery felt her maternal instincts kicking in, something she was used to with Lila. With a heavy sigh, she gave in. She began to hum slightly to assist him falling asleep, something she had done often in the past.

As the boy next to her slept, Emery pulled her phone out of her pocket. She smiled at the text, finding it oddly similar to the situation.

Emery sent back a quick text reminding her that everything would be okay and let out a quiet sigh. She knew that she wouldn't be able to sleep anymore, but she tried to stay as still as possible so that the boy next to her could sleep. Curse my damn instincts. She thought to herself as she stayed glued to her spot.

Emery looked at the boy and laughed loudly. His hair seemed to be sticking up at every angle. He had bedhead in every sense of the word. "Your hair..." She choked out between laughter.
After finally settling down she checked her phone, searching for the time. "That was about an hour nap. It's already 5:30." She said, looking towards him. "Did you finally sleep enough?" She questioned, still holding back bedhead induced laughter. She wondered what her hair looked like, since she had been sleeping as well.
