xxx﹙And If I had one wish come true ﹚  When Tennessee looked away from her, his cheeks brushed with scarlet and his demeanor now more conservative and shy, the island state couldn't help but knit her eyebrows together in slight confusion. She turned her left hand around his own, so it was now under his, before she lifted it, covring it with her free, right hand. Squeezing his hand gently between the small sandwich that she had created, she giggled sweetly, yet so subtly that he had to be paying close attention to even notice. "I'm glad you feel the same way brother," She began, continuing to hold his hand for a moment more, giving it yet another reassuring squeeze before she let go of it and returned her hands to her lap once more. When he spoke about her just saying a simple 'yes' to make him happy, she couldn't help but stare at him with a look that was of confusion mixed with overall innocence to his statement. A simple yes? What in Laka's name could that mean? She questioned herself, a breeze blowing through her off-colored hair for a moment, causing her to lift her hands and hold down the wavy locks, so they wouldn't distress her features any more. But as he agreed that he would look out for her too, she couldn't help but smile in return. "That's good to hear, I'm glad we can finally be 'ohana, I hope that I can start calling everyone in the family such eventually." She clarified for him before he questioned her about some songs that she would like to hear. Well, she had just tought him a song of her people, why not hear a song from his state? She looked away from him, down at her feet which had continued to keep kicking back and forth like a child all this time. That was when she drew the connectiong. Gasping softly she then turned back to him, beaming with new-found admiration of the elder state. "Elvis Presley came from Tennessee right?" She asked him before she laughed, already knowing the answer. "Can you play one of his songs please? I absolutely love his music~!" （HawaiianRollarcoasterRide - . . .）

Freshman Charlotte watched the red head create a rainbow, it was pretty and sort of reminded her of someone. "You can use magic?" she asked curiously. The Carolina state got quiet when her sister came up. She was appologizing? Is she one of the ones giving her a hard time? Vaguely remembering the scene at the dance. At least she seems to be in a mood at the moment. She was curious about what happened but she didn't want to bring up while they're were on the process of burring the hatchet. 'I wonder if Leah got my text.' she thought as something just occured to her that caused her to smack her forehead. 'I almost forgot to text Alfred back!' quickly she pulled out her cell and made speedy text, hoping she didn't appear rude. It was annoying to be talking to someone and suddenly fade away into texting on their phone. (Out of Pepsi: )

If I remember right he was born in Mississippi, but he later moved to my place and made it his home so... yeah, you could say that," Tennessee said with a soft blush. He hadn't thought about Elvis in a long time. He had been a good kid and a great musician, but it really was a shame how he had died... The state smiled as he adjusted his guitar and thought over what songs she would probably like to hear. "You know, now that I think about it he used to talk about you quite a bit... He really enjoyed making those movies at your place. I kind of wish I'd gone to visit during production," he said. "If I remember right, these were the songs he performed in those movies... Correct me if I'm wrong." Tennessee closed his eyes as he began to play a short medly of the songs from Blue Hawaii. Andrew couldn't help smiling to himself as he played the soft and sweet tunes that had always been among his favorites. They were such gentle songs that were so simple and pure they reached deep down to his very core. //////////////////////////////// Grade 9

"Velkomin til Íslands." 
The autumn wind blew throughout the park and leaves of different shades of warm colours fell from trees. It was all so calming and peaceful that he felt as if he was being taken to a different reality with peace and harmony instead of problem after problem. It was around that time he reminded himself to take his medication.
Emil opened the bag beside him carefully and pulled out the pills and a bottle of Coke to wash it down. He opened the packet in which that contained the pills, popped it into his mouth, and opened a bottle of Coke. The sizzling that emitted from the bottled was music to the Icelander's ears. He waited for the sizzling to decrescendo and sipped the beverage, gulping the pill down his throat as well. He pulled the bottle away from his lips and screwed the cap back on the bottle and placed the bottle back inside the bag along with his medication. Now all was left was to relax for awhile.

The state frowned as he shifted to check and paled when he recognized the number. His boss. He'd told his boss only to contact him if there was an emergency! The brief text only told him to call and mentioned it was something about Iris... What if his horse was sick? The state paled at the thought and already knew this would be a long conversation better had in privacy. "Leilani, I gotta go!" Andrew said as he shouldered his guitar in a hurry. "I'll be back as soon as I take care of somethin'!" He didn't wait for her to respond and ran off, feeling guilty about leaving the girl so suddenly but Iris was a very important friend to him. If there was something wrong with her he needed to take care of it right away. //////////////////////////////// Grade 9

.  Leah nodded slowly, to the Irish girls words; she found it odd, no one yelled at her. "Umm can you yell at me, no one really had, not even Al but he's worried about Uncle Mattie though, then Scott didn't and he normal dose.....so can you yell at me?" she asked.
The girl looked at her sister she was texting some one. She looked about. Then something hit her..."Aww man I forgot Texas! He is Sick! UGH! Gosh i am out of it to day!" then another thing hit her. "LILI! s**t!!!!" She then looked at them..."umm I got to go!" she said running off. She forgot Lili! Today is not her day today. "I’ll try to come by later!" she called back before she left.
