This Is For Real,
Waiting patiently for Devlin to go about his checking, she raises an eyebrow at his question. Was her Russian so bad that he had to ask? She was rusty, she knew that, but hadn't thought it was that bad. Not commenting on that, she gives a small nod. "I'm not great with Cyrillic, but I am familiar. But the closest I've driven to a tank is a Humvee." she responds, almost seeming sheepish once more. Hearing a phone going off, she pats her skirt pocket to check on her own, only to stop when she hears Andrew answer his. Waiting patiently to see what was going on, she tilts her head in question at the words 'family blessing'. She wasn't quite sure what that meant, but it obviously seemed to need his immediate attention. Frankly, she was disappointed, but she wouldn't say as much. "I hope so as well." she responds, smiling at him. The expression was slightly different than it had before, not so filled with energy; it was a more serious type of smile, though a curious expression remained dominant in her eyes.

"Well then, Sorry to see you go Andrew give my regards To Loyd and your sister when you see them." He said after a moment he knew about what was going on considering Emily was dating Loyd's brother. Turning to Rina he chuckled "No I wasn't saying your Russian was bad, just saying the alphabet is a whole'nother animal. The controls are simple, considering a goodly number of Russian forces are still draftees. he said and frowned coughing for a moment. 'I wasn't though." He said shrugging remember some unpleasant times with his own family over the ordeal. With that he began to climb slowly into the turret before pointing at the hathc in the front of the tank right below the turret. "Now if you would be as kind as to climb on in we'll get the show on the road." he said smiling.

This Is For Real,
Frowning faintly when her thoughts were invaded, though she said nothing on the matter. Blockading the small portion of her mind still wondering about Andrew's 'family blessing', she instead turns her full attention to the present time. She could always ask later, when they inevitably ran into each other again. When he directed her into the hatch, however, her expression brightened considerably and she immediately dropped down into the area below. Glancing around, she looks almost like a kid in a candy store. Taking her position at the controls, she takes a few minutes to familiarize herself with the controls, translating the Cyrillic to her best ability as she went. When she was as comfortable as she thought she was going to be, she called out to the man in the turret. "Ready?"

"All I'm missing is the cocoa for this relaxing drive miss So ease on into it." He said as he began to look through his periscopes and those of the gunners had there been one there to get a good look everywhere and anywhere around the tank. Switching through the various viewing modes. it was something like riding a bike you didn't forget and if you were rusty it just took a little bit to remember the basics.

This Is For Real,
Slowly, the tank began to move. Rina's hands flew across the controls, checking and rechecking every variable that came to mind. The tank rumbled on over the sand, its powerful engine rumbling excitedly. The young Sylph steering the large, and extremely dangerous, vehicle along the beach, and eventually up onto the roads. She had a vague idea of where the ROTC grounds were, she had flown over them when she had first arrived at the school, and assumed that directions would be called to her should she stray from the proper course. Steering along the streets, very careful of any pedestrians and other obstacles, her mind continued to move at top speeds to stay in complete control of the large machine.

Taking the binoculars from the inside of the turret Devlin casually sat half in the tank and half out of the hatch looking through the field glasses as he called them. Every now and again calling corrections in the direction of the tank through the headset. it was a a very nostalgic feeling being in the tank though he never personally commanded a vehicle or was part of the crew of a tank though he had rode on several to get to more tricky spots in country when he was deployed except for with the Americans. "You know... this brings me back." he said getting double vision one view the darkness of the campus grounds as their beast lumbered noisily through the quiet and sleepy streets of the academy and the other a slight apparition of things he'd seen with the soviets and the Americans. bright desolate sandy streets blinking his left eye and the vision was gone. "Yea, I must say this go around though is much more agreeable I bloody hated the heat the last time." He finished.

This Is For Real,
Smiling faintly as she listened to her teacher reminisce, Rina continued to move the tank as directed. Her comfort level had increased dramatically, and she felt as though she knew what she was doing. Now, that didn't mean she was ready for combat or anything of the sort, but for this simple journey to the ROTC grounds, she was comfortable. Laughing at his comment about the heat, she did have to admit that the weather that night was fairly cool and agreeable. They were nearing their destination, and Rina was almost disappointed; she was really starting to have fun, now that she wasn't terrified of screwing up. Seeing the grounds just up ahead, she steers the tank towards the most open space.
{Exit to ROTC grounds.}

 Coral after moving into her dorm room decided to go down to the beach standing just in the shallow part and allowing the water to roll in splashing up over her ankles and feet a small happy sigh escapes her lips as she decides to quietly sing in her birth language out over the beautiful ocean her face sad and longing .

Aurora found herself at the beach, her mind homesick when so close to the water. She had left her sister back at thier dorm, as they agreed time exploring would be fun with some seperation. Slowly stepping into the water's edge, she removed her sandals, savoring the feel of salt water on her skin.

Looking up from the gentle waves, Aurora caught another women, looking about the same age as herself, looking. Shouting with a smirk, she spoke, "My, it's rude to stare." Laughing lightly to herelf, she had to resist from diving in the water, or singing, as she had the strangest urge to lure someone nearer.

Nodding to the women's words, she let a smile play across her face, sincerity in her voice as she spoke, "Yes. As you clearly do. But...you don't seem human. What race do you come from?"

Smiling, Aurora answered, as she held no problem explaining what she was. "I am a Siren of the Sea. My name is Aurora, twin sister to Dawn, and we hail from the Solindo's." She took a quick glance to her feet, glad to feel the water lap onto her toes before being drawn back into the ocean. "Your turn." she commented, a smile still on her face.
