Siobhan bobbed her head side to side, watching the couples dance away. Wow, it was just such a spiffy affair. To think a ghoul such as herself had the honour of attending it! The long haired banshee perked up as the baku addressed her, grinning ear to ear. "Hello! You are... u..." She blushed blue and began to panic. "Oh goodness, what was your name? Oh my I am so so so so sorry!" She fretted, bottom lip wobbling at having forgotten her name already.

Heidla smiled rather naughtily at the thought of dancing with the ghoul: in her mind, female dances were all connected to trance - and trance was... well, something that would definitely change your prom experience. "Well, I'd rather see you dance", she cocked her head curiously. "I know nothing about Famine dances - or we should ask the Famine clansmen to show it to us..." "As for indecent masked traditions...." she paused. "Torture. Torturers are always masked, aren't they?" she smiled innocently but with that slightly discernible sadistic threat that made it evident that Death priestess were no cute alpacas. "And sacrifice is done in masks", she nodded wistfully. "So lots of wonderful things where masks are a part of game. But guess, this one is not the case". "And I see you know enough about our Isles, have you been there?" she asked the ghoul in a casual tone. She noted curiously to herself that she was asked to dance as second best, but shrugged her shoulders. As if she cared. "That's fine with me", she turned to Fai. "You must be better at dancing than I am, though. I will just follow you this time".

Laughing, Xiu held up her hands and shook her head, trying to show the other ghoul that it was okay. Her name, she knew, was not a particularly easy one to remember. Heck, even the pronunciation still gave people trouble sometimes! Hoping to relieve Siobhan with a little humour--that wobbling bottom lip was alarming her just a little--Xiu dropped down into an over-dramatic and flourishing bow.
"Don't worry about it! I'm Xiuying, but please just call me Xiu!" When she straightened up, she grinned at the banshee, lifting her camera and tapping it with her fingers.
"While I'm here, mind if I get a picture of you? I really do love your dress."

If she wanted to get him to pay attention and have coherent thoughts, touching him in new and interesting ways was probably not the way to do it. Still, West tried not to falter as she tugged at his chin, positioning his face so that he could do nothing but stare at her even more intently. For a moment, he worried about what his feet were actually doing, but since he wasn't falling, he figured it was something passable. "I can do that," West murmured. His hand slid higher along her side then back down again, fingers tightening at her hip.

Siobhan seemed to visibly calm down, smiling shyly at the fancy bow. "Xiu!" She repeated so she wouldn't forget, her hands balled into fists by her chest, nodding assuredly. She blinked as Xiu pointed to her camera, blushing blue at the request. "R-really? Thank you! Ah-- I shall... strike a pose then?" Siobhan skipped back a step with a giggle, spinning in spot one circle before posing with her hands behind her back, digging her toe to the floor shyly.

Jericho nodded to that statement. "Yeah... If things get a little overwhelming, we could step out for that very reason... " he noted while watching the people out on the floor right now. Things looked to be... relatively peaceful. He thought he saw some sort of confrontation earlier but it seemed to have settled now. "It looks like everyone is playing nice... more or less."

Laughing again, Xiu bounded back a few stepped and peered into her camera to see how the shot was. This ghoul certainly was sweet, wasn't she? After some adjustment, she held out a thumbs up to Siobhan. "Okay, ready? One...two..."
The flash went off, and baku straightened up, satisfied. "Thank you very much! Prom is my favourite time to take pictures." There was a pause, and then she removed the strap from around her neck, holding it out to the banshee.
"Would you like to try?"

"Oh well then stay close to me and I can try to steady you if you get off balance." Did Yin have any clue as to the fact that Alexander could use that as a good excuse to put his hands on him at various times in the name of staying upright? It never crossed his mind. Of course Yin remembered their trip to the maul, it verged on being unforgettable. "Oh well that was kind of her. I am sure that it will work out nicely for you." There was nothing wrong with a bit of physical labor to Yin, and a job was a job. No judgment was passed on the job description. While he did not specifically remember the shoes the staff wore their clothing had appearred nice enough. He was content enough with small talk, but a look around revealed...dancing he supposed. It had no great appeal to him, so if he had a choice he would push it off as long as possible. "Have you had time to eat yet?"A full zombie was a happy zombie. At least in Yin's opinion.

Meixiang was only slightly nervous. This was her first Prom. She hoped her outfit looked good at least, the ghoul liked it anyway. Stepping into the room where the event was taking place she glanced about with dark brown eyes. She felt shorter than usual with all the taller people here, congregating together. Her gaze swept over all the lovely decorations with awe. The student council always seemed to out do themselves somehow. The ghoul lingered near the entryway. Waiting for Eisheth to arrive. Still curiously peeking about for familiar faces.

Eisheth had a lot to think before going to the Prom, though finally she persuaded herself to leave all the thoughts behind the doorstep. If she was going to socialize a bit, she should relax: the alchemist wasn't that good at acting to afford feel nervous. Mei was already waiting for her, when she arrived; the ghoul looked more nervous than Eisheth, and much more nervous than she expected. Why?... " Hope I made it in time,", she greeted the student. " Do I look suitable?". Actually, for inexperienced eye the alchemist was looking pretty much the same as usual, but for Eisheth the difference was huge: she changed the places of almost all her bracelets and beads.

Levi might have been wearing a rather thick full skirt and a strong bodice, but she could feel fingers at her hipbones. That sort of positioning caused her ears to twitch in response, standing straight up in attention. It wasn't typical for them to be this close this way. Usually, if Levi took hold of West like this, it was to flip him over her shoulder and force him into a pin. The same thing could be said of West; similarly, anyways. West's hands were best known to her in the form of a fist or potentially a swift chopping-like hand depending on how he was attacking/defending. This was them without the fight. This was Levi with her mate, dancing at a festivity where fancy attire and all the city folk came out for a night of masquerading. These thoughts broke her fourth wall which contained just her and West on the dance floor. Yes, there were others there. Yes, they could see her dancing with West. Oh Jack Danged Almighty in a Ditch...Yes, they saw where his hands were. Is'it helpin' ya? Levi just couldn't tell him to stop it. She didn't really have an objection to it so all the tatzel inquired about was whether it helped to improve the wrath demon's poise. To keep them dancing just so. Tail swaying side to side with the music beat, Levi too moved her hands. Her fingertips clasped at the back of West's neck. Once again, she was becoming lost.

"It is a good time for pictures! There are so many lovely dresses and suits." She very much needed to see last year's pictures. The banshee walked toward Xiu as she took off the strap, gasping at her offer. "Truly? Oh my. I have never used a camera before.." The banshee hesitantly took the camera, treating it like it was made of glass "So I point it and click this bu---" she had it pointed at herself when she clicked the button, temporarily stunned by the flash. "Goodness!"She turned the camera around and saw the.. less than flattering picture of her on the screen. "Um..."

A wide grin parted her lips as Eisheth finally arrived. Smoothing out her skirt, the ghoul nodded as she examined the other. Noting the subtle changes she had made to her regular arrangement of accessories. "You look great!"Slipping an arm around Eisheth's own arm, she guided her into the room furthur. "Would you like to get some punch or something first? It'd be a good opportunity for socializing. Its the main area for drinks so many people will be coming and going."She cast another glance about the room, spotting Alex with Yin not too far away. They seemed to be preoccupied with their own conversation for the moment. And Shehk was here too, good. Another friendly and familiar face. The ghoul would introduce Eisheth to them once the time was appropriate.

She allowed her hand to be lifted and kissed though being a much more bashful ghoul a bit of color dusted her pale cheeks as she gave a small smile, "O..Oh, yes thank you very much, Ulmuka, your words are very kind and flattering," she murmured softly suddenly feeling shy and uncertain what to do next after that particular display. Her head tilted toward Needle for a moment as if seeking some sort of guidance before she just resolved to try and act on her own accord, "You look very pleasant today," she said but for her his appearance was slightly 'figurative' his shape didn't seem unpleasant and it appeared as well put together as all the other moving shapes around them.
Quietly she shifted next to Petro her eyes observing the area around them so far as Petro asked some of the questions over what was happening at the Prom. She figured if she stayed and listened for long enough she would get all the information she'd need.
She tilted her head toward her Twin, "Are you having a wonderful time so far?"
