Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
"Oh." For some bizarre reason Daemon's explanations always rendered his brains to mush. Instead of being able to accept the knowledge for it's own sake (and they were always full and correct any way), it was valid because Daemon said so. There was a senior charm about him, in the same way a child's logic is built upon their parent's word. At the same time he found this extremely repulsive. "Wouldn't put money on it? I would think there'd be a lot of money to be made for any one who could work it out..." What the hell WAS he saying?
Just shut up and let him flirt with the women, kid. Nam agreed with the mysterious suggestion and suddenly became very fascinated with the floor.

Agreeing with Daemons explanation I still wanted add my voice to the mix."The reason magically charmed Muggle vehicles still work around Hogwarts is because the magic placed on them basically override the original Muggle electronics. Now if you were to bring a Muggle computer straight up with no magic attached to it in any way, it would not work here at Hogwarts because of all the magically interference around the school. And as for Daemon’s comment about not putting money on Muggle technology with magic laced inside it, is because a lot of wizards still don’t have an interest in Muggle technology.”

He had not quite grasped what was being said in its entirety, but had some knowledge of muggle cars, as he had muggle relatives himself. He cleared his throat to get the Gryffindor's attention " Why is it, you think, that wizards or witches lack an interest in muggle artifacts?" his big, blue eyes were filled with intrigue. To him it seemed a bit silly that wizards being alongside muggles had not thought joint efforts and technologies could be useful or profitable

Looking over at Dorian who it seemed was trying to get my attention, I listened to his question when he was finished I said,"True-fully I don't know why some witches and wizards are not interested in joint tech between us and Muggle's. I'm not one of those, I have was brought up learning about both Muggle and Magic lifestyles, so I have a good understanding of Muggle tech. Maybe it's just that we are stuck in our way's and don't want to expand, that and we don't want magically enchanted items falling into Muggle hands."

First year. Dorian nodded and agreed with Kenneth's point of view. "I myself too was exposed to muggle technology before coming to Hogwarts."

Aludra Yvette... "Yes, an iPod or whatever you called it. But then again I would have no idea what to do with it." she sighed. It was always so hard for her to keep herself entertained while class was slow. Aludra heard the guys talking about technology and shut off their conversation almost imediantly. She had no knowledge of that stuff whatsoever. ...6th Year Slytherin

"You know what Dorian your not that bad, I've had some bad experience with your fellow male Slytherin's and they warped my view of you guys. Although one of those experiences was all a misunderstanding on both our parts. So where you Muggle born, or half-blood? As for me I'm Half-blood, Dad was pure-blood, while my mum was a muggle born witch, she's the one who insisted that I learn both sides, and my Dad agreed, he doesn't have a problem with Muggles."

Cloud looked up. I've been working on the gerbil professor, I think I've gotten the spell down pretty well. I'm almost confident that I could perform the spell to heal an actual injury. Cloud was interested in the talk on Muggle technology around her, but she felt like she couldn't really jump in on the conversation without feeling a little awkward. Both of Cloud's parents were witch and wizard, but she was still exposed to both Muggle things and magic growing up. She indeed had a computer and iPod back at home, and knew how to use them quite well. Cloud walked over to Aludra, who looked slightly confused. What's on your mind? It doesn't seem like we've talked much recently... She sat down and put her hands in the pockets of her robe.

Daemon Sadi Seventh year Slytherin studentDaemon chuckled softly. "I'll tell you what. I have an iPod in my dorms. When we get out, I'll try and see if I can't use magic on it's parts to ,ake it work. I'll do it in the libary since it'd need input. Anyone interested?" He glanced around.

I will see if it works. However, wouldn't using magic on it make it more unable to work because of the fact that the more magic is around technology the more it refuses to work?

Looking over at Daemon I said,”Sure lets experiment, that’s always fun.”Getting up from my chair I gave Aludra a kiss and said,”I’m going to head to the library with Daemon I’ll see you later.”I then turned and left the room deciding to head to the library and wait for Daemon there.

Alright, splendid, thank you Cloud. I'll wait for a few more people to catch up on the gerbil, and then we'll move on

He decided to give the mending charm one last try...as practice makes perfect. Dorian got on his feet and grabbed the gerbil skeleton to then place it on the floor. This time he wanted a true challenge. He analysed the task at hand and began to smash the bones with both his feet. The bones snapped like toothpicks upon impact. The cracking noise was kind of annoying, but once he was done there were splintered pieces of bone dispersed around Dorian. The largest chunks were those from the cranium. He grabbed and held his wand firmly and extended his arm and tensed up every muscle in his body, his lips tightened with determination...he shut his eyes close and envisioned clearly what it is he wanted to accomplish. He raised his voice this time to recite as one who gives an order and expects results... "EPISKEY!" . Although his eyes were closed he could feel the charm working on the splintered bones...how they were re-assembling themselves into ribs, extremities, vertebrae and cranium. When he re-opened his eyes, he beamed with pride and beheld the fruit of his effort, determination and willpower : the intact skeleton of a gerbil.
