Amrita's bloodied, backwards hands lifted heavy as lead to grip Johans arms. It was weak at best, but she needed his help more than anything right now. Before she could even ask him to get her pill for her, she felt something being put into her mouth, and instead she just gaped stupidly as he hazy mind tried to comprehend what was going on.
She understood what it was when she accidentally swallowed it, and instantly felt the pill's FEAR begin to work it's magic, building up her shield and mending some of her minor wounds. Some things couldn't be healed due to the body itself being damaged beyond repair, but on the whole? Her limbs were lighter. Her head was clearer. She was alert and awake...and she felt on top of the world.
The mending was complete, and Amrita heaved the heavy sigh she didn't realize she'd been holding. Oh, she felt so much better. So much better. "...Johan." Her single grey eye turned towards Johan, and the poor boil would find bloodied and cut patchwork arms thrown about his neck and shoulders (even though one had a strange bend to it; it was still kind-of broken), pulling him down for an overly joyous hug. "THANK YOU! Oh jack thank you, thank you, thank you!"
In fact, she was so thankful she couldn't stop herself from pressing a kiss to his cheek. If you could even call it that, since she seemed to be missing half of her mouth.

Surprised by Marcus' attack, Aksaja was knocked back onto his a** by the hit, already snarling curses even as he scrambled backwards a few feet before trying to get back up to his feet. He could tell that he was getting pretty hurt here, but the lightning dragon wasn't the type to just give up.
"Why would I wanna rethink that? You are babies. Crying to your daddy to come and save you until he takes out the big bad over on our side. Oh but it looks like your own trump card there is getting his a** kicked too. What'll you do when he's gone?"(( HP: 22 ))

Cass grinned.
"Then why did we win, mm? Why did she work against you?" she taunted further. Oh, this was delicious. She loved it. She didn't even look about the field to see what was happening. Was Marcus here? Had he seen it all? Oh, it riled her up something fierce and she'd probably be up for days out of excitement.
Though there were still questions in her head...
Cass's HP: 38
Her attack stopped when the first weapon struck her, seeming perplexed for a moment. Then another one struck, prompting another face of confusion in the pricolici.
When Leon's blade hit her back, if an inhuman sound was required in response, Shehk had one, her own inhumane bellow piercing louder than it had before. It cut through both of the coats she wore and her flesh, it drew blood and she cried out, turning from her assault to turn her glowing eyes upon the hunter who assaulted her.
"Hngh. You think highly of yourself, boil." she grinned, the blood from her temple drying in mats in her hair and down her face, a twisted grin forming on her face to show off all four of her long sharp canines. "Are you asking me to dance?" she inquired, her head tilting to one side until it almost looked broken, the glow in her eyes dimming and then growing in brightness in a repetitive fashion.
She stepped away from the group to turn to Leon and Ennéa, approaching them with a sort of casual saunter, speaking in an almost taunting manner.
"Bark......" blood began to drip out of her mouth and down her chin.
"Bark..." Fog billowed from her nose and between her teeth...
"Bark....." the seam in her face began to ooze a clear liquid from it. Well, if nothing else, she had a..strange body going for her.
Shehk's HP: 34 - 16 (holy s**t) = 18

The weapon did nothing as it was kicked. It did not flash brightly in irritation or hum an insult. It was nothing more than a scrap of magically glowing metal that bounced and loudly clattered from rock to rock as it fell into the dark canyon, swiftly disappearing from sight. Each successive bounce and ping echoed up from the dark depths as it descended, the sound becoming fainter and fainter. It was lost to both sight and sound, the glow swallowed up by the inky darkness. Nobody saw the bright flash of light as the weapon broke. It shattered into metal shrapnel, scattering. Each piece seemed to slow mid-air as it hit an invisible barrier, breaking into small dust-like particles that swooped up and around. The weapon was gone, lost in the explosion. It was now that both hunters and students alike could hear it: the distant rumble, the slight tremble in the ground. Something was coming. From the dark abyss that the weapon was kicked off into came the rumble as a massive BOOM. A tower of blue flame erupted from the abyss, the bright glow dimming and turning black as thick smoke billowed in from the resulting explosion. The nets entrapping the remaining students began to smolder, peeling away and turning into ash. They were free of their bonds! There was another tremor, a second rumble as something large and heavy landed on the edge of the landing they were all gathered on. The smoke cleared, taking with it the last traces of darkness. The sky above had steadily been growing brighter with every passing moment. Now the comforts of night had vanished, replaced with the dour gloom of daylight. And with it their colossal visitor was revealed. The sun has risen. The twenty to thirty foot tall creature half-stood, half-knelt on the battlefield as it stared with unblinking eyes that held the same glow as the weapon; the weapon that was kicked off the same ledge mere minutes ago. But the scent the creature had belonged to only one person: Red. Red was back. Red was back. The massive skeletal face slowly turned and focused on Caelius. A deep rumble grew in the creature's throat as it spread its wings, blocking out the morning sun. "You," it, no, Red growled. Red did not say anything more. She opened her skeletal mouth and roared, a jet of blue-fire shooting out towards the Death Hunter. The beam-like stream of fire expanded as it left her mouth, increasing drastically in size. While the core of it was directed at Caelius, the attack had the drawback of having a radius that affected the entire battlefield, affecting everyone on it.Quote: ALL STUDENTS ARE FREE OF THEIR NETS! However... yeeeeah, Red's attack is currently affecting the entire battlefield. FML. Everyone roll a 8-sided dice.1-3: You were badly burned by the attack! -10 HP. 4-6: You managed to avoid most of the attack, but are still pretty badly burned. -5 HP. 7-8: You somehow managed to avoid the attack. Lucky you! IF YOU DIE: please stay in this thread! You may have dissipated, however you are now spirit-like and can still watch the battle... for now. IF YOU ARE STILL ALIVE: stand up and fight! If you target another person, remember to quote them. Battling Red Red is a hybrid of a Traditional and Event boss fight. Sometimes she'll perform an AoE attack, sometimes she will attack one person. What she uses is dependent on what you guys do.Red does not have a large HP pool like a traditional boss. Instead, she has different targetable "parts." Damaging different parts will have different results; it's up to you guys to figure it out! When targetting Red, your modifier may change. For instance, if you're attacking her torso or wings, you subtract the normal six from your dice roll. If you are attacking her legs or tail, then you subtract 4 or 5 depending. Keep in mind that her head, torso, and wings are pretty far off the ground. If you have a melee attack, you cannot target those areas even if you jump. They're simply WAY too high. If you are confused by mechanics, please don't hesitate to ask for specifics here! Targeting Red Red is NOT your traditional boss. Instead of targeting Red, you must target a specific part of Red. Depending on what part you target, it may or may not affect the outcome of the battle... Head: Long ranged attacks only. If throwing a rock, -7 from your total dice. Torso: Long ranged attacks only. If throwing a rock, -6 from your total dice. Wings: Long ranged attacks only. If throwing a rock, -6 from your total dice. Legs: Melee okay! -4 from your attack since it's right in front of you. Tail: Melee okay! -5 from your attack as it's within easy reach. DEATH AND YOU For this boss fight, death works differently: HALLOWEEN: You dissipate, however your Fear does not go anywhere. Instead you are in a spiritual state where you can see and hear what is happening, however you cannot interact. You can see other shapes nearby, swirling about like mist. They're just standing there, watching... Some of you may get a sense of deja vu. Or is it deus vu? HUNTERS: Upon reaching 0, your weapon's Fear shield goes down as usual. If hit beyond 0, your weapon becomes paralyzed with the Insanity. It's dark. Where are you? You can't see anything. You can't hear anything. Where is your weapon? You... You are alone for the first time in many months. Are you... dead? If you are dead and are hit with a heal, you are brought back to life! It feels like slowly waking up, but... you're still rather... cold. It's a noticeable cold that just won't go away, and becomes more and more noticeable the more you die and wake up again.

Shock. Rage. Anger. In all the students expressions. The Death Hunter sneered, letting the attacks graze his weapon.
And when the earth shook and nearly crumbled, when the beast raised its head, roaring, even the combined efforts of all the students paled next compared to the new visitor. Caelius flung himself to the ground just as the flames shot over him. For a second it looked like he evaded the attack entirely, until his right foot landed awkwardly, badly burned by Red - no - the thing's attack. There was a loud ringing in his ears, and for a second, it felt like the entire expanse of the cavern was about to collapse entirely.
And he stared up now, craning his head towards the colossal creature. Even for Fear, it was a mutation, an forced reaction of two things that should have never co-existed, a screaming mess of Fear and Insanity - oh the Insanity was there - that had propagated uncontrollably its rebirth. It was a monstrosity in and out of itself, and as Caelius forced himself standing, watching the thing heave angrily, barely a silver of its old self hanging, his lips curled into an expression of contempt. How the mighty had fallen. Leave the monstrosity to rot in its own grave it created, destroying those it had sought to protect.
"Fall back. "
He said it louder this time. "Hunters, you heard me, retreat."
Upon seeing some of their stunned silence, he tried again. "Fall back, or I'll make you." With that he half-walked half-stumbled towards the closest Hunter, yanking their pendant out of their pocket. He muttered the invocation quickly -
- but nothing happened.
Something was wrong - and as he looked around - attempting to keep balance in syncopation with the thing's echoing footsteps, as the Death Hunter noticed how the weapons were flickering oddly, and even the students dissipating in and out, there was no doubt what exactly was wrong. His scythe hummed and he had no choice but to take a stand, weapon poised defensively.
'Red' was not only just expelling Fear, she was a catalyst for disrupting it. RETURN OF THE BEAST - It is up to you if you want to continue attacking Caelius but it looks like there are bigger things to worry about too. LITERALLY. - Hunters: Nets are now disabled thanks to Red's Insanity/Fear combo. - Please see Marushii's post regarding attacking mechanics for this round, one attack per character per round still applies.

There is... something in the air. Every student and every weapon can feel it. It's like a sudden tap on the shoulder; the sudden jolt that occurs after realizing you nearly fell asleep; the distant sound of something you're familiar with, but can't quiet place. Reality seems to shift slightly, but there is no change. It's just that... something seems.. off.THE OOC Introducing FEAR FLUCTUATIONS. Red's appearance has done more than disabled the Hunter pendants. Her very existence, the abomination of so much Fear and Insanity together has caused Fear itself to fluctuate and act uncontrollably. Every round, a dice will be rolled to determine what effect occurs. Some effects are beneficial; others are not. Known Effects:1: ??? 2: ??? 3: ??? 4: ??? 5: Insanity Spike! The amount of Insanity is currently higher than the amount of Fear in the area! Everyone takes 3 unavoidable damage to be stack on top of the current GM post. 6: ??? 7: ??? 8: ???

Aksaja was about to continue his tirade at Marcus, and probably attack the other, when he was distracted by the noise and fire of Red's return to life. Of course, he had no idea as of yet that that's what, or who, it was. Twisting his head around so quickly that muscles nearly strained and popped, Aksaja's mouth dropped open at the creature that climbed up out of the pit.
What the . . . Jacking hell . . .
As he wasn't the sort of monster to rely on scent, Aksaja still had no idea that it was Red, brought back to life by some odd means. But . . . then it attacked Caelius. And he was telling all the other Hunters to RUN AWAY. Okay, that was good enough for him, it was on their side. Not to mention the thing kind of looked like a dragon (SORT OF) which was just. Awesome. He failed to notice that the fire it spewed was covering the entire battlefield until almost too late, though. As soon as he did notice it, he leapt up into the air, wings beating almost frantically get away from the flames everywhere. But still, a good bit of it managed to hit him anyway. "Jack!!"

A bronze statue would have more give than Johan when Amrita's hands clamped around his arms. However, not wanting to hurt the already severely damaged ghoul, he held still and got a first-hand look as the pill did its work. Cuts mended, Amrita's eyes cleared, and focused on him. Extremely uncomfortable at the contact, but glad to see she was healed, Johan was about to remove himself from her grip, when something happened.
What was happening? His arms were trapped, and his face was buried in black stuff. No, that was hair. And those were... her... arms!DEARJACKSHEWASHUGGINGHIM! Johan's upper half went absolutely rigid, every muscle locking, while his legs frantically scrabbled for purchase enough to pull away from the embrace.
He fell still when Amrita's half-skull of a face loomed closer and closer to his own. The kiss had a dramatic result in the Reaper. While his hands and his face were the only visible parts of his skin, it was clear that he blushed a severe dark red, the color rising till it disappeared beneath his hair line. A puff of steam or two may have escaped from his ears.
For a moment, he was perfectly limp, and then Johan summoned his resolve to push away from the ghoul. Except... she dropped him. Johan looked at her, and found that she wasn't looking at him at all. Amrita looked absolutely petrified, actually. What? Dread creeping up his spine, the flushed Sorcerer slowly turned around, and very nearly came close to screaming himself as the thing that was Red unleashed a devastating attack at the platform.
[Johan's HP: 25-3 = 22 - 10 = 12] ((Owwwwww))
