Yah. He's drifting between I'm Alpha to beta. Though my mad face he goes and hides in his crate and whimpers because I bite him. That was another reason I first wanted him to get fixed was to get rid of the aggression, since my Rotti got rid of his and he's such a pacifist. Though he was so mean when we got the cone of shame.

I wish I had pictures of my dog and cats on my computer, but alas I do not.
My dog is a Shi Tzu, though. Dumb as a pile of mud but very cute.

@Davy: Usually about six months they start to try to find their place within the pack so I would be cautious. I speak from experience since Jaxom is nine months and will be losing his balls at the end of the month. I waited because he has a retained testicle (lolol) and I was hoping it would drop buuuut nope .___. so the surgery is even more expensive /fail. But I've lucked out since his temperament seems to match mine; a lazy surf bum XD But when he was 5-7 months .. dear lord, he was really trying to assert that HE was alpha. But I put him in his place quick by physically showing him his place and reminding him that I was the alpha. I think at that age they just test you to see if you can handle it or if they need to usurp the pecking order. Its in their nature so you can't blame them but you just gotta be a consistent pack leader :3

Yah. He no longer bites me, he used to as a pup and if he growls even once at me he realizes his mistake. But he's making Bantay his b***h. Literally. However, Bantay will take it until he no longer wants to and then reaver comes screeching back to me like. HOLY s**t HE ATTACK ME! sort of thing.

Davy just please be careful with your boy as he ages, especially when he gets near the age of two years old, working with a wolfdog hybrid/wolves (even after taking the trip to the vet~) you still should be prepared for posturing, hierarchy climbing attempts and watch body posture (theirs and yours). I told all this to kij luff to >> i still want to snooglenoogie jax
Alas the only pets that are officially mine are two chinchillas >>

And we're not harping on you at all Davy-- I'm in the same boat with having a low content XD We just want you to be safe is all! heart
Rage has been working with wolves as a volunteer for a while so her knowledge is quite vast- I'm sure if you ever have questions about your boy you could ask her. Most recently she's been working with young wolf cubs that were pulled from a den and brought to where she works so if anyone knows wolf behavior, especially when they're pups, it would be her ;3

Yah, I've studied wolves all my life. And more so hybrids. It is difficult with four dogs in the house though to sorta put things together, but I manage. I do not want him to get put down like the lady who got attacked by her wolf-dogs. Right now he's pouting laying with his head out of his crate looking at me like, I'm bored and tired and other things and I'm sorry I got in trouble. So I'm ignoring him for the most part, just looking at both incase someone decides to pee. Bantay has been doing bad things thanks to my sister's two dogs. He's been breaking rules.

@Davy: I'm sure you're doing everything you can and at the same time are being a great leader for him. He's still a puppy so just keep working at it. I'm positive he won't be put down as long as you just continue training him and keep that he's a wolfdog on the DL-- I have the same issue down here with Jax.
Oooh, that's awesome. I've was fortunate to study wildlife illustration up in Idaho for four years so that was heaven for me. I learned a lot about wolves and had some really neat experiences up there with some sanctuaries :3
I've personally handled a lot of exotic wildlife as well so its fun but wolfdogs have always had a special place in my heart.
@DHS: I know, right? XD -pets Jax-
And speaking of which the big guy is crashed out on my bed, roffle! Sleepy Jax!
