Riley didn't get to see the skullface achsuns. She didn't even know what those were yet, as it hadn't been explained. When Israfel was pulled away, it gave her some incentive to actually get up off the snow. Her rear was soaking wet, and the rest of her wasn't doing too well either. She wrapped her arms around herself, realizing just how much colder this place was when it was wet, and decided that staying up another night to play watch-dog was a bad idea. Plus, she still felt really woozy - it would take a little rest time to get herself really cleared up. She supposed that meant it was time to use her tent for the first time.
She pulled the tent out and set it up so that it rested in the crook of Jericho's curving dragon form - hopefully the tent would serve to send him some warmth as well, since he couldn't put a tent over himself. Before entering, however, her eyes flickered over to the tent that had already been put up, and she watched little Luce scamper into it. A brief thought occurred to her - a silly one, she realized. She sort of wished her pet was the kind that could go on trips with her, and keep her company at times like this. She could use a friendly ear.
Patting Jericho on the neck, she murmured. I'm going to sleep soon. And she winced when she heard Israfel's scream. It was his scream that made her pause, and not enter her tent yet.
The Cider Faerie is going to rest now. She sent out to him. Okay?

Lo and behold, while Riley didn't have a pet to talk to, Israfel was just as good.
She blinked, and held the flap of her tent up and shrugged. Sure. She'd probably spend the entire night keeping Israfel up with lament over how bad she felt, and she could lend an ear to Israfel in turn, for no ghoul or boil of their age was truly without woe.

Aksaja fought not to slap a hand over his face at that. Just... walk away. That was probably the best choice at this point. And so he did, going to wait over by the other scouts. Seemed like a lot of people were resting in tents again now... which meant moving much farther would have to wait.
Siiigh. Well, at least they'd picked a direction. More or less.

With a whoop of joy, (ew not that kind of JOY), Israfel ran head fist into Riley's tent, giggling insanely.

Riley had no idea what she'd probably done by letting Isra sleep over, but hopefully by the time the night was over, she would at least be in a better mood. For who could stay sour when they were around Israfel? So in she went.
Riley tented for the night. Aand.. Israfel too, I guess? XD

(( Super sorry for sudden absence, guys ; A ;;
Who all is in our group? <3 -approves of mountain path-
Oh, and Nata, I remember Nuk mentioning wanting to give Corbin a Peppermint Point but not actually doing so; should I count that as me receiving one or not? ))
Being singled out to join a group was an interesting feeling for the Wraith, a mix somewhere between pride and relief; he felt strong and useful despite his injuries and it meant that he didn't need to flounder around trying to pick which group to go with, not that it was much of a decision when the other group already had a bell ringer. As one, he was a bit of a commodity and the perpetual faint smile on his face grew just slightly.
All the same, he had kept quiet for most of the journey. There were a few more tree attacks but they were swiftly taken care of with little problem which reassured the Crow; at least he could continue keeping his bells safe until there was a real emergency. The Raum took charge of the group and seemed to be doing a decent job of it; he was on the road to redemption in Corbin's mind and, in retrospect, he couldn't really blame Braum for being as agitated as he had been on the train--especially not after the thing crashed. Clean slate, he decided. A clean slate for everyone, really, as now he was beginning to truly get to know these people.
Except for Israfel, his opinion on the Siren was largely consistent and would remain so until he was sober.
At the mention of a 'marker' for the other members of their car to know which way they've gone, Corbin finally piped in. "Do we have any bright fabric?" orange would do wonderfully, especially their lovely Halloween shade. It would stick out like a sore thumb. If they could find any of that and something to write with, they could attach the fabric to the branch of a tree that was most definitely not alive and write the names of everyone in their group on it. The other group would fend for themselves, he supposed.
Time was pushing on, however, and many were beginning to tent up. Instead of tenting this time, Corbin decided to remain awake and keep watch. It was the least he could do for his group, really, and the Wraith perched himself on a rather large rock sticking out from the snow, making sure to get all of the cold white covering off of it before hand. Once more people woke he could resume his objective of constructing a marker, one he was taking very seriously.

Lucien hadn't gone off to scout (although he did have a little nap in the snow -- and yes, it's pretty comfortable), barely able to comprehend walking let along walking ahead of everyone so he stayed where he was comfortable. He stayed with Malodore and Luce; Nukpana and Shehk; Riley and his good friend Israfel. He was sure there were a few others around, but he could barely keep track of Israfel let alone everyone from his train cabin.
Speaking of Israfel, Lucien couldn't comprehend why the siren had gone into the tent with Riley. Not at all. Lucien wasn't exactly sure how to pitch a tent but the cold weather didn't bother the air spirit in the least so after his nap in the snow he took it upon himself to stand between the tents, sometimes sit in the snow, while he waited. Keeping guard, fighting with the tangled lights every time he went to stand back up as they got caught between his legs.

Lucien had just finished untangling himself from his lights when he felt the most peculiar sensation. A painful one. Realizing what it was, the air elemental made a rather unflattering noise. He had to protect his bird! With a quick adjust of his goggles so that they were now around his eyes, Lucien was ready to chop this tree down to size.
"I am not lost," he said as he went to the tree and hit it.

West didn't much care which path they took, he just wanted to get moving. Sadly, hours passed, trees were fought, and his classmates began climbing into their tents again. He followed suit, but instead of sleeping, he pondered such world-changing topics as how many pumpkin pills it would take to kill a scareon and whether or not he should wear nothing but track pants to class for the rest of the semester. If he didn't die here.
He emerged when he heard semi-distant tree fighting again, resisting the urge to snap at Corbin just because he could. Instead he dropped to a seat in the snow, alternately pushing his heels forward in long, plowed rows in an attempt to see whether or not the fluffy whiteness had an end.

Lucien made a triumph 'hmph' as the tree receded. He began to brush off the joy covered pine needles from his clothes as he watched it leave, making sure it left. He almost felt bad, but then the tree tossed out a gift for the air elemental. How nice of the tree! He made sure the lights weren't around his feet and then he walked over and grabbed the gift. He wasn't sure what he'd do it with, but surely he'd find a use.

Raven was about in the same mind-set as the student plowing rows into the snow with his heels seemed to be. She was tired of the tree's..tired of the snow..tired of well everything really and honestly she couldn't care less which path they all took in the end..just as long as they got moving again so that they could get this horrible trip over with.
