Yes. It did sound like Halloween was caught up in the middle here as Lizzy asked. Feeling the prod to the chest, Shun narrowed his eye before tensing and gritting his teeth because of it. He didn't answer right away as he had to wait for the pain spike to fade off before he did so.
"Of course. I doubt Mitsu would let me do anything else afterwards anyway," he replied plainly to the spider demon. It was on the plan. But this was something he both wanted and felt that he needed to see through first and foremost.

Lizzy's Skelephone Should we kill the hunter, or let him off with some injuries? Type your name under where you stand. If you have no stand on the matter, pass the phone on. Yes Shun Amrita Jericho Mitsu Hel Aymet No Lizzy Christof - Leave him Mangled as example. MEMEMEMEMEMENOTKILLINGORMAININGORANYTHING No stand Xiu Bul Shehk Mot Vaith Personally, Vaith thought it was too soon to make a definitive answer on the matter. Sure, they had the hunter now and this question pertained to this hunter .. but it also pertained to every other hunter in existence. Vaith was tempted to agree with an eye for an eye but the thought made him uncomfortable ..
It was annoying, how he didn't know the answer. Even though he should have.
He texted in "no stance."

What? Did the Hunters really think--...this was ridiculous! Were the Hunters really going after them because they thought that they killed humans? Or...was it exactly as Lizzy had said, and they were simply caught between the Hunters and the Horsemen? After all, Invictus had also pointed out that the Hunters began to move when the four heirs appeared at Amityville.
Xiu's lips pressed together tightly as she moved forward to step up beside the spider demoness. She reached out to give Lizzy's hand a reassuring squeeze--she could feel the frustration and tension coming from the ghoul, and needless to say, she was feeling some of it herself--and gave her a little nod of approval. Getting the injured out of here ASAP was the right thing to do, and as for the Hunter...
She crouched down in front of him, her expression grim. "You say that you're trying to prevent the slaughter of humankind. I can understand that--we fight to protect ourselves as well. However," She paused briefly to turn and gesture towards Lizzy and Amrita, "As you've just been told, we do not kill. Therefore, my question is, does this change anything now that you know?"
She was pretty sure that she already knew the answer, but she couldn't help but be blindly hopeful. If they really were caught in the middle of the real conflict, then it was unlikely that what happened to them mattered much to the Hunters.
And, of course, there was the fact that--judging from the general consensus--this man would not be leaving here at all. Attempting to explain things to the Hunter was not necessarily a bad thing, but considering that he was likely going to be killed? It was probably pointless either way.

The hunter sighed, actually sighed, and gave them a sardonic look, "Just because it's against your laws, doesn't mean that your people don't do it. If you don't have the power to prevent them from going to the Human world, you hardly have the power to vouch for each and every being within this world. Besides," he eyes slid toward Hel. "Even if it they don't kill, not all methods of instilling fear could be considered harmless."
He laughed softly, "You ask me about Insanity, a new and terrible affliction among your kind. But your mere presence in our world can cause insanity among humans."

"In the end, it's easier to target the civilians, huh," As much as hated to admit it, she was feeling... A little sorry for the humans. Obviously not this human, but innocent humans - like the ones they saw during that DETH field trip to the human world. Perhaps they were stuck in the middle too, "There are people working towards coexistence in both of our worlds, but there will always be bad pumpkins. After all, the people you were supposed to meet today had betrayed their own kind for a handful of seeds."
She paused, "Ah right, how long do hunter golems last in Halloween? Can their physical appearance be decided by the hunter using one?"

"Or future terrorists, yes." His lips curled, "And if you think they're the only ones to betray you then lets hope you never inconvenience those in power here." He cocked his head slightly at the questions, "As long as we need them, and the ability to customize depends on the hunter."

"Don't need to tell us hunters are all crazy sons of witches," Aymet murttered to Amrita, insofar as a phylactery could mutter. "Yeah? Like who?" The dracolich tried to sound as casual as he could, incredulous even, which was not easy. For once Aymet's hell of a poker face came in handy - his locked expression couldn't betray his genuine, even morbid, curiosity. Considering that rumor had it Red had died to protect them all, it was probably not the teachers. But, like Lizzy said, there were bad people out there. This whole thing was a big, huge, secret, tangled, twisted mystery puzzle of revenge and justice and he wanted to solve it right now.

Shun gritted his teeth at that answer. It figured there would be corrupted cops. There always were. Come to think of it, during Christmastival, there were 'boogeymen' kidnapping students around Halloween. The initial thought was that they were hunters in disguise, and perhaps they still were. But a whole new possibility of boogeys enabling sprang up. When it came down to it, they just had to watch out who they were going to trust. Oh yes. Speaking of the golems, there was one thing that he was reminded of. He heard someone say that humans can't survive in Halloween but... "How is it that some of you are able to move freely in Halloween without one of the golems? Your superior, for example, has a tendency to show up in the flesh."

"We're beginning to think that the mere presence of you hunters is what's causing Insanity among us," Jericho snapped.
The other information was worrisome as well. They couldn't trust anyone is what it boiled down to. New students were not to be trusted. Most of the faculty, and certainly not strangers outside of the school regardless if they were of authority or not.

Now the hunter was just getting ridiculous. Shehk found it rather difficult to believe that so many on their side could have been wrapped up in this hunter business. The implications about the Horsemen wasn't surprising to her, and yet....
She looked to Jericho again when he implied the hunters were the cause of their Insanity - it seemed valid enough. If their exposure to the other side could cause insanity amongst humans, why was it not vice-versa as well? She couldn't see any reason why not. Yet the whole situation was seeming to make things worse.
She wasn't sure if she trusted what the human was saying anymore.

When Shun had hissed in pain again Mitsu did what she could to sooth him, gently rubbing at his shoulders knowing the pain was out of her hands to treat. Crimson orbs glanced up and about at the other students, staring at Israfel in confusion, turning to Hel, Mot and Mac with concern, looking to Lizzy still trying to process her in admin mode. There was just so much going on. They really should have compiled their questions before this adventure when they could have thought with a clear mind. The lycan's ears perked again when Stacey made mention that the Kuroda family had not been the only ones to betray their kind. There had been others. Others in power. While everyone seemed to be taking this in it didn't seem like anyone was going to ask. " W..wait if the people you were going to meet today haven't been the only ones...who? Who else has betrayed us and handed our kind over?" In desperate search of answers Mitsu actually moved to Shun's side so that she could face the hunter directly and not just peek at the being from over the reaper's shoulder. Crouched on all fours the lycan looked at the Hunter's face expectantly wondering if there was a way to shut off the threat from the inside at least. " We...we really did mean to never cause humans harm." Mitsu tried to explain hoping it would ease the hunter into answering with more detail. Though the passed tense might have caught some curious suspicion. " We need the human world as much as our own and I am certain a balance of fear is needed in your world as well." Without the humans they had no FEAR without FEAR they would slowly fade into nothing. Not going to the human world wasn't an option but perhaps a compromise could eventually be made. The probability of it starting here was slim but there was hope. Also...." Why...are you so calm?" It was a little unnerving. Mitsu would have been frightened out of her wits by now to be captured by a bunch of strange creatures not knowing what they had planned and the Hunter didn't have the luxury of dissipating back home.

Oh, Hel. Mac sighed and 'watched her' do nothing more than she had already done, aside from speaking two new words since he'd come over. Black eyes focused on Lizzy as she gave her Admin command, and he wasn't about to refuse it. She was right of course, and besides...she was the admin, apparently. Was that why she had run to the bathroom so many times during the initial call...? Now that he thought about it, it had been perfectly timed...
But still, Lizzy, in power like this?
Weird.
"You heard the Boss, Mot." Yeah, he wasn't going to give Hel an option anymore, but as he waved the Grim Reaper back to duty, he looked down at the bloody mess of his friend. "You know, Hel, it's not weakness to rely on someone who loves you." With a shrug he got to his feet, dusting himself off. He was pretty sure Mot was in love; his reaction spoke more than just friends and besides, Lizzy had told him quite a bit about their relationship.
"Or from any friend, really."

It wasn't so much a voice, as much as simply a thought that occurred to Jericho of his own volition. Even in his bloodthirsty state, there was something suddenly telling him that perhaps killing the hunter wasn't the right choice. They were being played for fools, the voice told him. They should leave the hunter where he was, and leave.
Now.
Perhaps, if he didn't listen, then new questions began to crop up in his head. Where was the pendant? Was it really safe holding foreign technology in the hands of students? Maybe it was time to get them to safety, and mull on everything they'd learned so far. Or maybe it was just time to get away from that hunter, as quickly as possible.
But Jericho's stronger, more powerful thoughts warred against this desire. He wanted the hunter dead, and he wanted to do it with his own hands.. perhaps that smaller voice in his head wouldn't be listened to at all. It was up to him, in the end.
One last question bubbled up quietly in Jericho's mind. Calder had mentioned being in that chamber, once. But something had gone wrong, with him. And in the trials, those hallucinations the Horsemen rendered had Hunters proclaiming only some of them acceptable. Jericho himself had been tested, and thrown away for incompatibility. So then, the question remained, why weren't they ready?
But this question came as an idle thought, a passing fancy, and overall, the little voice in Jericho's head returned to focusing on telling him to Run. Now.

Calder was still concerned. The weapon MIGHT have the possibility to be returned to a citizen again. Just because they were brainwashed didn't mean they couldn't recover. Being directly in the influence of the Hunters had to do something to them after a while. Just because the hunter said they hadn't been successful didn't mean that they didn't have the technology to.
"Your weapon? How can it survive in your world? How are you able to summon it? Doesn't it need Fear to live? How many weapons do you all try to make each month?" As it was, didn't it die at some point if it was staying in the human world? He also wanted to get a bigger picture of how they worked. The Hunters were strong because of their weapons, and if they could stop them having weapons or using them, then that was one threat down.
"And you say you came here with magic? How do humans have magic?" They should have that.
