With a simple click of the lock, Calder locked himself up in a toilet stall in the boil's bathroom.

"THOSE ARE GORGEOUS AND THAT NECKLACE TOO, WOW SEIJI GOT YOU ALL OF THESE?" She was in awe, and Junko's happiness was so contagious that Lizzy found herself spazzing grinning like a fool, "Flowers and jewelry! You're a lucky ghoul! EEEEEEEeeeeee-"

And as soon as Calder was gone, Riley caught the sound of squealing not so far away. In fact, she was just a few feet away from the two ghouls who found such joy in the moment together. Riley cast one glance in Calder's direction, her brow furrowing gently, before it smoothed out and she moved to join the ladies.
What are we squealing about, my darlings? Riley stood just behind Junko, her hands brushing down the ghoul's back. Are you both enjoying yourself? To Junko, she bent her head and tilted it slightly. Has Lizzy told you what has happened? She doubted it, but they were squealing, after all.. ghouls squealed over such things, did they not? She did not.. but most did she wagered.

"He did!" Junko was trying very hard not to crush the flowers against her chest in her excitement. She didn't want to wreck them! She wanted to bring them to her room and put them in a vase of some kind so she could admire them until they dried up. And then she would keep them forever. Just like the necklace, just like Seiji.
Riley's voice entered her mind and the ghoul touched her back, startling her a bit and nearly whacking her with the stupid fairy wings as she turned to look back at Riley. "Yes! Seiji gave me presents for our one year anniversary~! See? Isn't it pretty? I've never owned jewelry before and it's so pretty!" Yes, Junko. Just keep squealing about how awesome Seiji is while standing right beside him. Feed that ego some more.
Ehhhh? Junko's eyes widened. "What happened?"

"EEEeeee- Oh! Oh! AKDGKAGDKAG!" She threw her arms up into the air when Riley approached and asked a question, before gripping Junko on her shoulders, turning her so that they were completely eye-to-eye, "I didn't! I didn't! Uh uh uh I was so happy to see you that it completely slipped my mind! BUT-"
She glanced briefly at Riley to make sure that it was okay, resisting the urge to giggle as she continued speaking, trying to sound as calm as possible, "- Malodore proposed to Riley earlier."
One second... Two seconds... Three sec-
Lots of giggling and then squealing.

Well. Apparently there were many reasons to be squealing, but Lizzy saved Riley the trouble of explaining herself, so instead the Illithid remained silent and simply rose her hand up to show Junko the bracelet. It spoke for itself, but she rather liked the explanation behind it, so for that, she broke her silence.
Forged from the precious metal of it's wings, more connected to it than just flesh and bone, I assure you. But Lizzy is correct, it seems I have found myself engaged.
She did not squeal. But she looked very, very dopily happy about it.

Junko's shoulders were grabbed and she was turned, looking very confused. What happened? Eh? What happened?! Why wouldn't they just tell her whyyyyyy!
......Ma..Malodore..?! Malodore what?!
She gasped, nearly dropping her bouquet as she whirled around look for a ring. No ring, no ri--a bracelet? Awwwwwwww! That was so sweet! Junko jumped a few times with joy, carefully holding her bouquet so she could throw her arms around her friend without ruining the flowers. Man, she needed to find a place for these. "That's amazing! Ohohoh! Do you know when it'll be? After graduation? Oh jack this is ama--"
Something occurred to Junko just then.
Weddings meant dresses.
Dresses that needed making.
"Dibs on your dress." Junko said very seriously, her stare intense. This was not up for argument.

Oh, and there she went, bouncing like a rubber ball until she flung herself around Riley's shoulders. One smooth arm wrapped around Junko to catch the ghoul, keeping her there for a hug as Junko hovered inches from the ground. She started to sound a touch like Israfel with all of the questions, and Riley's head swam dizzily. Would she get this kind of treatment from everyone she told? Perhaps she should just write it in a newspaper announcement or something, to get it over with..
The thought of exposing such private news suddenly made her shudder, and she couldn't figure out why.
Since it has just happened today, there is no information on when, or where, or..
Dress? She looked down at what she was wearing, and then back up at Junko, giving her the stank eye.
Who even says I will be the one wearing the dress? She skirted around the issue carefully.

Eeeee! She was in the air! She was flyi--oh wait no Riley was just really tall. Right! Though Riley made a good point. Why would they have a date when it only just happened? How silly of her to ask such a question!
When she was given the look Junko pouted. "Don't give me that look. You put me in pink fairy wings."
But then she said something that made her heart shatter. You could almost hear it. It sounded like despair. But she simply kept that pout. "Then I'll make Malodore's dress."

Riley had to laugh at her response, and it was a sweet, bubbly laugh that she'd never publicly let escape before. She set Junko back down on her feet, and shook her head. Ah, my dear, you are a gift. We shall see what comes when the time is right, I suppose. These, ah, engagements..
Riley's face crunched up, looking mystified. We do not have engagements, we only have betrothals. The word struck a painful chord in her heart, but she refused to let it show. The thought of him, right now, was unwelcome. The thought of him any time was unwelcome, or so she had assured herself. Matches made of the strongest warriors to ensure good bloodlines. You understand. So things like engagements, and love, ah.. She shrugged. Would either of you happen to know how long such things are supposed to last? I assume this isn't something I should be thinking about in the immediate future.. right?
Her heart clenched slightly, and not from joy this time. She hadn't even thought about these things, and something was tickling at the back of her mind. Something that made her want to worry, but refused to surface. It was blanketed by a warm soothing comforter of joy.

Shine wants to get to know somebody!
Playing the games had proven to be fun...until they started to scare her. Shine considered going to play some of them again, if the flashybox could be avoided; it wasn't worth losing her happy fuzzy feeling over.
As she moved towards the largest gathering of students, she clutched her hands together, gaze darting quickly to and fro. She was a little worried over the crowd, hoping that nobody made any quick and sudden movements towards her. The last thing anyone wanted for Scarentine's Day was to have a ruined dress (and face), she was sure.
Without a word, she lingered near the tables, watching on as her classmates chatted with one another. That would be nice, she thought, making friends that weren't scared of her. She'd had such a bad streak lately, giving off some of the worst first impressions. It was a wonder anyone was friendly to her at all.

"... Dibs on whichever dress Junko is not making. Robe, dress. Same difference," She put on her best poker face, despite the fact that she just wanted to continue bouncing around in happiness - mostly for her friends, rather than for herself - which might be why her face was twitching, ever so slightly.
However, Riley's comment made her pause, and for a moment, caused the extreme happiness she felt to come crashing down; she never really knew about what Riley's "family" was like, nor their take on relationships. She could understand the words that Riley was using, but the meaning behind them? It was lost to her; it actually took a while for her question to sink in, and even then, she seemed a little uncertain.
"You mean... How long engagements should last?" She frowned, scratching her cheek, looking thoughtful, "I'm guessing... As long as it takes to plan the wedding? So... Until the day we graduate? And Riley..." Her frown deepened as she hesitated, not sure if this was something she had a right to interfere with, "A marriage is between two people, so as long as you and Malodore are ready and happy..."

AMARUS wants to get to know somebody!
Back for a third time, Amarus would have to get to meet more students if she wanted to meet her self-imposed Scarentines quota. She'd already caused enough trouble in her own small way, but she may as well reap the full potential of the event if she could.
If only she had more of a temper, perhaps picking fights would be easier. She could hardly punch the ghoul she'd just talked to; Genora seemed harmless enough. Anyway, Amarus signed up yet again, hoping that perhaps the next student wouldn't mind being punched in the face. Although She wasn't the only one going around doing that, if Muka's face was any evidence.

Christof had waved quietly to Amrita, relaxing a little when he just saw a meek little girl waiting for her at her table. Alright. At least it wasn't some upright, handsome young boil... and... and she liked him too. His face had gone red, but he let her go. With a sigh, he glanced about- she had offered him a needle and thread to fix his face, but there hadn't been time. He'd have to mend it himself. Ugg. That meant facing a mirror... The other Council members seemed busy, all tending to the crowds and traffic control and their own romantic endeavors. They wouldn't miss him for a moment. Limping his way towards the bathroom, a white and green blur beat him to it, and he heard a sudden click of a locking door. Hurm. Was that Calder...? Timidly, he gave a knock on the door and a gentle grunt to let him know it was him. "Haaa?" He managed through the slits of broken skin. What had happened? Where was Barth? Don't tell him he had written off the Kelpie for that collecting hussy who always seemed to leave his Master in the lurch?
