Azzo nodded, and smiled the best he could. "I promise."
He was also curious and peeking out form their hiding place at the black billowing smoke, arm aching and making him wish he actually had something to make the pain go away. If that break was real when he woke up how was he going to explain it?
He simply couldn't was the answer, he frowned. He'd have to sneak out and try to get it fixed or find something to blame it on before Grams found out. "Does your attack attract anything here?" Azzo wasn't one for science, anyone that knew him well enough knew that. He couldn't help but be nosy at the fact either.

The sudden wave of acrid smoke made Atlas wince further, both from the scent and the sharp pain that rattled through his chest every time he coughed. He attempted to stave off some of it by covering his mouth and nose with one damply-gloved hand, but it had already become smeared with enough grime that it did nothing to help. So instead he tried to answer the other senshi, failed in a fit of miserable coughing, and then tried to staggeringly get to his feet, gripping the proffered shoulder for support.
"Thanks," he managed to wheeze. "Again. Think I can walk... might be slow." God, was he ever tired. Exhaustion was starting to slam into him as readily as those rocks had, and every part of his body was complaining with every step he took. But, what else could he do?

Lava continued to bubble and boil over the lip of the volcano as the smoke grew thick. It was becoming harder and harder to see through all of the thickness and moving without looking was dangerous unless you were the blessed Leto. Though even she had to watch for fissures in the ground -- the fall down onto the hard surface of lava would have at least broken her legs if not killed her outright.
Through the smoke, it was impossible for both Tate and Azzo to realize that their bodies had been changed. Over his broken arm had solidified and started to drip hardened rock and liquid magma. If he were to lash out that broken arm, the liquid would spray out and hurt...well. Everyone. Tate had been encased around her torso and down one leg in the molten stuff.
Elysion knew that they were not deliberate intruders, and were taking steps to protect the unlucky bystanders.

Tony squinted at Ever.
"Be nice," he warned, though he had no real threat to back up the tone. He just glared impotently, before shifting his eyes to Castille and offering her a welcoming smile.
"We're humans, yes. The senshi and their enemies seem to be... a bit busy," he sighed, looking around to see some of the others, though more were out of his line of view at the moment.
Maybe they were fighting, and once there was a winner, they could all go home.
Even though he was sleeping on the sofa, he missed his 'bed' something fierce at this point.

-Oblivious to the change going on near her, Polaris squinted against the sulferous air that was growing thicker by the moment. Her eyes burned.. her throat itched.. she coughed before answering his question.- "Volcanic rock is high in iron, so it tends to be magnetized. It messes up compasses quite often."
"So I've got a lot to work with here. I'm just... not so sure what I should be aiming at." -Especially with the air growing more and more dark.-

Castille glared at Ever, saying "Well no, but there are people running around here with freakin super powers! I wasn't sure if I should be careful for fear of losing an arm or something." She crossed her sore arms.
"Do you guys have any idea where we are? And is this a dream?"
She looked at Tony, asking "What is a senshi? Those people with the crazy costumes?"
Castille paused after Sheldon's smart aleck response, and she gave him the same glare that she delivered to Ever, saying "Cute. Well this is one hell of a dream."

Haha, cute. Sheldon responded to Ever's hand gesture with his own and a childish sticking out his his tongue - which was then regretted due to the after taste of volcano and blood. Urg. "Yeah, well.. I showed that hole I fell in. It looks even worse than I do," he attempted a grin at Tony but that failed rather miserably.
He eyed Castille for a moment, trying his grin on her as well, "Negative... I am a meat popsicle." Oh, pop culture jokes. Even in the worst of times. And even though, it was sadly killed by Tony being nice to the girl. Damn.
It was then that Sheldon's eyes squeezed shut for a moment, irritated by the rising smoke that finally had caught up with him. True, he had a cloud of smoke that circled him nearly every waking minute of the day, but this stuff was stronger, more potent and well just tasted awful.
"Urg, what the hell," he reached his right palm up to his eyes, trying to rub at them. Again, not the best of ideas. His left eye grew more irritated as he rubbed more crap into it, leaving his right the best functioning of the two.
"Ever seems to think this is, I would beg to differ." He replied to the girl, "and obviously.. its a very angry volcano..."

Alumo coughed harsher at the thickening smoke, wishing he could see just what he was doing. If it wasn't for the brightly glowing lava, he didn't know if he would have stepped right into it. He felt as though his skin was on fire. He could feel his hands blister from the heat, but they couldn't give up just yet.
He wanted to call out to the Lieutenant, but that would mean he had to inhale, and just breathing the little bit he was now was causing his lungs to burn. Instead he stumbled his way towards her voice, climbing up on a larger boulder of hardened lava, drawing closer to where he'd heard her.
Once he found her, he'd almost tripped right over her. Damn this wasn't good. They couldn't just fall like this to a freaking Guardian. "That way," he said to her, reaching out to give her a nudge away from the source of the smoke. He forced his eyes open just enough to be able to see, wanting to get her out of the way of being even more injured than she could already be. Breathing in this smoke definitely wasn't good for their lungs.
They would just have to be more cautious.

Three civilians -- four??? -- three senshi in there little area. Well, at least they were more or less even now, though Ganymede would have preferred that there be no civilians at all. Actually, he would have preferred not to be here, but when had he ever gotten what he wanted? If he had it his way he'd go back to a time when he'd been completely unaware of all of this. Ignorance had been bliss and he wanted it back.
He grumbled to himself as the civilians grouped themselves together, and as Gianfar and Atlas righted themselves. He was going to have to start sleeping during the day, he decided. Yes, that sounded like a wonderful plan. He'd sleep all day and stay up all night and not deal with any of this anymore. It would be so much less stressful, not to mention less hazardous to his health -- and his life. No more people trying to kill him, no more volcanoes -- because really! A volcano?? -- and no more worrying about things he wasn't good at to begin with. He had his pride to look out for, and his pride hadn't been fairing too well during these last two battles.
"I'm so done with all of this," he said to no one in particular, kicking a random stone off to the side.

"I'm glad you taught that hole a lesson, at least."
Tony coughed as the smoke began to grow denser, the air itself, it seemed, turning against them. His chest ached like it was burning inside, and he put his hand on his side as he coughed, face twisted in awful pain.
He opened one eye to watch the younger folk introduce themselves. Which was mostly rude gestures and snapping. Nice. Now was the perfect time for that, of course, so why not?
"Guys, let's stay focused. We're trying to survive, remember? Moving from here would be suicidal, but we are at a disadvantage. Higher ground means we're out of the lava, but smoke rises. Our lungs are going to take a beating if this goes on too long..."
His already felt like they had.
"Ah... yes. Senshi are... the ones in skirts, mostly. The white ones."

Atlas went into another violent coughing fit right after Ganymede's words.
But it was from the smoke. Really.
As they shuffled along, though, Atlas turned his gaze up to the questionably clad senshi, chewing his lip a bit in thought. "It's not so easy to quit," he said. "Believe me, a lot of us have tried."

Azzo was coughing by now too moving to lean back on the rock his broken arm close to his stomach. He was unaware that his broken arm was now solidified. He frowned, "I don't know either, it's too damned hard to see..."
It was smelling horribly as well. His arm occasionally wanted to move and get more comfortable, however, it was hard to do when he couldn't really see what was going on. Azzo was doing his best to nurse it and keep it steady. "Where's a senshi of wind or giant fans when you need one?" He muttered, he was trying to be funny but at the same time he was pretty serious.
"If something doesn't happen soon we might end up choked to death by this stuff." He coughed again using his good arm to cover his mouth. The only thing he could think of to help cover their mouths was part of his pants legs. He frowned wondering if that could act as enough of a filter?

Tony's chiding had shut Ever up at least -- briefly. At that, he blinked, eyebrows pulling together, and nudged himself up to stand: trying to pick out senshi from among the crowd. Ah, so Senshi were the ones in the really stupid outfits. What were the other ones, then...?
"I could go scouting...." It was absent; Ever fussed with the ties on his pants again. "Hunt down a cave or something maybe? I don't know, is there going to be a cave?"

Through the pain in his raw skin, he shook his head. "Yeah, I'm just great. Nothing like bleeding." He pointed out, a bit sharp with her, but what did you expect? He couldn't be all sweet words and comforting thoughts when he was melting from the heat, being stabbed with sharp rocks, avoiding geysers and all type of burning danger, and now had a cloud of smoke rolling and causing his limited breathing to be even harder to deal with and blinding what little vision he already had. It was only by being close to her that he felt the heat. Only by Tate that he could make out the light of lava and flames. It was then that he turned, looking confused through the soot and smoke, and cried out. "Tate!" She was on fire! DEAR LORD SHE WAS FRYING!
He leaped out to get closer, wondering if there was anything to keep her from cooking alive, but he had nothing. No water. No shirt to stomp it out. Telling her to drop to the ground that was even hotter would be no good. What did he do?!!!

Ganymede raised a brow at Atlas' comment, but otherwise looked unimpressed. He decided not to believe him, based solely on the fact that he looked so... unimpressive. "Yeah, well, maybe you didn't try hard enough," he said, continuing to develop further plans. If changing his sleeping habits to avoid this place at times like this didn't work, maybe he could just... move??
"The way you say it makes it seem like we don't even have a choice," he observed. He didn't like that thought at all. "Doesn't that seem... wrong? I mean, I didn't ask for this, I don't want this, so why should I do it?"
With a great deal of self-control, Ganymede restrained himself from continuing to rant. Not only would it not solve anything, but if he really got into it he'd just end up distracting himself, and he'd already decided to keep distractions to a minimum.
