"Don't you dare," B'nen hissed, grabbing the wherhandler's knife hand--and redirecting the attack meant for his brother onto himself, though he tried to mitigate the damage.

Fi'o, attacking Hus
With Ivanhoth somewhere safe, and now that she had a knife to fight with, Fi'o attacked with renewed fervor - and a furious yell as she saw another wher fall.
"B'nen!" This was going too far. He pulled his uninjured arm away from his side and, summoning as much strength as he could muster, aimed a punch straight for the wherhandler's face. He would not hurt his brother like this and get away with it.
Cetalese teamed up with Eliza and approached Ethel again. With back-up, it seemed much easier to direct her foe, and she allowed Eliza's attack to set Ethel up nicely for a two-handed club to the back, unwittingly using the same move D'lin had initially used on the drudge.
Tyeth suddenly processed something he had seen while looking around for a new target and reared back onto his hind legs, searching again. Unbeknownst to him, Dinah collapsed and left his rider safe. He had easily found the familiar Bronze and Brown pair and the tiny target darting around them-- and attacking their riders.
Tyeth bared his teeth again and ran across the distance to them, not bothering to waste energy going into flight. Now that N'mol and Suunath's were safe, he had room to help the others from his weyr as well. As he moved, he saw Gneisth strike-- and miss. The target was small and fast then. No matter. Tyeth was the best Bronze of Benden. He would handle this.
I come, Stromath! We will protect your riders together!
As he reached the group, he, too, attacked Sasask with the same hard swipe that had knocked Dinahsk aside such a short time ago. He was determined to get rid of the wher so that the humans would only have to worry about the armed assassin trying to kill them.
N'mol, the riders of Stromath and Gneisth are losing blood. This handler wields a knife; he must be stopped and I cannot intervene without harming one or the other of our allies.
Agrisk bellowed in pain and anger as another dragon attacked him, but did not sway from his second green target. He snapped his jaws at her, but chomped only on air.

Keela, Changing Targets
... She'd have felt more sorry for the pair had they not been trying to kill them themselves to begin with. Well, seems like things are mostly taken care of here. Keela looked around to see she else she might aid-- only to spot the twin riders in a bloody tangle with a knife-wielding wherhandler. ... Well that had to be fun. You dimglows better live long enough for me to get over there, the greenrider complained silently to herself, starting in their direction as quickly as she could manage. She was still pretty beat-up from her own previous fight, but at least she had a weapon of her own now.
Halith frowned at Agrisk as well as a dragon could and turned herself so that she could lash out at the wher with her tail. The appendage collided with the large Bronze, but it required little effort, and so Halith took the chance to bespeak her rider.
Are you all right, Cetalesemine?
I'm all right, Halith. Eliza and I are together. I'll let you know if there's trouble, but watch your back. Let me know if you need help.
Ethel Defending from Eliza HP - 6/25 def 1d4+1 = 3
In the span of what seemed like a heartbeat Ethel suddenly found herself in dre straits, beleaguered by Eliza and Ceta both Ethel threw her hands up to try and negate the force of Eliza's punch - though this did nothing to stop the club from behind.
Hah! He'd have to do better than that! While Taith certainly appreciated the dragonic aid, she wasn't about to let others have all the fun. The green charged in again to make a swipe at the bronze wher, aiming to slice through flesh.
Eliza Attacking Ethel hp -14/25 atk -1d6+1 = 4 accuracy 4-3 = Hit
While the women managed to block a portion of her strike Eliza was still pleased with the thud of flesh on flesh she received and quickly followed it up with a vicious kick.

Agrin, attacking Halith
Three dragons on his one dumb wher was bound to end badly. Hoping to take some of the focus off the bronze, Agrin sidled into the fight with an assured calm and swung at one of the greens. They couldn't hurt him and he knew it, so as ridiculous as it looked, he was willing to wheedle away at them bit by bit if it helped.
Plexith Attacking Agrisk 65/65 HP atk -1d10+3 = 10 Accuracy - 6 = Hit
Plexith was fully committed to killing every Wher on the field, at least every wher whom had turned against him and as such struck out at his latest target with a vicious look in his eye.
Halith turned her head as she saw a human running up to her and quickly stood at her tallest and moved aside, successfully avoiding any real hurt from his movements. This must be the wher's handler. Halith made a sound of anxiety; she didn't like hurting them, but they were attacking her and her friends! She had to stop them.
Maybe we can avoid killing this one? she asked, looking up at Plexith. If we can simply stop it, it will not be a threat to us.
