The Doctor gingerly touched his bandaged arm, now hidden beneath his coat's sleeve. The wound was still quite fresh and tender.
"Right... well, I think you heal a tad faster than a Time Lord," he said with a sheepish smile.

Ally looked at him with a surprised look. "You mean to say that I have finally gotten to be better at something then a time lord?!" she said as it had been the best day of her life. She put her hands together and thanked god.

"You know I never said we were better at everything," he huffed before adding, "just most things..."
He smiled at her glad that she was feeling better.

The Doctor smiled to himself. He was glad Ally was in such high spirits even after such a dark night. He decided then and there he wouldn't tell her about the doomed fate of the hatchlings. Better to keep her happy with a lie, than give her heartache with the cruel truth. He absently grabbed his wounded arm and gave her a kind look.
"Well, if you're feeling better now..." he said clearing his throat, "I suppose we should get going. TARDIS is parked out back, and there shouldn't be any unpleasantness now that the sun is up."

Ally raised an eyebrow at him as she stood up. "We should first pick out some apple's for the travels to come then." she said while walking out of the door.

The Doctor sighed and stood up to follow her. His arm was going to smart for days.
Outside the door, straight in Ally's path was a baby Leviathan. It cheeped at her and sat down, it's long tail swishing playfully. Around its neck was a silver chain with the shard a starsoul sapphire as a pendant.

Ally looked down at the Leviathan and a huge smile went over her face as she started to cuddle with the creature. She looked at the pendant and a sad smile went over her face. She looked back at the doctor "Can we keep him?"

The Doctor seemed at a loss for words.
"I don't think... ah, sorry, how did you get in here?" he asked the small leviathan.
The Leviathan chirped and glanced down the banister. Ten more hatchlings were asleep in the living room.

The Doctor genuinely smiled at the BatWolf.

Ally petted the Leviathan with a tender smile. Her and the Leviathan seemed to connect in some way.

The Leviathan purred and rubbed the top of his head against Ally.
"Ally, he's not a pet. He's a sentient creature that isn't going to stay..." he waved his hand over the hatchling. "...well he isn't going to stay THAT size and shape forever."
Even as he protested he knew it was useless. If Ally wanted to take the Leviathan, he would let her have it.

Ally gave him the puppy dog eyes. "It's not like your Tardis isn't big enough for him." she said while hugging the leviathan
[I keep imagining these things as those creatures in harry potter that are all skin and stuff XD]

Ally pouted, "Do I really? I am technically just your guest. It's not like i live with you now so why should I clean up?"

"Oi! It's your pet... sorry, not pet, erm... companion... he's your responsibility," he said crossing his arms showing he meant business. "If you don't like it he has a perfectly sensible home here."
The small Leviathan chirped sleepily not entirely sure as to what the people in the room were talking about.
