Desu-chan, you're not hiding puppies in those teacups, are you?
She was fishing along and she swore she almost had it before the fish managed to somehow become much trickier than Kreszentia anticipated. She swore the damn thing turned around and razzed at her as well making her narrow her gaze a bit. Her left eye twitched a bit as she gripped the net she held a bit too hard and ...snap.
...Umum...
Uncertain if she should keep the net or not she flimsily put two of the snapped halves together and left the net and the game for someone else to try. It might hold...
Maybe.
....possibly. Either way she had no intention of keeping that net it was a part of her secret shame.
Either way she moved onward toward the teacups and took up a piece of sugar and aimed for a teacup hoping for the best.

I'M SPINNING THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE~ OR IS IT SPINNING ME
Oh. Riley could tell that was exactly what was going to happen. What was with the boils and losing these games? Well, she'd only won two this time around.. maybe she'd lose her luck soon enough. She gave Nukpana a squeeze (?!) and tottered off to spin the wheel one last time.
While humming.
It was also possible she might have stolen one of the sugar cubes to suck on.

This isn't funny, the life of a bunny is at stake! What do you mean they're not alive?
The Cat had returned. Where he had been, he was sure no one knew. Despite the hinderance of being unable to drop his ribbons and vanish (the happy jingling of his pass was all that kept him from abandoning it all together) he still managed to disappear in and out of the crowd effectively.
This made him feel better.
Ego recharged and bursting to win some more prizes, Cat slipped back up to the booth to...
He eyed the last game he hadn't played. Whack a bunny? But the goal was to...not whack the bunnies? Well surely that couldn't be too hard, right? But still, he had to make it look good. Of course. Win or lose, a cat must always do it with style.

DAMMIT. Nuk stared at the angry purple cat he had bid on, making a face at it as it made a face at him. Neither faces were very happy. In Nuk's case, this was probably because the damn cat had FAILED HIM. IT HAD FAILED TO GIVE HIM A CANDY. A CANDY HE NEEDED FOR A NYANCAT. He'd chosen the cat specifically for it's color and temperament -- the purple color reminded him of Riley, and the hostile attitude only furthered this illusion. He'd figured, hey, a Rileycat COULD NOT LOSE, could it? Riley rocked at everything.
Except it hadn't. It had failed.
"WHY DID YOU FAIL ME, RILEYCAT?" he exclaimed. Ironically, just as Riley had come up behind him to squeeze him, causing him to jump a little in surprise. Was that... was she high from the sugar?!
This was great. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all. Wrapping his arm (chastely, of course) around her waist, he gave her a return-squeeze, grinning despite both his losses now.
"You're so high, aren't you."
On to the next game.

Riley looked at the floor for a moment, before shaking her head. I am no higher or lower than usual. I am also not a cat.

So much for being gentle with the bunnies. Perhaps he had gotten a little too caught up in trying to show off, but when only one bunny was left un-bashed, he felt rather silly.
"Good gosh," Cat uttered, leaning in to help up the bunnies he had bopped over the head. "I didn't hit you too hard, did I?"
He shot the bunny girl who seemed to be running the booth an uncertain look, before checking if her kin were okay more thoughoughly. She would appreciate that...right?

There was a satisfying sound of a cube going into a cup that she was aiming for. She took her candy for now and then moved on to something else. Not that Kreszentia would have hurt the teacups for her bad aim or anything, they wouldn't turn back and razzle at her like that fish had or so she believed in the back of her paranoid little mind. She moved on now toward the bunny game and tilted her head a bit not sure what to expect.
Should she aim for the bunnies? Should she miss the bunnies? She didn't like hurting animals for the most part. Not that she was a crusader of animal rights or anything she just preferred not to.
Either way she took the mallet when it was her turn and began to play the game.

There had been a handful of booths to choose from, once the boil had been led from the expansive library to the booths. This one seemed the most colorful, the most crowded. Clearly, there was fun to be had here. It wasn't surprising that Yuki had given Astra a soft nudge and gestured to it before approaching.
At first, he decided it might be best to stand and observe before he tried any of the games. See which one he might favor over the others, or generally have a good chance at.
The little pyramid of teacups caught his attention as his gaze traveled over the games and written rules for each, and it seemed pretty simple. He picked up a sugar cube from those provided, and gave it a casual toss toward the teacups.

Time was running out. THIS SUCKED. He was usually ok at games, (ok that was just a lie, he was terrible) but now he was sucking. Whyyyy? He wanted it, he wanted the Nyancat, and apparently fate did not want him to be happy.
Oh well, at least he'd seen Riley higher than a kite. It had been a good day.
Taking the mallet for the next game, Nuk made a face at the bunnies, looking over at Usa who seemed to be quite upset. To hit the bunnies... or not to hit the bunnies. It was so tempting to just WHACK them, it was going to be hard to resist.

Riley's eyes lit up as the bunnies were decimated by Nuk's attack. She hissed a victorious cheer, lifting both of her hands in the air.
SUFFER OUR WRATH, HELLISH CUTE THINGS. She screamed out in excitement.

It was a lucky thing for Usa and the bunnies that Kreszentia had a natural aversion to hitting cute fuzzy things with mallets as she tried very hard to avoid them all together. Except for the two that seemed to suddenly pop up right under the mallet she was swinging, "Little masochists," she uttered in her odd accent.
She walked away from the game with another candy so she couldn't complain too much. She at least won the last two games. Now she just simply stood off to the side nearby where she had left the others he had been consorting with. Nothing new to do until she was allowed a new try at the games.

Who would've thought flipping tables was harder than flipping pancakes? What's up with that!
The skinwalker glanced over at Riley as she screamed like that in his mind, grinning broadly. Oh yes, high-Riley was hilarious. Still, he was secretly pleased that she was cheering for him, and he posed dramatically for her, offering his hand for a high five.
"Hell yeah, gimme some skin!" Oh, the irony of THAT statement.
YES, one piece of candy. One more, and he could TRY FOR A NYANCAT. And this was a game he should be good at! Table-flipping, this was a game of STRENGTH, even though it was paper-tables he was flipping. That would only make it more embarrassing if he couldn't flip it... but at least Riley wouldn't make fun of him if he didn't. Probably.
He'd have to remember to spike her drinks with sugar frequently. Just to be an a**.

There may be many fish in the sea, but Desu-chan's the only one for me ♥
Even though his friends were no longer fishing, Ulmuka moved to the side of the fish tank and clacked his teeth excitedly. FISH! He clawed his taloned hands at the top of the water once. It was such a tease!!
The strix yanked his hand back just as suddenly. He remembered how he was supposed to behave and try to act more like a 'normal' boil. He wasn't supposed act like a hungry beast. Muka tilted his head and clacked his teeth again before picking up the fishing net and made the PROPER effort to play the game.
His ever present smile seemed to soften slightly. Apparently he was only good at catching fish with his claws... as an owl. They were very uninterested in his attempt with net. Muka's stiff posture slumped, if only for a moment. He'd yet to win a single game!

Every time Nuk successfully flipped a table, Riley bent over and smashed her fist into the table in triumph. There was no actual reasoning behind this. She just did it because it was something she felt had to be done.
Excellent job, Nukpana. We have destroyed the land of tables. Together, we are an unstoppable force for evil.
