Caitlin nodded, looking at the broom. She looked to Sam as he spoke again. "Okay. Let me see what books we need," She said, nodding to Gracie and took her hand from Sam's only for a few seconds to get the list from her back pack. Once she got it out, Caitlin slipped her hand back into Sam's. She read the list and nodded to herself and put it into her pocket. "Ready?"

I didn't really go to any of the games....brooms tend to be a bit um... hateful to me. My cousins play though. They're really good." Grace shrugged and swung her backpack off of one arm to tug her own list from her bag.

Terren, on the other hand, was as talkative as ever. He skipped merrily, holding Minn's hand, his green eyes filled with glee. "Mummy and Daddy were both Hufflepuff's, and Heather's a Hufflepuff too. I wanna be a Hufflepuff just like them. I don't think I'm brave enough for Gryffindor, or sneaky enough for Slytherin. But maybe Ravenclaw. I don't know yet. I'm only eight." he said to her. Heather smiled at her brother's words. He wants to be like me? A Hufflepuff? Wow. she thought. She turned to Dhylan, still smiling. "I love that little guy sometimes... Your ear still bothering you, Dhyl?" she asked, concerned for her friend's well-being. How would he play Quidditch next year with a deaf ear...? If her cousins got on the team this year, she'd definitely go watch the games, just for them, and she'd be praying the whole way through that she didn't die. She slipped through the door behind Caitlin, twirling her hair on her finger.

Marina came out of Sugarplum's, a bit weighed down by the bags containing her books and her candy. She tripped on the curb, and flailing wildly, tumbled to the ground, her things scattering all over. She made an irritated noise and knelt down, trying to pick everything up. "I knew this couldn't last..." she muttered. Her perfect day had come to an abrupt halt. "Endurance is nobler than strength and has more patience than beauty"

"Mum, I think they heard you," Cersei, annoyed now at her mother for her wild recklessness, but her mother only chuckled under breath as she brushed away Cersei's disheartened frown with a shameless wave of red manicured nails. But they scurried along, drowning into the crowd bustling on the cobblestone streets. Mother and child idled against window shoppes, gushing over newest trends and horrific disasters held up for display.
Time tolled on, and before she knew it, Cersei spotted a fellow second year just meander outside of the candy store. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a bag shot up high in the air and scatter. Without even a word to her mum, Cersei rushed to Marina's side, eager to drop down and help her. "Are you okay? Bit of a nasty spill you took there, but I don't think too many noticed." She mused with a low, raspy voice, a small, genuine, comforting smile alit upon her lips

With: Cersei Marina glanced up at the other girl, an embattled smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "I'm fine." She brushed a stray curl out of her freckled face. "Thanks for the help. It's Cersei, right? I'm Marina, I think we had some classes together last year.." she trailed off, trying to place the other girl's face. She thought she was a Gryffindor but she wasn't quite sure. She began stuffing textbooks back into her bag, pausing when she picked up the book she'd been given as a gift, checking to make sure it hadn't been damaged. She had promised, after all. Both of them were carrying their new kittens and Elli had a bag containg food for the half-kneazles and other accesories the shop owners had deemed nescesarry. Ver yawned and headed towards Ollivanders. She wasn't really paying attention to anything and so she didn't notice Marina and Cersei on the ground until it was to late. "Wah Wooaaah!" She squealed, tripping over one of the girls. Mid fall she rolled so she landed on her back, still clutching the small kitten to her chest safely. Elli Screamed and raced towards her twin and the two older girls. "Oh Gosh! Are you all alright?"
