"Same; I mean, if that person was right, and we signed up for this hell, our lives before must've been pretty...well..." He trailed off, vaguely gesturing forward. But still, no matter how terrible his previous life would have been, the fact still remained. He wanted to know. Hidden behind his mask, brows raised at the apology Gamma Two was giving him, and his immediate response was to laugh it off, reaching out to clap his Leader-buddy on the shoulder.
"Naw, no way man! You did whattcha could, Kept us alive as long as you could, You're good." After all, he had stayed alive pretty much the entire time Gamma Two was alive; he didn't live long after that so, by all accounts, his short success was due to Two. With a sigh and a slouch, he turned to point at Beta Seven.
"And you, you're a huge b***h." He seemed amused, but there was a hint of an edge to his voice. "We're not going to have a future here, either. But at least here we can pretend to be alive." For a little bit, anyway. "There's nothing wrong with wanting to cling to life a little longer, girlie." Behind his mask he rolled his eyes, once more graciously flipping her the bird.
His attention soon shifted towards Beta X...and he paused. Well, s**t. Beta Seven was right...now Gamma Two had to drop 'em! Hrm. This just wouldn't do.
"I take my bet back; you will have to drop your pants when the time comes." He confirmed while pointing at Beta Seven, before gesturing towards Gamma Two. "He has to...do whatever the hell he wants, that doesn't include stripping." It was a good ammendment, he thought.

There was a faint smile as Gamma Seven reassured him that he did alright, though it faded as bVII started to rant at them about the whole thing. Turning towards her, he frowned and shook his head.
"You can't say you don't have any apprehension with the door at all," he started, "It's less about 'growing a pair' and more about when we really feel it's time to go."
Shaking his head again, he paused as he saw a few others appear, Beta X among them. Well damn, that meant he lost the bet! Groaning as bVII reminded him of the stipulations, he was just about to pull his pants off when glorious yVII came to save the day. Heaving a sigh of relief, he thought on just how he was supposed to act his age.
"Thanks man. You're a real life saver dude," he said to his fellow Gamma while patting him on the back. Turning back towards bVII he started grinning again, "So like... I gotta start totally acting my age right, dude?"

"Oh, I'm sorry for saying the truth, guys," She stated in a deadpan voice as she rolled her eyes before pausing, letting out a sigh, "Look, I get it. Its just that all this-" She gestured at just about everything in the room, "Is getting way too comfy. This couch is getting way too comfy." Makes it hard to let go of, even more than before. If this was a few days earlier... She would had willingly walk through that door without regrets.
With time come emotions, and with emotions come regret.
"Say what you want to, but I make a fair point," She dismissed the flip with a wave of her hand, but froze at what Gamma Seven said next. For a split second, she remained silent... Until she burst out laughing again, "HAHAHA- Since we can change our bets... Old man, drop your pants. I ain't dropping the nickname, and you sound like a retard adding 'dude' anyway. It makes you sound like a... 60 year old trying to talk to his grandson."

"I'll admit you make a fair point, but you're still a b***h for pointing it out." He jabbed happily at her. A brow raised when Gamma Two started to sound like a surfer...and the way he spoke? Seven couldn't help but feel a smidgen offended. He used man and dude a lot, just...not to that extent? He hoped, anyway.
"HAHAAAAA Hey no problem, I don't want to see your junk anyway." The way he trailed off suggested he had more to say, but at Beta Seven's change of bet, he leaned over quickly to look at her. "FOUL. I call foul on you. He's already started your agreed upon bet, changing it now is like, two dares in one." He waggled his finger at her in a tsking manner. "Bad girl, ******** with the rules and wanting more out of it!" Then, to Gamma Two.
"Don't listen to her, just keep 'talking your age'." Complete with air quotes! Because that was what they agreed on, and that was what he had already started doing!

If they could see his face, it would have been a look of horror right about now as he stared at bVII. Why did she want him to drop his pants that badly? Though, yVII did have a bit of a point. He had already started with that part of the stipulation.
"Totally not gonna drop my pants if you're not gonna like... drop the whole old man dealie," he said, now adding a bit of the 'surfer' tone to his words, "Didn't think that like... you'd be that interested in seeing my junk. Gotta say, that's like.. kinda hot."
Grinning, he realized something, "Though wait dude. Didn't you like.. just say there was armor under the armor? Wiiiiiiiickeeeed... so it's like.. totally pointless to drop the pants then anyway. Right dude?"

"Bad girl! Foul! I call foul!" She echoed Gamma Seven's words in the most childish voice she could muster, which wasn't much, really. She then shrugged, leaning back against the couch as she grinned, not that it could be seen, "Well then, bet's between you and me now then... Ah, wonder if Beta Four will show up soon."
"Oh? My, my... Too bad the mask's on too tight then~" She laughed, turning to Gamma Two as she placed a hand around his shoulder, and leaned towards him until her mask was touching his. It was the gas mask version of meeting someone's eye, "Seems like the organizers of this little game wants to deprive us of more than just drinking, wouldn't you agree, old surfer dude?"
Oh look, a new nickname!

...Gamma Two was...
Pffffftahahahha! Seven burst out laughing, his eyes squeezing shut behind his mask. Oh dear god, those words and that tone just...ugh they felt and sounded to awkward! Two was definitely not a surfer in their past life! He was about to say so too, but when he opened his eyes to peer at the little group they had made, he found Beta Seven with her mask flush against Gamma Two's. Oh! Well then! No wonder they were always together in death! It made sense now, and it was probably a good thing they couldn't see the grin behind his mask. Still, he had to admit he was a little jealous; even as a technically nameless stranger in complete armour, Two still managed to get the girl. Seemed unfair some how!
"GET A ROOM." He demanded loudly, still laughing.
Well, limbo wasn't so bad.

At least he was in the clear for the most part now. Speaking like he did at the moment was better than having to take his pants off. It still wasn't the most favorable thing to do, but he did lose the bet. Oh Beta X, why did she have to be the first to go?
yII stayed put as Beta Seven came up and pressed her mask against his. He squinted some to try and see if he could make out any features while they were standing this close, but there was still nothing as far as he could tell. Oh well. Chuckling a bit, he shrugged, "I can see it."
They were deprived of a lot more than drinks for sure. Gamma Two didn't really want to spend the time to be counting out all the things right now though.
Turning towards Gamma Seven, he laughed and shook his head.
"Dude, do you like.. see any rooms around here?"

"A room? Why get a room when you have such a comfy couch?" She released Gamma Two with a laugh as she turned to look at Gamma Seven, "And more than two can play at this game, wouldn't you agree?" Her gaze shifted to the oddly quiet Beta X before she looked at Gamma Seven again; it couldn't be seen, but she was grinning. She wasn't even sure why.
... For some reason, the idea of a threesome appealed to her. s**t, maybe she really was a stripper from Las Vegas as Gamma Two suggested. That would be sort of... Disturbing yet oddly interesting, career choice wise.
Ugh, someone from their bet die and join them already, seriously... What's taking them so long? Walking through that door would solve all the mysteries, probably, and she did not want to sit here in purgatory for the rest of her death.

"Well, I see a door." He pointed out, of course meaning that doors usually mean there was a room beyond. Chuckling, he shook his head. "Well, you could always go behind the bar; that's as private as you can get!" Seven followed the woman's gaze to Beta X, and he chuckled and shook his head. "Naw, that's just a big tease; who knows how many layers of armour we're actually wearing." Which meant hey likely couldn't have fun even if he wanted to.
Not to mention Beta X had a few screws loose.
"Hahaaa...Alright. I think I'm done here." Gamma Seven decided with a little laugh, moving to get back to his feet and stretching his arms over his head, extending his body so far that he even moved onto his toes.
"Yup. A Good place to end it." They had been laughing. It was perfect. He sounded pleased, but there was a little tinge of something more...solemn.

yII could almost not believe he was actually talking about this right now in death of all places. This definitely would not be going on if they were all alive on the island right about now.
"Heh. I guess like... behind the bar could work dude but yeah. It'd be a total killjoy if there were like... ten or more layers of this stuff we're wearing," he chuckled. The light mood soon took a downwards turn as he heard Gamma Seven say it was his time to go. Turning to face him, he glanced towards the door briefly.
Stepping away from Beta Seven, he walked over and patted the guy on the shoulder. Beneath the mask as a sort of smile, but it was weak. A part of him didn't want to see people leave, but it was inevitable. Everyone in this room had to cross over some time. Right now, that was yVII's time.
"It was nice knowing you," he said, trying not to sound too solemn. The surfer tone had been dropped, however, "Take care."

"Oh guys, hug each other - you won't be able to do it again," It was difficult to tell if she was being obnoxious again, or if she was being serious. She didn't want to be a sentimental fool, not at the 'end of the journey'; she wanted his last memory of her to be 'Boss' or 'Beta Seven', not 'overly sentimental girl with sudden burst of emotions at the end'.
"Good luck," That was the only 'nice' thing she was going to offer, "And I hope you had a pleasant flight with Purgatory Airlines."

The weight on his heart, the plummeting feeling in his stomach...the tingle of emotion behind his eyes. It wasn't something he thought he would feel when he ended it. He always thought it would be similar to the way he had gone in the game; angry, determined, yelling, in pain. This was...so different than what he imagined. So calm, so...ready, if it could be called that.
"Nah, no hugs, no chick flick moments." He chuckled low, a somewhat forced noise as he nonchalantly waived off the idea. What he did, however, was extend a hand to Gamma Two. "Pleasure's all mine, man. It was an honor." Once he was gone with Two, he extended the same hand to Beta Seven. "You too, really." When he was able to, he stepped back from the both of them, awkwardly and lightly clapping his hands together as if brushing the dust off of them.
"Well...That's it I guess. Good Luck." Nodding lightly, he turned and weaved his way through the crowd, pausing just once in front of the door, staring into the darkness that awaited him. He had no regrets, no nagging feeling that he needed to stay; he made friends, he had a laugh, he was ready to go. It was his time.
With a calm breath, he stepped past the others there, and went through the door without a single glance back.
(( yVII exits through the door. ))

The glass stopped spinning beneath her fingertips, and that was all there was. Gamma Three watched as Alpha Seven sang, and her smile was sad and stoic. She did not feel remorse. She did not feel anger. She simply did not feel at all, all of her rage and hate and delusion washed away by the task that awaited her.
She stood, and went to join the man who stood by that door. She looked up at him; he towered over her by well over a foot.
“Are we ready to go, then?”

yII was fine with the no hugs thing, though he went on and shook Seven's hand firmly with little hesitation. Nodding silently, he briefly glanced over towards Beta Seven, then watched as his friend walked on through the door. His eyes lingered there for awhile, staring at the abyss yVII had disappeared into.
Taking a few steps closer, it seemed he was considering crossing over as well, but his gaze broke away from the doorway. He was on the fence. He wanted to go, but at the same time.. he didn't. The mixed feeling had him confused on what he should do. Closing his eyes, he took in a deep breath to try and clear his thoughts.
His time was coming soon. He could feel it.
