All hell just broke loose. “We have to leave, now.” He said to Luxury. The legendaries would do the job of destroying the place. He grabbed her hand and started back for the entrance.

Swift Wing attempted to navigate the air with the sudden flurry of pokemon attacks in every direction. What happened? He tried to spot his human below him, and got clipped by some shrapnel throwing his flight off a moment. Flapping his strong wings he flew higher.

When the lucaio burst into tears, Shade left him alone, it was not a moment to intrude upon. Then suddenly pokemon were unleashed and started firing attacks in every direction. Shade flew off to his human and blocked one side of him, planning to protect him from being hurt. Unfortunately his presence did not help as much as he hoped for because a few large chunks of cement came flying from the ceiling and landed right behind them, the force from the impact of hitting the walkway flinging Agent and Luxury across the room to hit a the wall near the entrance.

Shade was also tossed a few feed into the air and let out a surprised cry, which alerted Swift Wing, and the pidgeot spotted his human against the wall. He landed by the fallen pair, and spread his wings as cover for them, and looked down at the fallen pair. Something was wrong. The human, usually full of energy even at the worst of times, wasn’t getting up.

The bleeding seemed to be subsiding enough to stabilize her condition, but Nyx had already lost consciousness. Aila breathed a sigh and backed away as other Rockets flanked the elite, taking the dutiful Spinarak into her arms when he had completed his task. She surveyed the chaos quickly in an effort to pinpoint and address the more serious injuries; she was unarmed and unskilled in physical combat, but basic first aid was something she could handle. However, if the Legendaries had been released, that meant they had finished what they'd come to do. It was time to pull themselves together and get out before the tides were turned - and they were already fighting the current. Noting one missing from her head-count, Aila pointedly searched for her recruit. She wasn't about to leave him after the speech she'd made the other day.

There was a great deal of crackling and static on the other end of the communicator Faleen had spoken into. It was a good couple of minutes before there was a response, and when it came, the speaker sounded distant and dazed. His voice broke up almost inaudiably at times, the static continuing to punctuate the words, but enough seemed to come through to be comprehensible.

"...Fine, I'm - Galactics - on the catwalk...Mairu - be down soon..."

With a short cry, Chora flew off the human and crumpled to the floor. So much pain... so much ringing... so much... so much nothing. Her eyes were wide open, and she couldn't see anything. Her ... her side? Her... back? Something hurt. Something stung, oh Arceus it stung. Chora tried to paw at her eyes -why were they not working??? Wait... Why were her paws not working??? For a second, all she could do was lay there, tears pouring from unseeing eyes. A tint of red, then nothing. Nothing at all.

If it hadn't been for the cry, Luxury would never have looked over. She'd never have seen the purple and silver cat fall. She'd never know Chora had been shot. "NO!" She screamed, turning to rush for her baby. Then everything got quiet... and then everything got chaotic. Legendaries were everywhere. Attacks were everywhere. Fury and fire and water and lightning... And chunks of rock were falling. Oh. Crap. Just as she pulled out Chora's ball, Panther grabbed her and pulled her to the entrance. Yes, they had to get out of there, quick! In a second her pokemon had been recalled, Chora would be taken care of later when there was a chance, but if they didn't get out NOW there wouldn't be a later.

Halfway back to the entrance, Shade joined the two - and quickly after so did a falling chunk of ceiling. One moment they were on their feet, the next the air force of the chunk had them flying, and right after that things went black. For a moment, Luxury's ears were ringing, and then pain. So much pain.

Agent Panther had hit the wall, she had hit him. Somewhere in the midst of it her ankle had snapped in two.

After what seemed like years, vision returned to Luxury's eyes, and the sounds of chaos replaced the ringing in her ears. Her ankle... Biting back a scream of pain as the feeling rushed back to her, the grunt pulled the clasps on her boots tighter in an effort to stabilize it at the moment, and turned to Panther.

He wasn't moving. Oh s**t. He wasn't moving! "Panther!" She gasped, pulling herself to him. Vaguely she noticed wings over the both of them, and was happy to see Swift Wing when she looked up. She smiled quickly, and then focused on the Agent. Shitshitshitshit. "Panther! Panther, wake up!" Not good... She ran her hands over his body, not seeing any bone and knowing he was hurt inside. Gently, she put her ear to his chest... Still beating, still breathing, but something was wrong with him. The breathing sounded off, somehow. Gingerly, she ran her fingers over each and every rib with a sinking feeling.

Rocket Agent Faleen

PostPosted: Fri Nov 11, 2011 8:31 pm

Had Faleen even known that one of the Galactics had fallen, and died in the few moments between the shot, she still probably would not have reacted, her priority was on her team along with the sudden rumbling and degrading noises of the facility around them.
Attacks were still showering from all Pokemon in the room, but the most devastating seemed to happen as Faleen got the very distinct idea that the Legendary were not released.

There was a moment, when Faleen straightened herself up, fingertips sliding off of the floor as the brought her balance back to just her legs, everything was trembling, but not with the calm pulsing that it once had in its life, this trembled with pain, and creaked as things pieces started to fall around them.
Her eyes found the machine, and she watched with a moment... just a moment of still silence.
It was a shame... really,
This was what ran through her mind in those moments she allowed herself, watching this machine... this impossibility, this beautiful creation.
In another life, this might have been something more spectacular then what it was going to be reduced to, the potential, what it could have taught, what she could have learned from it.
But that was not this life, and this was the last she would get to see of it, though the impact of its creation, and its inspiration would not leave her so quickly.

Faleen knew she would never be able to build something like this, never come even close.
But this was going to only drive her to do the best she could, for Rocket.

Moment was up though, And Faleen was faced with the situation again.
They did it!
Faleen couldn't help but smile, reaching up to call her Pokemon back to her, recalling Sharpedo and Fainted Charizard, jerking out of the way when a fallen piece of rubble falls way to close to her head and she feels the sharp edges scratch the side of her face.
This cause her to stagger back closer to Nyx.
Objective seemed to have been met, it was time to get out of there before this place fell down on top of them.
Catching her footing again, she looked up to where Izaya was when she heard his voice respond to her, only it wasn't the same kind of voice she had heard from him moments ago, this drew a frown from the Agent.
"That doesn't sound convincing, Nakura, you can't be down soon, you need to get down now!" She had to speak louder over the noises of destruction around them.
Faleen knew she could not be able to get up there.
Reaching out to grab a fist full of her Zoroark's fur to her the shiny pokemon's attention.
"Get up there and make sure to cover him!"

Zoroark blinked, but she obeyed, leaping away from her master easily, scrambleing and jumping off the sides to get to the level the human was on.
Her eyes drifted over him, seeing, and getting a nose full of the smell of blood.
Her eyes then drifted around to locate each of his pokemon out to point them out to Faleen, and Banette.

All of Tambrey's pokemon were getting hit so hard!
But at least they weren't getting shot! She winced at that, perhaps just slightly more affected than when the gun had been firing at humans. It just seemed... bizarrely unfair to turn the gun on a pokemon.
Ella was knocked off course and even rolled over by the close combat from the Gallade.
Not only did it surprise the armoured little pokemon, but it made Tambrey's eyes widen as well... Ella wasn't too experienced, sure, but she was a tough little pokemon and seeing her knocked aside quite so easily came as a bit of a shock.
As she fainted Tambrey recalled her with a really apologetic look for the pokeball as it went back to her belt.
The arrival of Palu and Neph was welcome at this point, though right off, Tambrey could see that the little spider was fainted.
Tambrey returned Neph to the ball and offered a quick pat to Palu; it was more a reassurance for herself than for the bird. She was running on adrenaline right now- she was pretty sure that a lot of her hurt at the moment, but she wasn't quite registering it as she tried to look for Lasi, just as the legendary pokemon started to rampage and things began to collapse.
"Well.. Frak this."
The job was stop the machine, right? That was probably more or less done. So now the job should be... get everybody out.
Where was Lasi?
She spotted the former retreating from an angry, buzzing Volcarona.
At least the pink bat was sensible enough to realise that falling buildings meant an end to battling... She waved to get his attention.
Palu and he could stay out; she might need flying pokemon at any minute in something like this.
"We need to get out of here and regroup with the others." She told her two flying types. "I may need you to... help."
She winced and then 'dashed' toward the majority of Rockets.
She was also mindful that debris was falling, dangerous pokemon were everywhere and team mates more seriously wounded from herself might need help.
These might be serious obstacles to getting out...
She thought about sending one of the flying types to pick up Chora, but a glance that way showed that the cat had been recalled, thankfully.
That was good... They had to get out and that was one less thing to worry about.
There was plenty to actually worry about.
Like the situation that Panther and Luxury were now in.
Tambrey changed her course to go toward them.
"We need to be getting out of here..." Accompanied with wide eyes was the best way she could currently phrase 'hi, need help?'.

Everything was falling apart. Literally. He wanted to finish off Tethys, but amidst the chaos, he'd lost where she had gone. He gave up, for now. They didn't matter. What did matter was getting out. All of them. He turned towards the door where the others were. He saw Aila and Faleen beside the fallen Nyx. He waded through the sea of chaos towards the door. The debris falling made it difficult to get there, but he had. He dropped down beside the women. "How is she?" He couldn't help but check her over. The patchwork done on her was impressively sufficient. He looked around, Aila was searching for something. And he noticed Sierra. He spotted her leg and winced. "Can you stand?" He asked her, sliding his arms gently under Nyx to lift her up.

He was thankful for Maxwell acting as a shield. As the concrete that had nearly taken out Panther and Luxury fell, debris fell around them. Some chunks of concrete and metal hit Mau, but nothing he couldn't shake off. He'd be purple come tomorrow though, he knew. He looked at Faleen. "Are you alright?"

As he spoke, Ire and Aki came running over. Ire looked worriedly up at the humans before bounding out and yipping at them. Why were humans taking so long?

Aki nudged Sierra to try and encourage her to stand. She could use him as support, if she needed to. Being as gentle and fast as he could, Mau picked Nyx up and carried her out of the collapsing Machine.

On the-- Above them? Aila turned her eyes upward and found the Rocket she was seeking. Soundlessly she mouthed his name and started in his general direction; the quality of his words didn't speak well of his condition, and there was only one way down from where he was.

Celty, realizing the Megahorn had been more powerful than she'd anticipated, started to wilt as the heat of the high-level Volcarona beat down on her. She fainted where she was, sinking back into her Odd Keystone.

Meanwhile, Izaya watched the Galactics. It wasn't until he heard the clatter of his switchblade and the sound of Faleen's voice on his communicator that he snapped to attention. Quickly responding to her, he scanned the walkway for Celty, noticed her keystone, and quickly called her back. She'd done more than enough for the day.

Upon recalling that he'd thrown his switchblade, Izaya suddenly realized how far his target had really been, even as it swam before his eyes. It was really getting difficult for him to judge distance, but he had to get back down to the others, and fast. One of the Rockets had finally gotten to the main computer and the legendaries were loose.

Grunting as he turned his head to look down at the walkway directly beneath the catwalk he was on, the parkour-user forced himself over the railing, fully intending to land on his feet. Only - he'd lost more blood than he thought. WHAM. The ground came up to meet him faster than he'd anticipated.

"Izaya--" If she hadn't pinpointed his location before, it would be hard to miss it when he suddenly fell from above and--

A fleetingly distraught expression crossed her features, and she quickly moved to the fallen Rocket. As suspected, he was wounded. As suspected, she had been aware of how it happened. "..." She refrained from commenting, unsure of what to say, settling instead on action, "Here." With a brief word, the Spinarak quickly began to spin his silk into a bandage. Stopping the bleeding was the first concern; after that she could concern herself with getting out.

The twisted, broken figure on the ground grimaced as he moved to see the person that had come to his side. Fortunately, it was a Rocket. Unfortunately, it was Aila. "What are you doing here?" he gasped, glaring up at her before his face contorted in pain. "Get out! I'm fine!"

Khalon moved to help Marle, while Layla crossed to Celeste. After checking on their teammates, the Eeveelutions, being in only slightly better shape, helped them put out any smoldering fur and feathers, then assisted them in getting back to Sierra. Marle insisted on aiming a weak kick at the Flareon's fallen form as they passed, making a face.

They had more important concerns, however, when they got back. A pool of blood had formed from their trainer's leg, and the other Rockets seemed more concerned with Nyx. It was understandable, as she was more seriously injured, but her Pokemon didn't necessarily see it that way. Well, at least one asked if she was okay...and Aki was willing to help as well. Panting slightly, still trying to manage the pain radiating from her torn calf, Sierra looked up and smiled weakly at them. She was struggling against shock, and somewhere in the back of her mind, she was aware of it. Something kept telling her to stay alert, hold on, help would come.

Her Pokemon were a welcome sight.

Khalon rushed forwards, looking at her leg, then up at her face, then down at her leg again. The bleeding; had to stop the bleeding. But how? Sierra seemed a bit out of it, but maybe he could keep her moving, paying attention. He'd need her help...to help her. He grabbed ahold of her Galactic uniform sleeve at her wrist, tugging at the material. Sierra stared at him puzzled for a bit, then back at her leg and blinked. "Oh." It was a simple statement, but she got it now. Holding her uniform at the shoulder, she attempted to pull in the other direction. Catching on, Layla stepped in to bite the material at the shoulder to help tear it.

It took some effort, but soon the sleeve tore free of the uniform. They went to work on the other one next, soon leaving Sierra in a modified sleeveless version of her disguise. Struggling to focus, she took the sleeves, tied one end to the other sleeve end, then wrapped the long strip of fabric tightly around her leg, above the wound and just below her knee. She pulled the cloth as tightly as she was able before tying it off. It was all she could do to help for now. They needed to move.

Finally, she nodded, acknowledging Mau's question and Aki's offer of help. "I think so...I'm about to find out," she muttered, shaking her head. She tried to pull herself up, grunting softly at the pain that shot up her leg. Ignore it, no time for weakness now. She didn't want to die here.

The building was collapsing and the Legendaries raging. No wasting time. She recalled Celeste and Marle, her worst hurt, leaving Khalon and Layla out to assist as needed. Between Khalon and Aki's help, she managed to drag herself to a semi-upright position. This would not be pleasant. Wincing with each step, she tried to run/hobble/walk towards the exit with all the speed she could muster.

She felt like passing out.

Entei launched a wave of relentless eruptions of powerful flame at the wall until finally it exploded, in a shower of large concrete chunks, revealing the outer-wall behind it. The wall started to crack under the intense heat and force of the attacks launched at it, and finally began to crumble, letting little slivers of sunlight into the room.

Flames licked across the entire span of the room's ceiling as Ho-oh's Sacred Flame unleashed its fury. The immense heat caused steel beams to become superheated and begin to warp. This caused the ceiling to buckle due to its tremendous weight now that its supports were weakening. Cracks and pops sounded from above, just as large hunks of concrete, steel, and other materials began to fall, raining on those below. Ho-oh hovered in the midst of this destruction, wings spread and a cry of rage peeling from its throat. As the roof started to break apart, rays of sunlight started to filter through and hit the sparkling bird of legend, causing rainbows to form in several directions. It was a beautiful and yet terrible display.

Through one such rainbow, a unicorn-like Pokemon came galloping, its expression twisted in a look of righteous indignation. Having battered a nearby wall, it gave up on that and instead came charging across the walkways towards the fleeing Rockets. It didn't appear to have any intent to slow down, and would either trample those in its way or douse them with a Hydro Pump that it now fired. In Keldeo's mind, everyone here was an enemy.

With his trainer now dead, Bandit's grief turned to blind rage. The Lucario snarled angrily, turning his sights on the fleeing Rockets... and one in particular. With a battle cry, the fighting Pokemon dashed away from the Galactics and went in pursuit of Mau. The Pokemon dodging falling debris and leaping across catwalks in pursuit of his target. With another long leap, he came down towards the one who had killed his friend, swinging a spiked fist in a vicious attack at the human, Extremespeed.

Orion's Heracross, stunned and paniced at the death of its trainer, began to lift off from the catwalk it had been on. However, it didn't get very far as a piece of ceiling came down and crushed him in a sickening crunch.

Despite how the Entei and Suicune had seemed to pair up for the initial attack, the Suicune branched off on its own path. It let out cry before it then unleashed a reckless Blizzard attack towards the machinery it had been trapped in for so long. Harsh wind, sharp ice crystals, and cold snow whipped at the orbs that had imprisoned all of the legendaries. The bubbles were made of a very durable material, so rather than shattering as it wanted, all of its attacks were ricocheted off to hit any who might have been close by.

Interrupting whatever response Aila had for Izaya, a furious little "SHAY!!" erupted nearby. Andre scrambled out of the cords littering the floor, leaped and landed on the edge of the metal walkway, barring his teeth. He looked as livid as a shaymin could possibly look. Tiny features contorted into an expression of rage and hatred that would look more appropriate on a gyarados than the little grass-type. "SHAYMIN!!!" He shouted in his very best battle cry before darting forward, pink flowers turning dark purple. The devastating Seed Flare that followed was probably no surprise. The spot the little hedgehog occupied was reduced to a massive hole. Shards of what had once been walkway fired in all directions.

Pain had exploded though his body, he couldn’t breath couldn’t think . He tried to take a breath, and only managed a half gasp, and then another that caused more pain to shoot through his chest. He was suffocating, unable to get air in. His frame wouldn’t move until a hand touched him and he gasped, air coming back to his lungs. And it hurt. He was ok. The next breath told it he wasn’t, pain shot through the left side of his chest where he had hit the wall air catching inside. He was lucky, he had the ability to move his face out of the way before impact. And had managed to keep from a face plant. That would have been worst. At the moment he wasn’t thinking about that, he wasn’t thinking about anything except pain. Hands touched his ribs and he gasped again, black shooting across his eyes as those hands touched something that felt wrong.

Blood rushed to his ears and he tried to look at the person beside him. The world came back to him, they were on a mission, Luxury was next to him when they were tossed into the air. The million years of flying and then thunk thunk. That’s what happened. Something was definitely broke. Endorphins flooded his system, calming the pain.

A shaky hand moved to underneath him. They had to go. Feathers touched his cheek and coo from above alerted him to Swift wing. Strange the bird was, encouraging him? He tried pull his feet under him but only managed to get to sitting, pain wrapping around his chest. Breathing came in short gasps. “I’m… I’m ok.” It wasn’t true, he was not ok. But they couldn’t focus on that at the moment, not yet. Another cry from the building confirmed that. Being in a building with angry legendaries was bad, very bad.

Another explosion rocked the building and Swift Wing pulled his body close to the humans, wings acting as a barrier reducing the worst of the shrapnel. A particularly large piece strung his cheek and another cut open his shoulder. He let out a soft cry of pain.

Shade who was unaffected by the shrapnel, but blown up against the wall, looked up in a panic, as the Keldo came too close, and very angry. His human had to get up now. “Gengar gen.” he tugged at Panther and Luxury's cloths, voice insistent. There was no time, they had to go.

User ImageUser Image With everything going to hell quite quickly, the order she needed to give for any slower Rockets was the obvious one.

"Rockets, assist the injured and get out of Installation 01! This is your top priority right now! If you have any psychic Pokemon or Pokemon in general who are strong enough to carry a person, use them!"

The Mewtwo in the mean time had been hovering about the small Elite, trying to prevent its owner from getting hit by any of the debris. However, there was only so much it could do. The moment the Suicune unleashed its most recent attack to The Machine, it sent ice shards bouncing off of its target and flying in all sorts of directions. It was more than it could shield against.

It felt as if 100 small frozen daggers had all been thrown at her at once with cold whipping winds there to push right through her. Her disguise was practically shredded within seconds, and the lenses to her disguise's glasses actually shattered on the left lens, and the right lens merely cracked. She was bleeding all over, though the largest collection of blood was still from the shoulder she had been shot in prior. Her body was absolutely chilled to the bone, but that was the least of her concerns now. The Rockets needed to get out. Now.

Her body trembled weakly as she attempted to fight off unconsciousness. Unconscious won. Her body drooped in the Mewtwo's psychic hold.

The green Mewtwo also had been hit by a decent amount of the ice, but it had the advantage of being able to Recover. Its green eyes narrowed slightly at the unconscious girl before it lifted her up and towards it. It placed its arms under her body then pulled her up close to its chest.

The Mewtwo lashed its tail before moving to follow the orders that had been given.

If he could have cursed, Aki would have. His human was in danger with that Lucario. But he had a mission right now. Sierra. Get her safe. One task at a time. He was no help.

Ire growled at the Lucario and with a quick attack, attempted to intercept the attacks with teeth bared. But there was a closer pokemon then Ire. The tank-like aggron was still shielding her trainer from harm. With the approaching Lucario she turned about with a dragon claw. "Thanks Maxwell." He said to the pokemon as his steps quickened to get Nyx out of there.

Closing in on the Yanmega, Mau glanced about. Where had that damn chimecho gone? Uta had left when Nyx was taken care of, but he had come out of the transport with flailing little arms. "Uta, get Mai and let her out." The chimecho drooped, being less then useful. "NOW!" Yeep. Uta obeyed. The orange blossomed Venusaur was released. "Mau, use your vines to help everyone inside."

Izaya was jumping down on his own accord, Zoroark clambered on all fours to where he had jumped off, golden eyes widening with a slight flinch when he landed hard... and painfully.
Another human was approaching one, her ears fanned forward when she recognized the younger Rocket.
Aila.
Faleen was going to be mad at her for letting Izaya jump off, Zoroark thought.

From somewhere next to her, there was movement, Zoroark snapped her head around, opening her jaws with a snarl and jumping back to get ready for her own attack when the Heracross started to take off of the platform it shared with her.
He wasn't there for long though, becasue a second later a huge block of ceiling took up the space the fighting bug type was in. her ears flattening back with the sound of the pokemon's life being crushed... crackled, and squashed away.
Zoroark stood, blinking at the mass for a few moments, before she gave a slight shudder, the huge mass of hair down her back prickling impressively before she smoothed it down and hopped to the ground.

They needed to be out of this place... like NOW!
Faleen watched, Izaya jumped, and hit the ground, this startled her, not sure what he was thinking, and was going to go over, but Aila seemed to handle it.
At the same time Mau was getting Nyx, along with Nyx's Maxwell.

Faleen could tell that Sierra was struggling to move, so she reached out to get a hold of her, trying to help get her out quickly.
Right now it was just, grab and go, this place was not going to last much longer.

((combined post))

Oh thank Arceus. Luxury nearly fainted from relief when the Agent took a breath, and her chest grew tight when her hands touching his chest earned a gasp. Oh crap. His ribs. He'd broken his ribs.

She tried to help him sit up, and in the next instant there was ice and shrapnel everywhere, some of it slicing through Swift Wing's feathers and cutting up her face and arms. None of it hurt nearly as bad as her ankle.

In the next instant Shade was being quite insistent and Kunai was using the last of her energy to tell them to scram. "Nioshii!" Luxury released the giant dog. "We need to get out of here, think you can carry us both?" She earned a nod, and turned to Panther. "Can you stand?" Worried eyes flickered between him and his Pidgeot. After that blast... He couldn't be in good shape.

"I can get up there." he slowly stood to his feet, using the pidgeot's feathers as a support. He was shaking just a little, just enough to notice but he looked at her, trying to focus. His free hand grasped at his chest, crinkling the cloth, but not putting pressure. There was still a hitch with his every intake of breath.

"Good." Luxury, on the other hand, was struggling more to stand. Nioshii reached down and hauled her up with his teeth, holding her and crouching down for the Agent. They had to hurry.

Panther looked at the pokemon, still feeling a little shakey.  He swung a leg over his side and pulled a pokeball from his hand, returning shade and Swiftwing.  somewhere in the back of his mind he felt he should help the others, but as he jerked a litte, taking his position on the dog, pain swam before his eyes.  this wasn't the time to be playing hero.

After the Agent was in place, Nioshii swung Luxury up on his back behind him, earning a gasp and glare since he had bumped her leg. Oops. "Go." The grunt ordered through gritted teeth, hands gripping Panther's hips and knees gripping the Arcanine. Without another word or nod of acknowledgment, disaster and destruction on his heels, Nioshii made a run for it.
