Shiro launched around the corner and could see just barely the tail end of the lantern before it phased into a wall again. She torpedoed down the hall way. The strange spectral blade still in her hand she pointed it in the direction of the lantern and used it as a method to keep tabs on the lantern so she didn't have to go at full break neck and risk crashing into a wall again. Where was this lantern going, and why was it headed there so quickly? She had been seeing this hall for so long now, she had never stopped to consider the fact that others may have been trapped in it as well. However the thought occurred to her now as she rounded another corner. If other students were here in this nightmare, would she be able to recognize them? Or would the hallway distort their image to the point that she would be unable to? She furrowed her brow at that thought hoping such was not the case. If it had been the case there was a good chance that the specter she had launched a scroll at had been a classmate. She shook her head clearing out the thoughts as she crashed through a doorway in pursuit of the floating lantern. Shiro busted through the class room and honestly thought she might see classmates perhaps frozen in some sort of twisted way, however she found the room entirely devoid of life. With the only exception being that lantern. She tipped her head, perhaps that wasn't an exception the lantern wasn't really alive was it? She nodded to herself there really wasn't anything alive in here. As she had that thought one of the many spectral visions suddenly appeared she dropped low and rolled under the thing shivering from head to toe repeating to herself 'that was only a hallucination, like a genjutsu.' Finally at the other side of the class which seemed to take longer than any other classroom she barreled through the door way and turned the direction her sword indicated. "Hey Bou... Did you see that thing back there too?" She questions realizing she hadn't asked Bou about his take on this entire situation. Bou whimpered quietly before letting out a couple of sharp yips. "Huh... really... But you smell the awful stink right... and you hear the creepy crap." she states curiously as she watches for the lantern catching sight of a couple of its glowing orbs. Bou let out another little yip and Shiro nodded slowly "Interesting..." she hums curiously as she skids around yet another corner. "Damnit damnit damnit!" Shiro shouts as she scoots around the corner just to see the lantern phase away into the wall in this apparent dead end hallway. She furrowed her brow and thought about the layout of the school for awhile. This hallway wasn't normally a dead end she was pretty sure. There was a door right about here usually, but seeing as whatever it was caused the door to vanish she would need an alternative way around. She back tracked some until she found a class that she knew had a doorway to another class which itself had a door exiting on the other side of the missing door out onto that hallway. Shiro quickly made her way into the class and nearly immediately crashed into a pile of desks. She quickly dropped to her knees and slid under the desk turning to look back for only a moment, the haunting spirit here, what was that song that she could hear saying 'the warden' was really trying to keep her from following the lantern. She smirked if the wicked spirit that was controlling the hallway wanted her to not follow the lantern then that meant she was GOING to follow that lantern without question. Quickly turning corners, and darting through doors. The two shinobi in training continued to move and attempt to keep up with the floating lantern. Kuro's goal was mainly to make sure that the other kid wasn't getting himself into hot water or anything of the sorts. As they rushed through the blank and dark hallways, the young Yamanaka could hear Takuya start to shout at the animated inanimate object with pure anger and venom in his words. It was almost as if he was shouting at an arch rival who'd been plaguing him with harassment all of his life. Throwing out profanities and threats at the lantern, Kuro started to question exactly was going on with this boy. His mood was now just shifting from one extreme to another, and this wasn't normal for anyone to do. Taking another corner, he couldn't help but wonder what was going on in this place. It was changing everything, including the people that is engulfed into this hell of a 'dimension' he was now going to call this place only due to the face that he couldn't tell what this exactly was. In all of his pondering, Kuro had almost missed a corner that he'd seen Takuya take. Stretching out his right arm to help him take the corner, he continued to follow not knowing exactly where they were headed.

"What, what is going on, Oh s**t!" Shiro squealed as she scrambled out from under the desk hearing a sudden shift in the door block of desks. As she scooted back from them the desks started to shift, and she heard something akin to a grow before the desks sprang to life. She went wide eyed and quiet literally whimpered like a Bou would when the desks seemed to explode with teeth. She glanced around the room and saw the desks that weren't against the door were shuddering and were obviously going to do the same as the desks against the door. She groaned and readied herself. Why did it have to be desks... She hated class, she hated sitting at the desk for so long, it was so boring and now... Desks, desks were going to attack her in a class room no less. She groaned and carefully watched the room, she wasn't sure if or when any of them might attack. However she continued to slowly back away from the desks in hopes that these things were just visions again and that there wasn't actually teeth on desks that were all looking at her violently with the obvious intent to attack her. Shiro kept her eyes trained on the desks, and her ears stood on high alert, finally one of them moved the desk in the stack in front of the door the one that she had slid under actually suddenly launched itself at her. Shiro however was already suspect of that one and deftly dodged away. However she furrowed her brow in frustration and the spectral sword flared and she nodded "Yea, I don't want to run away from them either." she states firmly. Without giving Jynn much time to react, Loric made a light hop backwards to put some distance between them. He then threw himself down onto all fours once again and began to rapidly gallop towards him. Just before reaching the target, Loric quickly rotated his body to the right before leaping onto the wall and then immediately using it to throw himself into a lunging spin where upon contact he would quickly cling his elongated claws directly into Jynns shoulders and use his gained momentum to wrestle him to the ground. Unlike before, his goal was to not only regain control over Jynn, but to completely lock him down so that his enemy could no longer make any movements. Shiro growled sternly as she lowered herself into a combat ready pose. She wasn't sure what to expect from this attack. However she had made up her mind and she was going to crush these desks. Oh how she hated desks so what better chance would she get to take revenge on these wooden constructs of pure evil. As she clenched her fist the spectral blade from before reared itself with a pulsating hum the glow it emitted was faint but distinct. She smirked and motioned with her left hand at the desks 'come get me.' She waited only a few moments for the first desk to move, two more falling from the stack behind it before bursting with teeth, so she had three of them to face huh? She let out a wry little chuckle. 'Better than the entire class room... right.' she thinks softly as she rolled off to the side dodging a single lunge from the first desk again. "Okay now. Its time I get my revenge." She states a cocky sound to her voice as she launched herself at the 'lead desk'. Her blade hummed with anticipation as she brought it around with the full intent to strike down the desk 'in one single decisive strike!' or at least that was the plan. Shiro hit the desk good and hard the blade making a definite mark in the surface of the desk. She smirked deviously however her grin faded quickly as the desks retaliated and launched into a full assault on her. She yelped and jumped back avoiding the desks as best she could. She slid on her knees beneath a desk as it lunged high and dropped into a roll to avoid another desk. She quickly popped to her feet and spun around only to be smashed into by the third desk. She stumbled forward growling angrily at the desk. However the push took her balance and she crashed directly into one of the other desks, she managed to get away but not before it landed a nasty bite to her left arm. She kicked the desk away with a yelp "You stupid sonovabitch!" she barks haughtily at the desk as she spun around, she found herself now standing in the middle of a triangle formed by the three snarling desks. "Great..." she huffs angrily as she held the blade at the ready. Her back complained some and her arm bled lightly. Today just was not her day. "I'm still going to break you in half!" she barks angrily as she held the blade at the ready, she knew damn well they would hit her again when she tried to strike again however she was determined. Shiro launched forward aiming for the desk with the long scratch scar across its surface. Shiro smashed the blade into the desk and kicked it hard sending the obnoxious wooden construct careening into a wall. It hit with a sickening thump, and it growled its wood groaning some, the legs on the desk wobbled and it looked like it was about to come apart. Shiro smirked and popped her neck. She was starting to figure out their rhythm. She could beat, all of them for sure. She pumped a fist in the air and let out a victorious bark before remembering something 'there's three desks in here...' She dropped quickly and narrowly avoided a desk as it sailed over her head she snatched one of its legs and held on tight it pulled her up off of her feet and directly away from the strike of the third desk. She let out a laugh and kick flipped off of the desk landing with a deft thump on the ground. Her tail swayed with frustration from side to side. "Three of you... So, that strike wasn't good enough to teach you all something?" she states firmly as she scans around the area watching the desks as they regrouped and growled angrily their wicked fangs filled out the rest of the image. "Yea, figured as much... Come get some." she states firmly as she once again motioned with her hand, the desk she had almost broke seemed to have a personal vendetta now as it launched itself at her. She dropped beneath its attack and launched upward to strike at the underneath of the desk. The sailing attack worked perfectly and Shiro hit the desk hard from beneath shattering it into splinters of wood and scattering teeth all about. She smirked wickedly as she spun the blade scattering the bits of desk away from her in the swing. However she hadn't really thought the attack out fully as the second and third desk launched from the ground after her. Shiro looked down at the oncoming desks and let out a yalp, she couldn't dodge in mid air! She spun over and punched her fists into the top of the oncoming desk but that didn't avail her anything. The second desk hit the bottom of the third and propelled it upward, having her atop the desk was the plan apparently as the team attack smashed Shiro into the roof of the academy. Shiro quickly pulled Bou out of his little bag and tossed the pup away from the attack. Bou carefully made his way to the floor as Shiro was smashed into the ceiling. She let out a pained cry as the desks fell away and scrambled across the floor. Shiro seemed to stick to the ceiling momentarily before finally falling away. She hit the ground limply with a heavy thud. Bou yipped and scrambled over to her side licking her on the face until Shiro shuddered and gathered herself "Yea... I'm alright buddy." she states softly obviously getting winded she clenched her fists and swept a leg through the debris of the first desk. "I already took one of you down... So, let's go." she states the cocky sneer from before returning to her features as she launched herself forward at the closest desk. She probably should have considered a different tactic however she just couldn't think of one currently so her best option was to strike head on. Shiro stumbled on her way for the attack as the desks changed up tactic and dodged her attack sliding with unbelievable speed away from her. She whirled around trying to catch one with an attack, but to no avail the desks slid away and then stacked on top of each other behind her. She tried to jump back however their movements seemed to have sped up and the desk crashed into her. The weight and force behind the impact was intense but the pain came from the fact that it chomped down on her left arm AGAIN. She skittered backwards across the ground finally coming to a stop she stared at the desks and furrowed her brow. She looked around the room quickly, none of the other desks were moving any more, she needed a different option attacking head first was getting her nowhere. She held her arm for a moment touching the light trail of blood. The desks didn't have eyes, so how were they tracking her. She growled lightly and the desks shifted in response. Slowly a smirk came across her face. They were hearing her maybe? They didn't seem to have any ears, but that was a reasonable assumption to make. Shiro knelt down and motioned to Bou for him to come to her. The dog scampered over to her and Shiro quickly took her shoes off. She silently instructed Bou that she wasn't playing, and that he wasn't to go and fetch. She held onto both shoes in her left hand and tiptoed back to the other inanimate desks. Stealth, what she needed here was the element of surprise. Shiro was right as she launched one of her shoes in the opposite direction of her hiding place the desks attacked there crashing into the wall and floor near the shoe. her assumption proved correct and she slipped beneath one of the inanimate desks without making so much as a sound. She breathed slow and shallow keeping herself as quiet as possible. Stealth was a feasible approach to these things, that was really good to know. However another problem slowly revealed itself, she couldn't attack from a hiding place, she would need to strike them, which gave the desks the opportunity to strike again. She bit her lip nervously as she crept from her hiding place and climbed atop the desk. They were still unaware of where she was, at the very least when she attacked she would be able to drop a better hit on the desk. She narrowed her eyes swinging her right hand out to the side the weapon revealed itself again it pulsed in her hand and she slowly nodded watching how the desks moved. "Right..." she thinks slowly as she sized up the actions of the desk. She knelt tight to the surface of the desk and waited for one of the desks to roam into the perfect striking location before launching herself from her hiding place at the desk.
