He made a fan out of a kunai and his finger. It was going to start hurting after a while, but until then it would be amazing. Ummm... Considering your bloodline is still locked... You just intentionally cut off your finger? Well, it could count as a tiny limb I suppose. You should wait to post until Hikaro, Luo and I have come to an actual conclusion on whether or not the timeskip/leaving before the end thing is even allowable. Gotta say though, I find it somewhat off putting that you're the first to post as soon as we consider allowing you to leave, despite having been complaining about having nothing to do even though you were a part of the event. It states that I'm allowed to manipulate small amounts of metal. I can't choose between Satetsu or the Gold sand until Chunin, but as of right now, as far as I could tell, I'm within my right to manipulate small things like Kunai. Also, Kunai have a loop on the end of the handle, which he obviously put his finger through. Or, since I can manipulate it, he could have it balanced on the tip of his finger, or just free floating while spinning. I could do many number of things, but I'll go for the more realistic, needing to maintain contact with the metal itself in order to manipulate it that fast. I was sent an email that said to leave the village, and you posted telling Kage to post in the Merchant road... Am I incorrect that that is sufficient evidence to come to the conclusion that it is acceptable to move on? Also, As far as that is concerned, I'd rather not post within the village with Laxus, since no matter what he does, he'll run into Raphael in the market place. ( You can't run from a fight, into the market place, then just ignore the fact that 4 other shinobi are about to fight against some thugs. The thugs are bound to yell and make a commotion. ) It'll only stand to reason that Kensei and Sora would attempt to help, and Laxus would have, again, been unable to do anything. I complained about having nothing to do because no matter what I did, it wouldn't have mattered, it would have broken some rule somehow.

The only abilities granted from creation by a bloodline are elements, passive bonuses, and the main chakra bonus. (Some bloodlines, such as Konaga, obviously are exceptions to this rule, but Satetsu is not.) To gain the advanced abilities, in this case, magnetism, you have to unlock the bloodline, which is normally done by way of a life or death situation. Multiple people have mentioned to me on that note, that they found it rather disappointing that you didn't even try to take advantage of the current events to do just that. I apparently misunderstood the post's intention though. For some reason I read it as spinning the kunai tip on your finger like a top... My post was simply in response to the question of how it would proceed. Since I don't actually have a plan right now as to the proceedings after the fight, it actually makes it easier on me to have a time skip immediately following the fight, but I do want to know if Luo has something planned before removing his targets from the area.

If I remember correctly, Cobra himself said that at creation magnetism is possible. If It wouldn't have been suicide for Laxus to so much as attract the attention of Jishaku, I might have. I was unaware that we were suddenly enforcing that rule, especially with a character that's used the ability, which no one objected to beforehand. If it is that much of a problem, I'll edit that part out. ( Although magnetism is a passive bonus, it requires no chakra as far as what I've done. ) EDIT: As far as that's concerned, if I'm unable to use it at this point in time, then your village will not know of Laxus's ability, nor Kensei's and Sora's beyond what they put on the forms at the gate. Laxus wouldn't have revealed his, and in turn neither would the other two.
Oh, no no no no! That would be terrible, and obviously damage him. Also, how would that create a fan? O.o
Ah, I thought you were giving the Okay to move on. If Luo has another plan, then I'll remove the post. Or, actually, let's leave it, as it will be used at some point in time. I'll have Laxus post within the confines of hte village, if Luo has something for us to do.
I'm actually thinking that Laxus simply lose a leg or an arm and have Automail ( I really don't like using that term since it seems like such a Fullmetal Alchemist rip, but essentially it is. ) to replace it, and have it get progressively stronger. Sort of like a puppet's arm, except used in conjunction with magnetism. ^>^

I seem to recall the debate coming up every time you've posted using the ability... And Cobra is one of the ones that noticed you not taking the opportunity I believe.
It wouldn't make a fan. Another reason I was a tad confused. XD
Randomly losing a limb without in game reason just to make a custom tech... Would be strange, and probably in bad taste. That said, if David ever loses limbs I'm going to laugh and ignore the loss, since he can just spawn new ones at will using sand. XD
...
Huh... Maybe someday I'll think of a way to have David transcend humanity and turn himself into a being of sand instead. That'd be fun. (Basically Crocodile. XD)

Those were over the potency of what I could do.
And if someone would have told me I could have used it, I might have. But as it stood, I wouldn't have been able to position Laxus in a manner to make him in immediate danger. I'd have been shooting lightning bolts at him, not using metal in order to block a technique, or deflect him attacking Laxus. sweatdrop I'm not good enough to have made him in an acceptable situation for me.
I'd make him have a reason. Maybe a Tremor worm pops out of the sand. >.>

( Hitman calls it Piano wire, but Garrote wire is MUCH more evil. twisted ) It is known that Garrote wire has the tendency to cut through skin if used with enough pressure. It can even go through bone if you're strong enough. Walter C. Dornez is the butler to the Helsing family, and an ex-vampire hunter in the Hellsing series. His main fighting style is using Garrote wire in a manipulation like style to wrap his opponent, and before they notice, rend them to tiny bits. ( Naturally that level of manipulating would take an S rank shinobi, but using it like he does in a pinch, where he simply wraps and pulls with his normal strength would be quite simple, and would suffice for my needs up to B rank. ( Which would be mostly manipulation at the beginning, rather than nice bloody guts spilling techniques. )

Well, I had my reservations on using Razor wire, since it literally has Razors on it, while Ninja wire or Garrote wire is just extremely thin, but made out of heavy hard ductile metals. But I'll use those now. ^>^
