It had been forever since he had seen Sailor Maia, and already in a state of seething hatred, now was not the best time. He had wiped the floor with her and now, well, now wasn't the best time for them to tango. Of course, he felt this was exactly the type of senshi that needed to be destroyed. He had nearly done so before. Grinning wide, he gripped his chains once more and started to pick up from the return swing and pick up the momentum once more before he shouted at her over the shouts and cries around them. "Well what do we have here? Been a while! How about I pick up from where I left off and finally put you out of everyone's misery."
He threw the weapon out once more, but didn't just throw it at her, he followed after. He wanted to tear her apart limb by limb with his own bare hands. To feel limbs break and to watch her struggle as he ripped her starseed out. It was a strong desire and the bloodlust was intense.

Bugs! Bugs! Raven ghost hid under the road for a few minutes, making a face to herself. She hated bugs! Upon closer inspection, she gave a laugh of glee. The bugs were trying to eat the Senshi! Yes! Good bugs! Good! Bugs good! Hungry bugs. Feast!
The sparkling apparition dove under the road, swimming through the rainbow, rolling around, trying to find a good Senshi to make fall over.
Make them pay. Make them pay.
She raised the road a few inches, then laughed as the senshi fell with a cry, watching as the bugs swarmed around the poor fool. Poor hopeless, stupid, arrogant fool.
If she had been alive, if she had a body, she would have stuck her tongue out at the stupid senshi, but, as she was just a ghost, she twirled around, laughing her ghostly laugh, her mantra resounding in her head.
Make them pay. Make them pay. FINISH THEM! MAKE THEM PAY FOR WHAT THEY'VE DONE!

Eliza had been throwing things at youma and her eyes went wide when the mouth and bugs game out. Not only did they come up a ton of them headed straight for Eliza.
The swarmed her and she screamed trying to bat them away only to be devoured in the process. She joined the ghost world, but that was mostly certainly going to stop her from fight. She would help in anyway possible.

Ganymede let Val fuss over his wound, though there wasn't anything that could be done about it now. He'd almost forgotten about it at this point. The adrenaline was still doing a good job of keeping it from hurting, and the blood had all but dried. He was sure it still looked awful, but for now he didn't care. His only concern was getting them out of this alive.
"Wait, Val!" he called when he pulled away and ran off, though he could still see him nearby, tending to another page. Ganymede remained where he was by Pasiphae, intent on keeping an eye on the both of them while he could.
And then there was buzzing and he was suddenly swarmed by locusts.
What. The. Hell?
He wasn't grossed out. He'd dealt with plenty of bugs before. The only one that had truly ever grossed him out had been one he'd seen at camp, but that had been in the middle of nowhere around a bunch of woods, so that was pretty predictable.
If anything, the locusts were more of a bother, and he did his best to swat them out of the way.
"Damn it, go away you stupid things. Get off me! Ouch!" he winced as one bit him. "Son of a-!"

Head tilting curiously, Felicia stared up at the dragon with curious dread. It was buzzing, an eerie, skin crawling noise that seemed to raise above the continuing chaos. She didn't know what it was, but she knew enough of the battle so far to fear the source, despite the growing numbness that seemed to be shielding her.
Another sound pulled her attention though, and she blinked, as if startled awake, turning to stare at Felix as he called out to her. She hadn't seen him for a while, and certainly not since this battle had begun. It was surprising, but a small part of her had assumed he'd died along with Gilbert and Grant, just not right in front of her eyes. "You're alive." Her voice seemed hollow.
It was odd, but in a way she envied the dead. They didn't have to bare witness to everything that was still happening. Not the rage of the invading army, and not..
Hazel eyes went impossibly wide at the roar and the near solid wall of insects that crashed over them. She screamed, swatting and jerking away, anything and everything she could to keep the things from landing on her, but there were too damn many, and there was no way to protect against the swarm. Worst yet they were biting, and every little stinging pinch had the girl flinching and whimpering.

Pasiphae had not known what to say when Valhalla had first arrived, relief washing over her at the sight of a familiar face. He was alright; he hadn't been lost. Now... if only they could find Europa who had been long lost in the mess of battle... but there was just no time, no time whenever so many were falling around them. She smiled softly at the page when he touched her shoulder, making no comment at all when Ganymede pulled him into a hug. She wondered what had happened to Nyx and began searching the battlefield for her friend, only to see her helping a knight ( Naica) who was being attacked by the Negaverse captain with the paintbrush. Valhalla then went to check on them, leaving the Shame Senshi with Ganymede. Tired. She was so tired... but she couldn't stop, not now. They were just barely holding on... they had to stick together. Especially when a swarm of locusts appeared and she had to begin slapping at the various insects. Never stopped... it never stopped. She doubted even her shield would help her, but she called for it anyway, hoping to keep more insects from getting in, "Pasiphae Shameful Isolation!"

Themis had done his best to try to protect some from the fury of the negaverse - his thorn coat and many bleeding cuts were proof of this.
The locusts were more than eager to use that opportunity, and there was little that Themis could do beside try to get them off, swat them, kill them, something... !!!!
The great one's aid was welcome indeed, and Fluorite was more than happy to keep on her rampage, unhindered by those who tried to stop her so far.
Being on the winning side was a wonderful feeling, even if she wasn't in the state of mind to enjoy it.
Likewise, Alunite continued to go on, delighted in the sheer destruction he was causing. His price, the shining starseed of the page he'd murdered, had been hidden in his obi, safe, safe.

OH s**t. Maybe it was all the blood, but no sooner than Naica had gotten rid of one problem, another arose.
Locusts.

" That was... poorly thought out, maybe," Sailor Nyx thought as Benitoite's blow took the air from her lungs. She was even thankful not to be worth more of his time, because things could have gotten ugly, quickly. As it was, she had time to stagger a bit and gasp as their attacker ran off -- hopefully to someone who stood more of a chance. "Ah," she gasped, a bit startled and still a little breathless when the other odd-senshi-guy spoke. "Yeah... I think so. Well enough, at least." Nyx saw him pinch his nose and bit her lip at the damage done. Another one of them (Valhalla) came to his brother-in-arms' side and she took the opportunity to catch her breath. And then buggy hell broke loose.

“Of course I am,” he responded. It seemed so obvious to Felix, but then he remembered that not everyone that had stepped onto the battlefield would be leaving it as well. Flashes appeared in the back of his mind, just brief glances of fellow civilians like himself dying by the hands of an officer, or perhaps through other means. Death and blood decayed the field, but he had been too blind to notice it until now. The realization made him frown. He had always been observing, been paying attention to his surroundings. Always…until now.
Above the cacophony, there was a buzzing. Felix had ignored it at first, but gradually, as he continued to drudge his way toward Felicia, the sound grew louder. From the dragon’s mouth sprung a swarm of locusts. “Locusts. Lovely,” he grumbled under his breath. The large bugs surrounded him and Felicia, their beady eyes dimly glowing as they bit and stung him. He would have attempted to swat a few bugs away from Felicia, but his attention was entirely focused on the locusts.

Scylla gripped Leto's arm, fiercely, twisting the limb in her grasp. "She was one of us once, Gunn." Her other hand gripped the Dark Mooner's arm with her other hand now, squeezing tight. "I killed. For her. I don't give an eff if she cares. I care." The other senshi's struggles were fierce, her screams piercing. Blood slicked the Dark Moon senshi's arm, slicked the Blood Moon senshi's hand. "We might be blind, but at least we're not slaves." She leaned in, whispering something in Leto's ear. If the other senshi would hear her over her screams, Scylla didn't know. "I'll help you, Leto. I don't know how, but I am going to fix you all." And then the buzzing that she'd been hearing grew louder, and Scylla shrieked as bugs started flying at her.

Cameron joined him, and Veer's expression went affronted, annoyed. Frustration won over fear, made him stretch out his legs to move faster, not quite trotting. He had the lead, goddamnit, and he wasn't going to lose it.
...except fate intervened.
He should have looked where he was going, dropped and covered -- but he was too busy running. The locusts sank down around him before he even had chance to realize, and as they consumed his flesh, Veer cursed his parents for the fact that he was an only child.
If he'd had an older brother, this would never have happened.
He died in pain and anger, knowing that Cameron was going to win thsi round.
