Lena ran up to the hospital with amazing speed from her demon form. She stopped at the door and set her mom down then backed up so the shadows would hide her. She watched as a few ambulance drivers ran up to her mom and carried her inside the hospital

Nikolai ran over to lena, but again tripped. "Seriously!?" he said and stood up. "hey Lena...you ok? sorry about your mom....i had to do it."

Lena looked up at Nikolai then back at the hospital. "I'm.... ok." she muttered, keeping her demon mask on so nobody would see how upset she was.

he walked over to her. "Lena, i know your upset. Im here for you, like i always will." he said and smiled softly at her

She hesitated then looked up at him slowly. "You know me so well." she said, her voice breaking. She ran up and hugged him while her mask broke apart then buried her face in his chest and started crying.

he smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "its alright, let it out, Nikolai's here." he smiled and rocked gently

"You should've.... let her kill me!" Lena said between sobs. "I deserve it!" she cried. What, you going to kill me like you did your father? She couldn't keep that line out of her head.

he looked at her and told her something that he told himself when he did something he was ashamed of. "Lena, Yesterday is history, tomarrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. thats why they call it the present"
