"Yeah! Isn't that awesome! Originally, I went to this island everyone calls Serenity Island..And that's when I found there ship. Of course I went in to explore it. They had treasures in there. Captain Cardiff gave me this." She slid her hand into her pocket, and pulled out the pink diamond the size of her own fist. "They had lots like this..Oh! But, there good pirates, they don't kill innocent people and rob ships like everyone says Pirates do. They were at one point umm...cursed, or something..Kadie killed the bad guy that cursed them but he's not so friendly with them anymore.." She shrugged her shoulders, slipping the diamond back into her pocket. "We gotta find a blue one for you..Then we will both have one!"
At his next words, Ariel's eyes lit up! "Oh, yeah!! We can look under water for as long as we want then!! Yay I can't wait!"
As Ariel had taken the time to speak with the planet there, it took only a few seconds before she opened her eyes again, her hand sliding away from the circler button like objects on the structure. "They're saying he's escaped, but he's in some place...called...the Devils Tower?? That doesn't even sound good..How can he not be in danger! He's..with..his dad,and another relative over there..." The young teen crossed her arms, rather upset about this. Here she was worried to death, seeking out the Ancients for answers and getting caught up in a Jenova mess and he was off in some dangerous tower! He was so getting scalded later.. ".....Should we still go there? If he's with his dad..He's probably a lot safer then we are right now..I just don't know if we can find it..They weren't exactly great on giving me the way to find it!."

Renka was glad to see Ariel so excited...and was impressed at the size of that diamond she had.. He had no desire for one, unless it had some kind of magic enhancing quality...and he still had that dolphin pendant she gave him quite some time ago.
He thought about what she said the ancients told her.."I'm not sure....if we don't know where it is we can't exactly just go to it. If you're set on going though I will help in any way I can.." Renka just wanted to keep Ariel safe, if it was her choice to go someplace dangerous then he'd just follow to make sure nothing happened to her. "..did they tell you about any landmarks or anything around it?"
((sorry..been a bit braindead lately..at least with peaceful stuff...my sister got me pissed....again..she always has to make a huge thing out of nothing and blame it on mom.))

Ariel was still wearing the azure colored sparkling necklace he had given to her during there last treasure hunt in the ruins, of all the treasure she could ever find, this one would always remain as her favorite. As it was her first gift ever, but from a friend which made it all the more special to her.
Nodding faintly, the young teen smiled softly. "Thank you, Renka.. But, If you think we shouldn't go since they can't seem to give me any real
specifics, I guess...I don't know! It just feels wrong to give up..Even if he's with them I'm still worried..They all get into trouble all the time." Ariel gave off a small, almost annoyed sigh! She wasn't very thrilled about this. He could at least tried to reach her by the mind link just to tell her he was safe! "We can..travel by the Chocobo maybe, and if we run into it by some miracle then great! If not, then..we might be able to find a means of better transportation.." She grinned slightly at that. "Ragnarok..I have yet to ride in that airship!"
(( ooc: It's alright. Completely understand..Does you're mom stand up for her self at all against those bratty siblings of yours? It's just so wrong how they treat there own family..So wish we could slap some sense into those two! ))

Renka thought about that and nodded after a moment, "You won't have to give up, traveling by chocobo is a good idea 'cause we could stop at a town if we come across one and ask if anyone knows about that Devil Tower place." the mention of a Ragnarok confused him for a moment, she said it was an airship..but he also knew of a powerful spell with that name.. He ended up grinning with Ariel though and nodding, "An airship would be another good way...but if we somehow manage to find that place or Kaden first we should still just find a way to get a ride in the airship for fun."
((usually..no...for two reasons, mom has ptsd thanks to a rather violent incident many years ago, and if anyone says anything my sister doesn't like she just yells even more... -.- ))

Ariel's ability to just flick some internal switch and be so happy still managed to puzzle Renka..he could sort of do that, but with him it was usually an act. He wasn't really 'alright' with trying to find a place that might be dangerous.. but he just wanted her to be happy no matter what.. seeing that smile of hers made a real smile come from him. The mention of a 'fun camp out in the wilderness' did coax a chuckle from him, "Yep, we'll be camping...making little fires...wrestling bears...fishing.." he listed off as he walked alongside Ariel. Camping always had a few risks, but he wasn't going to mention them...he'd just put up a barrier when they settled down. Food wouldn't be a problem either, he knew what was and wasn't eatable and even knew a spell to detect any kind of poison if he wasn't sure about something.
((ohhhh, yeah...many have tried..including me, turns into a big shout-a-thon and ends with her running off. I doubt anyone would be able to get her to be nice, she'd bite their heads off and dismiss them as psycho/idiot/morons. ))

Ariel giggled at his words. Somehow that image stuck into her head, and it was quite funny! "Hee-hee! We'll be like two old folks gone fishin' in a nice creek, watching the bears catch fish until they start chasing us!" She was so easily entertained,though nature and her alway's were a great mix. Possibly why she loved searching for treasures, it was always outside and not in a city or town most the time.As they walked across the bridge that lead out of the city, in the distance near the many white softly glowing trees they would see a Golden Chocobo there, pecking at the ground as though eating little bugs off the ground. Strangely, beside her was another Chocobo that was just laying there watching. The Chocobo had white markings in it's golden feathers, that gave it a sort of flowery look. "Huh? Lily? Wow..Crystal has a stalker. How cute! That's Lily, her baby...Well, not so little anymore! " Ariel laughed and waved a hand to the two birds. "Crystal! Lily! Were ready to go!" With that said, both birds were up and right away rushed to both of there sides. The slightly older one, Crystal stopped near Renka where as the younger one went to Ariel. The two birds dipped to the ground some to let the two get on. "This is convenient.." She grinned as she carefully mounted Lily.
(( ooc: Gah..x.x I feel like going Fujin and yelling RAGE! You and you're mom should try to save up and move out and let those two brats who think they know all find there own way to live. If you're brother can buy $200 dollars worth of pants, surly he can get a apartment? ))

Again Renka caught that happiness that just seemed to come from Ariel and laughed at what she'd said...it did make quite the funny scene though. "Ha...if a bear did try to chase us I'd just make it mini...then it'd be like cute pet or something.." he added to the brief random scene. Renka blinked at the chocobos when they finally got to where they were were waiting....wait..they? A very small hope of Renka's sort of died away as he carefully pet the forehead of the chocobo called Crystal that came to him before getting on the large bird. A part of him hadn't minded the thought of being close to Ariel for awhile.....but he continued to cast a warm smile, "Never actually ridden one of these before...doesn't seem too different from a horse."
(( -.- meh...he's hardly around anymore..just comes here to sleep and shower....then gone. Sister doesn't even live with us, hasn't for years, just comes around when she wants money or to drop her dog off... xD you crushed Renka's secret desire..or at least the chocobos did. ))

Renka thought about her question for a second, "Well..the longest I know of it lasting was a few years..but someone had changed it back on purpose that time. So it could last forever I suppose." he finally answered...leaving out that it had been a person was left in a mini state for a few years..and that the person was killed..not turned back.. At the brief summer of the talented chocobos Renka grinned a bit, "Is that right..? Nice to know.. we could have fun getting lost and they be able to get us back to a town or something." though he could just as easily transport them if that did happen. The last thing Ariel said just made him laugh, "Yeah, onward to the unknown our feathered friends."
(( xD ha, if it were only that easy... and yeah she does, but she still tries to get anything she can out of anyone around her. can't close the door on her 'cause mom's a hopeful fool..wishfully thinking she might be nice one of these times. heh, choco theme is good..I forget which game had the best one.. ~Renka:-pouting in an emo corner-))

Renka just smiled as Ariel started making some mental list of the animals she'd want chibified as pets...it was so easy to make that girl happy.. a mini animal, a piece a jewelery, seeing others happy and safe... it made him wonder if there was something that she wouldn't get all happy about, aside from the usual anyway.
When the two chocobos warked in objection to Ariel's first choice of a chibi creature Renka chuckled a bit and gently pet Crystal's neck.. "Maybe we should start with something else..like a ...turtle...or a dog or something." These birds were definitely smart and much more interesting a then a normal horse..he liked them already. He grinned at her last comment, "Definitely....and people can find the best stuff after getting lost..'cause if you only end up where you wanted to go there wouldn't be any surprises waiting."
(( not really....they act normal and nice when there's a group of people around, but that's about it. xD agh, that winhil choco....was never able to catch again after the adult come to try to run Squall over..it always escaped. ..I think it was 9's theme that's my fave.. As the group wandered out of the city, the last gentle glow of the trees would fade away as they made there way out. Ariel looked back to Renka, thinking about the suggestion of a Turtle or a dog. "You know..I always wanted one of those super tiny turtles. There the cutest things on the planet! And a even smaller one might actually kill me. " She joked, if one could die from over-loads of cuteness, she was to be the first victim! A small grin formed at the young Cetra's features at his last words. Renka was just to much fun! No "It's to dangerous!" or "You can't go" it was just all out fun and not complete worry. "Right! We are going to have so much fun..This, and then when we go back to Pirate land and search for treasures...I have to tell them to go to the island we found. It was pretty! There was a this cliff that's hidden by trees and plants, so if you didn't watch you' res step you fall right down into a massssiiiivee river! There's a big waterfall too, but the vine there you can grab onto and swing across, let go and fall in. You have no idea how fun that was! If I could have flown up, I would have gone up there 100 times. Free ride! "
(( ooc: Ohhs. Record there bratty ways secretly, then when people are around, show there true colors! Muahaha!
Hmm.. Suddenly I can't rememeber that one! *Flys to youtube* lol. Ohhh. xD It sounds almost Hawaiian at the start.That was a funny one.

Renka knew it was likely a figure of speech, but he still didn't like that thought...at all. "I really hope that wouldn't happen...might have to give you a normal turtle just in case.." he replied with a grin..joking a bit as well, he'd still probably give her a mini-turtle later, though he figured he should also enhance the defense of whatever creature he did shrink so none of them got squished on accidentally..
Ariel's tale of of an island that had hidden cliff, waterfall, and a swinging vine that was apparently rather fun amused him, "We really will have to go there...'cause I can help you fly...at least enough to get you on top the cliff again." he smiled at her. Glancing back briefly as they were leaving the city of the ancients...he'd grown used to the strange place after hiding out here to find a spell to counter Kai's, but he wasn't sad to leave or anything. "..but before we go off on a real treasure hunt we aught to find Kaden, so he doesn't get left out of the fun."
(( heh, that's be funny..... xD that's why I like it..no matter what's going in it will make you smile..such a cute melody.. ))
