She clapped her hands, jumping excitedly. "Alrighty! I'll get on it right away! This'll be fun!" She grinned, laughing brightly. "So how've you been, Spir'?"

He looked down towards his feet, nearly smiling as a result to her cheer. It was hard not to.. "Thanks..." He lifted his head after the question, "Um, I've been okay.. Kind've bored lately, but I went turtle hunting with a.. Friend the other day... How about you?"

Ah, morning; a glorious time of day indeed, when everything was waking up, full of energy and enthusiasm.
Well, it might be glorious some of the time, but it certainly wasn't now, not for Kaja, at least. The demon kinder sat with a set scowl on her face in a remarkably uncomfortable chair in the secretary's office, waiting until she got called in to see the principal for 'unclarified and non-permissable animal possession'. Definitly not a good morning, to put it mildly.

She shrugged idly. "Meh, I've been alright, planning on doin' a questy thing with m'friend, Marfa. Not sure what we're doin' yet, but it's bound to be fun, right?" She smiled brightly, before seeing the girl from the other day sitting in the main office as they walked by. Skipping over to the window, she pressed her face agaisnt it, grinning and waving.

Kaja simply stared at the girl, giving her a bit of a return wave, but not really able to bring herself to grin or wave very hard. No, she was too upset...and irritated. Stupid Robina Blakely, her and her smug prissy-girl girl clothes and her smug prissy-girl attitude. Kaja had never liked the girl, and now she really didn't; somehow, she'd learned about Oliver, and she'd even told Mr. Appal that he'd bit her! Stupid lying girls; if anything happned to Oliver, then so help her...yes, not happy at all.

Seeing the unenthusiastic wave, Aquia quickly tugged Spiro with her into the office, hopping over to Kaja. "What's wrong? Oh, 'n I'm Aqua, we met yesterday, but I dun think we got each other's names."

The boy found himself being dragged into the office, blinking once or twice before offering a wave to Kaja. "Hey..." He tucked them back in his pockets, deciding to allow Aqua to do the talking for now. He wasn't so good at the consoling stuff, or trying to be helpful... Or any of that. Even though he wanted to.

Kaja wriggled a little bit in her chair; man, these things were uncomfortable! They really needed new chairs in here.. "Hi." She didn't feel particularly vocal, at the moment; she'd introduce herself later, she supposed, but right now, she was too upset. "I'm upset 'cause I got sent to the principal's office, and because of some stupid girl, they're gonna try to take Oliver! And he didn't bite anybody or anything." She scowled fiercely, as though daring anyone to suggest it; at the same time, she protectively hugged her pouch closer. Mr. Appal had already tried to take Oliver away, after all, and no one was going to do that.

She cocked her head to the side, holding her arms behind her back, her face full of curiousity. "Oliver? Whose Oliver?" She turned to Spiro, wondering if he maybe knew.

The boy took on a look of pure shock, "They're taking Oliver?" He frowned now, brows furrowing as he tried to think up some sort of solution to their problem. Normally he would have let it go, but he knew what it was like to have a close animal friend. "Her turtle." He moved forward immediately, lowering his voice slightly, "I can take Oli with me, out of the office atleast. I can hold him for you for a little bit, until you get out of here... We can hide him or something.." He fidgetted slightly, feeling a bit nervous at such a bold move on his part. Normally he wouldn't have done something like this, or offer to do so.

Kaja scowled even more. "A stupid girl in my art class saw him, and she said he bit her. And Mr. Appal said that animals aren't allowed, and especially not dangerous animals, so he was gonna take him. But I wouldn't let him, so he sent me to see the principal so that he could take Oli away." She gripped the edge of the chair, her posture rigid; obviously she'd be willing to fight for her (not dangerous) turtle. But at Spiro's suggestion, common sense prevailed. That might work, actually...and she could figure out what to do later. Especially what she'd do to Robina Blakely.
"That would be great, Spiro; then I can just tell the principal that...I put him outside already or something." She lowered her voice as well, glancing in the direction of the secretary; but the lady wasn't paying attention. Good. "Here" She slipped the small tote off of her shoulder, passing it to Spiro. "And here are some worms, in case he gets fidgety."

Aqua jumped up and down suddenly, her hair flouncing. "OH! OH! He's a turtle, an' turtles like water, right? Hide 'im in me!" She grinned broadly, even though she didn't expect them to know what she meant.

The boy found himself frowning at the story... The kids at school were odd- well, most of them. He liked the ones he was with right now. He took the stuff hastily, tucking the tote under one arm, right ontop his messenger bag. He shifted uncertainly, drawing in a deep breath and glancing around. Hopefully none of the other kids, or the teachers would recognise it. He would have to do a little work, but he didn't mind. He was protecting an animal friend, it was worth it. He turned his attention to Aqua at her outburst, brows raised, lips pressed into a thin line....
Well, now he was confused. No one had ever told him to hide something IN them before. This was... Definitely... New. And he had no idea how to respond.

She giggled at Spiro's face, grinning broadly. "I'm madea water! Y'know how I'm blue'n stuff? Yeah, I'm water. I can turn all liquidy an' junk, an' turtles like water, right? So put Oli in me!" She explained this as if it were very simple.

Kaja looked at Aqua curiously, trying to figure out what she meant. Then when she finally realized what the other girl was talking about, she became even more puzzled. "Put him in you? Wouldn't he just...fall out?" That could be dangerous. Turtles didn't fall and stay together well...
Oliver poked his nose out of the bag, confused as to why he wasn't with Kaja; the turtle gently poked at the messenger bag with his nose, then gently chomped on Spiro's shirt experimentally. Tasted ok...
