Malcom shook his head. "I have no painful memories with my mother,just good ones." Malcom laughed. "we have gotten off subject of what you came in for Kai. you said you had to reclean my wounds."

"Oh yeah... I forgot." Kai laughed and asked, "Do you feel any pain in any of your wounds?"

Kai smiled and replied, "Well they seem to be okay... but if they start feeling uncomfortably warm, or if a yellow fluid starts leaking out of them... let me know, that means they are getting infected." then he added, "Plus, you need to clean them with warm water everyday..." then he thought and continued, "And... if you need anything, I don't care what or when it is... Even if it is you wanting something silly like something to drink or a hug at 4 in the morning... I don't care... just let me know, ok?" then he laughed lightly at his words.

Malcom smiled. "I'll let you know if I need anything Kai. Right there is two things you can do. First take this plate back to the kitchen and second come back here with Rio. I something for the both of you."

Kai smiled and replied, "Ok~" then he took Malcom's plate downstairs to the kitchen and went over to Rio, who was now chewing on a stick of pockey. "Hey Rio. Master said he wants to see both of us~" Rio laughed and replied, "You seem happy about that." Then he stood up and followed Kai back to Malcom's room. The twins walked into Malcom's room, and Rio said, "Hey master. You feelin' any better? What is it you need of both of u?"

"Yes i am,thanking you for asking Rio. Cut back on the pockey." He pointed to the crumbs on Rio's shirt. "I just been meaning to give you something for awhile." Malcom picked up two tiny boxs from is bedside table and handed them to the twins. "Open them." he said with a smile.
(psst the boxs has golden amulets engraved with thier names.)

The twins opened the boxes at the same time. Kai smiled and said, "WOW! It's so cool~~" but Rio laughed and said, "Oh no... master is going soft on us." Then Kai elbowed him, "Be grateful! Master got these!" then Kai hugged the amulet close to him and said, "There so cool!" Rio rolled his eyes and replied, "Oh no... his first treasure But despite Rio's acting not to care, he held on tightly to the amulet, happy to have gotten it.

Malcom laughed and smiled. "I have always been soft Rio if you haven't noticed. I'm glad you like them."

Rio rolled his eyes again and corrected himself, "Fine, your getting softer" then he looked at Kai, and expected him to elbow him, but found Kai was still hugging his amulet. Rio sighed and quickly whispered something in his twin's ear. Kai's eyes went wide and then he glared at his twin. "I-Idiot! That's not true!" but then Rio pointed at his twin's face and asked, "Then explain that" Kai slapped his hand over his own nose, feeling blood dripping from it. His face turned dark red as he rubbed the blood away. "S-Shut up..." then Rio laughed and said, "I was only joking... but telling by your nsoebleed, you seemed to have taken it seriously."

Rio nodded and walked out of the room, heading towards his own room. He put the amulet in his pocket and smiled, In return for this gift... I will entertain you with my rule breaking the best I can. he thought to himself. Kai rubbed the last of blood from his nose and asked, What is it master?"

Malcom looked at Kai. "What are you hiding from me Kai? You make it clear you have a crush on me but you refuse to admit anything out loud. And when you had that nightmare;you refused to to speak of it. What are you hiding Kai? What have you locked away inside yourself?"

Kai looked at Malcom then looked away, "I'm not hiding anything... I won't deny I like you... but... I'm not hiding anything..." he felt a pang of guild about lying to Malcom that he wasn't hiding anything. Now that Malcom pointed out he was hiding something, it started eating at him.
