Lightly tracing some of his scars she smiled at him, "Among my father's people, scars are nothing more than badges of survival. Something to be proud of. I like them, they make you who you are." Kissing his cheek, "Besides, you have scars, I have scales, to me they're just another physical characteristic. Something for people to recognize you."

She looked off to the side, "and I got hurt on a number of occasions so... I guess being normal was not only my childhood wish, but my teenage and young adult one as well. It is hard to be different. I could never tell if those boys were after me to get my feathers, free pleasure, or because they thought I was pretty. But never once did any of them tell me I was beautiful..." She stared at the ground as she danced with Silveril. "Anyway..... thats not such a good thing to talk about at such a cheerful event," she added as she looked up at him and gave him another small smile. "Ill wish for something more meaningful."

  Nash smiled, "Thank you...." he replied quietly as he turned his gaze to the ground. "I guess even I get self-cautious sometimes. Especially over these scars. They link me to Fin so..... I don't know....." he let out a sigh then began fiddling with his necklace with his trembling hands. He couldn't tell if he was shaking from excitement or if it was from the thought of possibly always being a part of Fin. He really hoped that he wouldn't be stuck with the possessed scarecrow until the end of his days.

Tshila stared at Rose, bewildered. Why had this conversation with two cute guys turned into one guy moping and a third guy acting like she'd just sprouted a second head from her forehead. Man, she was doing really poorly tonight. Not that she was used to guys falling over themselves for her but at the very least, she was used to them not cringing away like she was going to chew their faces off.
Though, from what she understood, her mother did that sometimes. So maybe he'd heard she was a Djinn. But then again, she hardly had cannibalistic tendencies. Ugh.
"Well, alrighty then. Seems I'm not wanted over here so I'm going to head somewhere else! Bye guys! It was nice to meet you Isamu! And you Harley!" She flashed a smile and waved to the others and, well, she kind of bounded. There was a little less bounce in her step because all this rejection was starting to get to her a little. Oh well! She saw a group gathering off to the side and slipped in there, finding a free seat. She had no idea what they were doing but at least no one over here hated her. Probably.
Yet.

Isamu sighed as he watched Tshila leave. Rose had scared her off. He was still rather upset with the other boy, and felt terribly ashamed of himself for angering him. "You..... do not love me. Do you?" He asked quietly as he ran his finger along the side of the bench absentmindedly. It was a question that had been lingering in the back of Isamu's mind for a while now. He had very recently realized that the strong feelings he had been having were ones of lust and love, a crush. But he realized that no matter what he did, Rose always ran right back to Gray.

Well, she looked like a different person so she was pretty much like a different person. He set aside her paper and pencil for now.
"Ah, well there really isn't any need for talking when you're dancing." Severin said. "Let's just enjoy the dance."
He guided her to the bonfire so they could start dancing. He took both of her hands and started to dance.

Nash's hands still trembled even after Syn took hold of them, but they seemed to calm down quite a bit and were now just shaking lightly. "Yes.... if this necklace ever gets destroyed... we will both die.... and I swear hes out to kill me. Technically if I die he dies but... I have a feeling that theres some underline cause to all of this. But I can't figure out what it is. I try not to worry about it too much but... it kind of scares me..." He told her quietly. He then laid his head on her shoulder, "Thats the whole reason I came to Rosentale. Im hoping someone there can help me.... "
