As Notwen and Nagamichi walked along the rooftops of the residential area, he couldn't help but to look down at the streets below. Among the shinobi and merchants making their way around there were children running around here and there. Memories of his youth back in the deserts of Wind Country resurfaced, and a hazy memory of the windswept streets covered what was really there. "Come on, N! Let's see who can jump the gap!" said the phantom of his twin brother, which appeared as he was just before they were separated. The apparition jumped across the street, as did Notwen and Nagamichi, who was oblivious to the Chuunin's reverie. However when they came up to the second street to jump over the hazy memory wasn't exactly a match to the layout of the Hidden Cloud, so when Notwen jumped he ended up falling directly into the middle of the street. Upon landing in a belly flop the hazy memory lifted, along with his late twin's phantom.
"Way to go Novvus..." groaned the Uchiha, picking himself off the ground and dusting himself off. It was then that the dark-skinned blonde noticed that he had landed in the middle of a group of kids, one of which had ended up underneath him. "Oh, crap!" he said, quickly helping the boy, who was wearing a shirt with a high collar to his feet. Nagamichi was at his side in an instant, checking Notwen over to see if he was injured.
"Sensei, what happened up there? We were nowhere close to the edge of the rooftops."
"Just a random memory of me jumping over streets in my youth. I'm fine, but i'm not so sure about him. He broke my fall, and hopefully he isn't broken..." The last thing that Notwen wanted on his agenda was to send another kid to the hospital. He turned to look on the other two who seemed to have been accompanying the boy he had landed on. "I am really sorry. I don't know what's gotten into me today. My student will tend to his wounds, so there's no need to worry." As he spoke, the three-eyed Uchiha walked the groaning boy to a nearby bench where he sat the latter down. Upon straighten up he saw a fairly new forehead protector bearing the symbol of the cloud hanging from his neck, which would have been unseen had he not happened to look down the shirt's raised collar.

UCHIHA CLAN || YOMONARU UCHIHA || CHAKRA RESERVES: 2500 || STAMINA RESERVES: 1500Yomonaru's attention turned to Ayaka as she had come up from behind, her friend Tarimi somehow pulling Hotaru beside her as the two tried to engage in some sort of conversation. The key to that however, was tried, as Hotaru wasn't the most outgoing type. Rather, he kept his head low, scattered words every now and then to reply with. The silence, it was nice, the cool breeze filling the air in turn. Even with Ayaka, what was there to say? They weren't assigned anything as of yet, and the two, even though the duo had been acquaintances throughout the Academy, talking between them had rarely occurred. So when Ayaka had been the first to break the silence, Yomonaru stared blankly toward her. His mouth tried to open initially, an attempt to search for the right thoughts to think, the right words to say, but the question caught the Uchiha by surprise. The same terms? Yomonaru had just stared, the blank look never ceasing. The slight breeze began to ruffle his hair as he stood motionless, but then, his mouth opened, words finally surfacing. "Ayaka, I suppose we-" But before he could finish, the young Uchiha would be lost from view. Hotaru, the shy boy immediately broke contact with Tarimi, attention solely focused on his friend. "Y-Yomonaru!" Mouth agape, Hotaru just stared in disbelief at the nonchalant attitude from the one who had trampled on top of his ally. If he hadn't been the calm and shy type, he would have showed him what had gotten into him today! Before he could react any farther though, Yomonaru was picked up, and being escorted to the bench, mentally, he was completely gone. The pain was dwindling away from the severe adrenaline that had course throughout his body from the painful impact toward the ground. Nothing seemed broken - as for feeling if anything was, that would happen once the adrenaline wore off. The Uchiha had zero awareness, body swaying to the left, and then heavily to the right. "Wh-wh-... happe-" Words would fail him once more though, and as he swayed heavily to the right, his body would lose any control that he had prior. At that moment, pain had shut him down, turned his conscience off, and like that, Yomonaru was out like a light. Happy graduation. ╔══════════OOC═══════════╗

MIZU CLAN || AYAKA REI TOMOMI || CHAKRA RESERVES: 1500 || STAMINA RESERVES: 1000Just as the silence was about to break, a body came hurling down from the sky. "Yomonaru!" Ayaka and Hotaru yelled at once, both taken by the surprise of the large shinobi that had landed on top of the young graduate. Tarimi stared in shock, only looking up to the sky to see where the man came from. She pointed, in silence, what a surprise it was to hear her silent. Ayaka looked up quickly, but then helped brush off Yomonaru as the other shinobi had helped him up. "What the hell just happened?!" The outgoing girl raged in the silence of Hotaru and Ayaka, assuming they were thinking the same, which of course, they were. She walked up to the two shinobi that were now at ground level. "Hm? Answer me, damnit. We'll be lucky if he gains consciousness with your big self falling from such heights like that!" Hotaru tried to hold the girl back, only to avoid a fight. Ayaka had continued to ignore the girl, only focusing on Yomonaru. Allies or enemies, the boy was still an acquaintance, her kind demeanor still cared for the nature of human beings regardless. "Yomonaru?" Ayaka stood in front of the young Uchiha as he was trying to produce some kind of language in his confusion. "Yomonaru!" As the boy's head began to descend towards the bench, Ayaka grabbed his shoulder and pushed him upright. She sat next to him, letting him lean on her as she took a look at the several scrapes and bruises that were now forming. Tarimi was still in her rage, but had slightly calmed down by Hotaru's touch of sympathy to her emotions. The two shinobi gathered with Ayaka, it was time to figure out what was going on. Ayaka looked at the shinobi that had fallen on Yomonaru, noticing his bright yellow hair. Her stare was solemn, almost as if she was saying "why" with her eyes. All the attention was now focused on Yomonaru, "Are you going to fix him or what?" Tarimi looked at the one that had caused the trouble through carelessness. She just stared at him, waiting for an answer. "Hang in there, Yomonaru." Ayaka whispered, holding his injured, unconscious body up with hers. ╔══════════OOC═══════════╗

The whole while they had been trying to get the boy, whose name appeared to be Yomonaru, to the bench one of the girls kept assailing Notwen and Nagamichi with questions. The main points were why he had fallen from the sky to begin with, as well as what was to be done about it. Presently Yomonaru sat unconscious on the bench with his head resting on the shoulder of one of his female companions. The other girl stared into the dark-skinned blonde's eyes with a solemn expression, which added some measure of guilt to his already sorry demeanor. Nagamichi picked up on this fact and addressed the girl. "My sensei knows no healing techniques, but i do. I'm sure that i can do something for your friend. " He turned and walked over to the girl whose shoulder was serving as Yomonaru's pillow. "In order for me to do my work i am going to need you to move away from Yomonaru's body. Also, " he declared so that the three of the the unconscious boy's comrades would be able to hear his voice clearly. "No matter what i do, do not attempt to stop me. You might be putting Yomonaru in danger. " With that said the white-haired boy reached over behind his back and drew his sword. It looked as if the blade would have come down in an arch and cleaved Yomonaru in two, but Nagamichi's proficiency with Hagia du Albae proved to be more than enough to stop the blade a hairs breadth from Yomonaru's cheek. One the flat of the blade tapped the boy's skin, a white glow began to emanate from the blade and pass over to cloak the unconscious boy. All that could be heard for those few seconds was Nagamichi's breathing as he concentrated on the healing jutsu. Finally the white-haired boy withdrew the sword and sheathed it skillfully. By then all the scratches and bruises that had been developing were gone, with no trace that they were there to begin with. "He should be coming to any moment now. " said Nagamichi turning to the group.

UCHIHA CLAN || YOMONARU UCHIHA || CHAKRA RESERVES: 2500 || STAMINA RESERVES: 1500By now, Hotaru had quietly accepted what happened to his friend, his shy stature deciding interjecting anymore would both further annoy the others as well as make him look too dependent on his companion. Even so, worrying about Yomonaru, Hotaru couldn't help but to. Watching the two men speak, and not to mention freezing up as the lead man unsheathed his blade, Hotaru felt an urge to reach out and stop what was going on. Although in the next moment, the sword stopped right next to Yomonaru's cheek, and to think, Hotaru was beginning to believe that this man was going to try and behead the Uchiha right there in front of them. Whew, a load off his back that that wasn't true. After Notwen had spoken, moments passed. Complete silence from the Uchiha boy, until his body began to twitch again, hands slowly moving to the bench as he tried to grasp the seat to pull himself up. Swaying still continued of course, until Yomonaru sat up fully, head looking down as the boy tried to regain some composure. He wasn't dead- that was good. Any scratches, bruises, that Yomonaru received as soon as the Chuunin had fallen on top of him, they were completely eradicated. Another moment, and then the Uchiha slowly raised his head, vision coming to as his eyes scanned over the now five shinobi in front of him. "You..." With his right index, Yomonaru pointed at Notwen, and then at Nagamichi. He still felt wary, tired from the recovered pain. "What in the- what happened?" It was all he could muster. It wasn't everyday that someone fell out of the sky. More importantly, fell out of the sky and straight onto you. ╔══════════OOC═══════════╗

Her fellow genin's next words, made her smile grow a little. “Of course I would~ Dad will be off on a mission for a couple of days anyway, so it'll be nice to be with friends. ” She had been about to suggest something, when Cruxis suggested giant Shogi. “Giant.... Shogi?... I haven't even played regular shogi... it sounds fun Cruxis, doesn't it Takeshi? ” She asked with a smooth smile, splitting her attention between th two young men as easily as drinking water. She may not have had many friends, but she was certainly a people person, made for the job of a medic... Lord only knows what would happen to her the first time she saw a death. “So... how do you get to it? ” She asked, glancing between the two curiously, her arms behind her back as she tilted her head and watched them. Being able to hang out with these two would do wonders with her mood lately, and she knew it. Besides, she'd get to know more about these two genin she had found herself with. It felt kinda weird for Takeshi not to get right back into training or go onto his next objective. The way his family was, there was no room to slow down and if you did you would be punished. He let that thought fade though as he knew that he was not with his militant father, yet with fellow genin whom he knew very little about. There was also the half-order that his new Sensei, Notwen, have him which was to rest up and let the wound on his back heal up. It would bother him if he continued to think about it anymore, but then Cruxis chimmed in with a suggestion. It seemed that there was a rather large Shogi board in the downtown area of the village. One thing he remembered as soon as Shogi was mentioned was his father teaching his eldest brother about the military advantage that playing shogi gave someone. Since the day that they ended up leaving their home village though, His father put away his Shogi board and had yet taught him anything about the game. He knew exactly why, but there was nothing he could do about it. Then he heard Rissa state how she thought it sounded like fun, then asked Takeshi if it sounded like fun. In all honesty he didn't know but decided to give a nod suggesting that it might be fun. Like Rissa though, he didn't know where this over sized game was located so he knew that it would be up to Cruxis to lead the way. "I'm also not sure where this shogi game you mentioned is located Cruxis... I guess you'll have to lead the way"

Tarimi bit her lip, trying her best not to say a word to break the concentration. The girl's impatience almost slipped, but instead Ayaka looked wary. "W-" the shinobi said not to interfere, Ayaka simply had to stand back and look away before the sword hit Yomonaru's shoulder. Nagamichi, what was he doing? A faint glow from the sword drew Ayaka's attention back to the gathering. A healing jutsu, no doubt; Ayaka's mother had once used something similar on herself when she was severely burned as a child. When the chuunin removed his sword, Tarimi grabbed her shoulder but, Ayaka shrugged it off almost pushing her way through the strangers to be beside Yomonaru as he recovered. When the boy opened his eyes, she would have been the second, if not first thing he saw. When Yomonaru spoke in confusion, he looked over to Ayaka and she had a sign of relief that swept across her face. He was okay, and these men didn't intent on killing the group of newly grads. "Well then... Follow me! If you can keep up that is!" the gennin grinned as he leaped up onto roof and began to jump from rooftop to rooftop. He ran along the slanted tile roofs, recalling the path towards the hidden park; a fun location really - one had to traverse the rooftops, jump through a few clotheslines along the way, and make empowered jumps to get there quickly; part of the reason that Cruxis had chosen to develop his bukujutsu; the sky dance technique. The giant Shogi board was actually a part of an old man's park - and perhaps had only been a part of his training to make the rebellious youth show some patience and thinking; but nonetheless was an interesting location; the giant shogi pieces lay in place on the giant board, each square five feet by five feet; making the entire board a forty-five foot by forty-five foot square. Cruxis's father had introduced him initially to a game called Chess, which was similar to Shogi though more fast-paced and final in terms of the pieces. In Shogi one could place captured units on their own side; making captures even more important in Shogi. Thus Cruxis always tried to set up a few key points when playing Shogi because of this; a strongly protected king; a well fortified line of pawns; and the bishop, rook, and a pawn all supporting a later attack by the rook's silver or knight. However while diffifult to break down with a frontal assault, there were flaws in his sides, leaving a back door to his defenses... Similar to genjutsu in a way; while he could push the opponent with a frontal assault, attacking from means they did not expect was the true way to harm an opponent with the art. If one thought they were in a genjutsu they would try to disbelieve the genjutsu, making it less likely to affect them; a part of the reason Cruxis tried to work with mind-addling techniques they directly impacted the brain; such as his End of Reality technique. Glancing up towards the rooftop he cautiously calculated the incoming followers' angles in order to assure he would not get landed on, before maneuvering towards the board and hiding behind one of the giant pieces. Rissa blinked as she watched Cruxis leap into the air. She smiled towards Takeshi. “Guess I'm getting another work out today. Let's go Takeshi~” She turned then, leaping into the air onto the nearest roof top, following behind Cruxis as best she could, yet she still found herself falling behind bit by bit. She really needed to work on her foot work, to get faster and stronger. What was the point to being a medic if she couldn't protect herself. She glanced back behind her for a moment, before she kept going, bouncing and leaping over long leaps. Maybe she could develop a jutsu for foot movements, one to keep her out of reach of her opponent, but close enough to make strikes at them and disable them. She gave a little smile at the thought, unable to think of killing someone, even though she knew there were those out there who wouldn't hesitate to kill her. She shook her head, landing near the shogi board, breathing quicker than before, and glancing around for Cruxis, who had arrived before them, before looking back for Takeshi. He had been near her the entire time, so he wouldn't be long. She moved to the side, giving him room to land, before surveying the shogi board. It didn't resemble Go at all, the game she and her father played when he had free time. Hopefully it wouldn't be hard to learn. Quote: Lines 337 + 14 + 36(int) = 387 Lines

The whole while Nagamichi was healing Yomonaru, Notwen kept silent. He knew the extent of the genin swordsman's abilities, so he was certain that Yomonaru would end up okay. However there was something about these kids that seemed familiar. The dark-skinned blonde was sure he had never met many of them in person, but recalled seeing their faces somewhere before. Then it hit him. They are from the list of shinobi team candidates i got last year when i graduated! thought Notwen, understanding finally dawning on him. The chuunin team list came with a paper containing the photo ID's of 'star students' who were expected to graduate at some point within the year. The pictures showed the head shots of the, then younger, current genin. These guys, along with Nagamichi, Gou, and Megumi were around the middle of the first two thirds of that list. However Gou and Nagamichi were special cases. Their clans had home schooling so they seldom went to the academy for lessons so Nagamichi more than likely didn't know them either. Once the genin had finished the healing jutsu, the expressive girl pushed past them and placed herself in front of the still-groggy Yomonaru. Girlfriend perhaps? thought the dark-skinned blonde before he answered the new genin's question. "I accidentally fell on you a few minutes ago. My student, Nagamichi, " here Notwen paused to gesture to Nagamichi, "did you the favor of mending what wounds you did acquire. How do you feel now Yomonaru? " He then turned to face the other three genin that had come along. "I believe i forgot to introduce myself. My name is Notwen Uchiha, Chuunin. " Nagamichi sensed that the dark-skinned blonde's interaction with these genin would take some time due to the present turn of events. Approaching his teacher he said, "Sensei, i think it's better if i went on ahead. I'll cover the eastern side. " The three-eyed ninja nodded, at the same time weaving a set of seals with his hands. An invisible thread of chakra extended itself from his head and wound its way towards the white-haired boy."This is the Web of Intrigue, a secure mental link through which we can send our thoughts directly to one another. With this, no matter how far you are i will be able to know where you are and vice versa. Keep me posted on your route and what you find there." Nagamichi nodded."Right!" he answered mentally and hopped up to the rooftops. With one last look at his teacher before heading off to continue scouting. Once he was gone, Notwen looked over the genin again. At that time he remembered that he was supposed to go shopping for supplies. "Sorry guys, gotta go. Have a few errands to run. I'll see you guys later. Nagamichi, I'm gonna head to Gryu'jiong for a few hours to get a few supplies. Keep me posted on anything that goes on. " At once the dark-skinned blonde headed towards the Village gates once more. Quote: 30 Lines Exiting to Lightning Country

Takeshi stood as everyone ran off, in leap and bounds. There was only one reason why he wasn't moving yet. Cruxis had mentioned for them to catch him if they could. Takeshi was smirking as if it was a challenge, which is the exact way Takeshi was going to take it. If he wasn't aloud to train, he wouldn't miss this opertunity to race. He leaped onto the roof of the closest building and watched as the two rushed away from him. He would wait until they were quiet aways away knowing that at the speed they were going he could catch up to them. Part of his Taijutsu training after all was being able to out-move his opponents, so a race was something he knew he was good at. Once Takeshi thought that the two had a long enough lead, he dashed forward. One of the few times he was able to use his full speed was ether in full out training, or just when he felt like it and had the room to actually do so safely. As he full out sprinted, he could feel the gusts of wind press against his face, a light breeze at this speed felt much stronger, yet still held little resistance. Always looking forward, he could see he was fast approaching both Rissa and Cruxis. He knew that it was this moment that he would need to slow down since there was little chance to slow down in an instant. He'd finally caught up to Rissa, just after she'd turned her head back forward from looking back. He was on the other side in which shoulder she looked over so she wouldn't have seen him. They were really close to the shogi board now, so close that everyone could see it in fact. The running had stopped, and all there was in between them was a rather small (to him) leap to reach the ground level. Leaping with little care, he aimed for an open area of the ground so he could land. When landing, the first part of his body to impact was his left foot and right knee at the same time. He landed in a kneeling position like he normally did, but this time it was with much more force then he hand hoped for. When he stood up he noticed that his knee had made an indentation in the ground. Oh well... no one was going to kill themselves from that dip in the ground so he moved over to Rissa and looked around for Cruxis, who was out of sight even though he'd gotten there before anyone else.

When Cruxis had left to hide, he had left trace amounts of chakra where he'd first landed, intending to experiment with an idea that had come to mind that utilized his genjutsu. The primary focus of Genjutsu was affecting the opponent's mind directly; but influencing surroundings could also qualify, and so the experiment was in projecting himself where he was not. In essence instead of a shadow clone he would be creating a Genjutsu clone. Taking hold of the chakra he'd left he began to mold it into his image."Can't you catch me yet?" the illusory Cruxis appeared in the same spot that he had left the trace amounts of chakra, so the technique worked well enough; and though the voice had been slightly off, he doubted they would notice. He smiled glad that his latest idea had paid off but he had no time to waste. If he was going to investigate the extent of this idea he would have to hurry and master the technique at an inhuman rate. The gennin laughed as he thought about what he said. Inhuman, although he had made great advances both in training himself and unlocking his true powers, he doubted he would ever have the nerve to forgo what he truly was for power; the only truly inhuman thing about him was his Ryuugan eye, and even that was something he at leasth ad basic control over. He pushed these thoughts from his mind though, he had no time to think them he had to work fast now as they had started looking in the illusory self's direction. Manipulating the chakra, Cruxis caused the vision to blur as if it had used a speed technique before appearing atop one of the giant pieces on the opposite end of the board. "Over here!" the illusory Cruxis grinned again with a gleeful smile; before leaping down in front of the piece and making a sour face towards Takeshi; "You're it!" the illusory Cruxis taunted hoping to lure Takeshi into attempting to tag him; which of course would drive the Kaguya into colliding with the giant Shogi piece as it was merely an illusion.
