 Lin Sat on the roof of the school, looking out over Death City. She had skipped her previous class and was now going into her next. She was having one of her off days. She could not really register anything, so she figured she might as well take it easy. After all, when she was like this, she could try her hardest and still forget everything she learned that day. She leaned back and popped in her headphones and cranked up the volume on her Mp3 player. Down with the Sickness by Disturbed blared from her headphones and she tapped her foot with the rhythm. She was amazed her cousin had not found her yet, but she knew it would be just a manner of time. Her cousin would probably try to get her back into class. She knew it, but she was feeling too lazy right now to move around. Her cousin, Ushi, was her weapon and best friend. Because of this, she had a knack for finding her quickly. She began to sing along as she pulled out a bottle of Mountain Dew and her portable game station. Turning on the game, she began to shoot people in a first person shooter while taking swigs of her Mountain Dew and singing with the song.

  Ushi walked up to the roof and looked around, she seemed a little annoyed. "where is she?" Ushi asked herself as she let out a small groun before she spotted Lin. "There you are Lin!" Ushi shouted as she stormed over to her cousin. "why aren't you in class!?" Ushi asked as she pulled Lin's headphones out of her ears. "the only reason i'm here is because of you, and for that i'm not going to let you skip classes just because you don't feel like it, now come Lin." Lin sighed when Ushi found her. She popped the earbud back in, shut off the game, and drained her Mountain Dew. She did not struggle, but she went at her own, very laidback, pace. “No point in going other than to be there. I’m having one of those days. You took longer than I thought to find me.” As she passed another girl on the roof, she took a second look, mentally rating her. “Meh, I’ve seen cuter.” After a moment, she sighed again. “Come on cuz, just let me relax, like I said, I’ll just probably fall asleep or something. I’ve already seen the girls and guys in there so, there’s nothing to do when I’m like this. You know how I get.” She was referring to her fallback of entertaining herself by rating the girls and guys while sketching them in her notebook. “Let’s stop by the bathroom on our way to class. I gotta go.” She did not expect it to work, it was a trick she had used several times to ditch her parents. Fake needing to use the restroom, and crawl out the window. She was a contortionist, so she could slip through almost any window.

Ushi looked at Lin. "fine but i'll be standing right next to you in the stall, so you can pull anything like you usually do." Ushi said knowing what Lin was planning. "ether way, as long as your in the class i don't care what you do... sleep your way to an F for all i care cuz but your going to be in class one way or another okay.." Ushi said as she walk behind Lin still keeping a hold of her hand and started pushing Lin from behind. "plus maybe if you didn't focus more on the the guys and girls around you in class maybe you wouldn't be so bored." Lin groaned as her cousin continued. “Jeez…you act just like my mom. If I sleep during class, how is that any different than skipping and having some fun?” If it were anyone but Ushi, Lin would have picked up her pace just to see them fall face first on the roof. “Stop pushing, I am already going. And I already stopped paying attention to them. I am bi…I can’t really help it. Besides, the only one worth looking at is the red-haired girl that sits three rows behind me. You know, the one that changes into a sword and is always making origami? And no need to rush…we got like five minutes until the end of class…I mighta set your watch back a bit…Not on purpose, I thought it was mine and forgot to set it back…sorry.” She really had not intended to change Ushi’s watch, and had forgotten to change it back…and she would most certainly be sorry after the scolding she knew she would get for that confession.

"because this way you still get credit for just being in class.. with that you wont fail to badly.." Ushi said waiting for Lin's remark. "and it doesn't matter if your Bi, don't focus on the people around you in class do that out side of class." Ushi rolled her eyes as Lin jumped the railing. "really..." Ushi said as she jumped the railing at the same time changing to weapon form flying right in front of Lin blade first into the floor. "you know what i give up, if you don't want to go to class fine but i'm coming with you and you have to treat me to some ice cream...." Ushi said as she changed back into her human form and walked a head of Lin. "if you don't i'll let Aunty and Uncle know that you skipped class again." Buildings were on fire and collapsing in on themselves. People were running through the streets crying and searching for their loved ones. But the most horrible scene was the dead bodies and bloodstained roads, looking at this gruesome scene would cause many to vomit or lose hope, but Atticus would seem to take it all in and even become use to the sounds. Standing up on the roofs, Atticus thought about what he should do and what he wanted to do.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Kuro stopped running when she reached the roof not caring if she had won or not at this point she was tired. After a moment of catching her breath she stood leaning over the railing of the roof, watching the other students fight this made her sigh slightly.
