Baihu smiled at his fiancee. He secretly couldn't wait to marry here. Just so he could wake up every morning with a beautiful girl next to him. "English is the fifth language that I learned." The man pointed out. He only learned English for business reasons. He already knew Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. He then kissed her cheek with a little peck.

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo. Care To Dance?" Nodding energetically at Vera's initial question, she allowed her to think it through. It seemed that she had reached the same conclusion, so Aurora didn't feel the need to repeat herself. Instead, she spoke up about her opinions regarding the teacher. "She gives alot of work. And yes, she's a Timelady, so she had some interesting stories about the universe...but she can still strict." She sighed, as if remembering her own punishment from the past. However, when she looked back to Vera, she added quickly, "Not to worry, though! Baihu said he'd help you, even if he does like to show off about all his languages." She grinned, her expression showing that she was, at least, partially joking. While she had no qualms with the man, she wasn't a full supporter of his either; not until she was sure that he would treat her friend right.

Vera smiled back at her fiancé, fingers touching at the top joint's pad but otherwise far apart. "Third, for me..." she murmured. Making a weird not-quite-keening sound of surprise...but keeping it quiet, Vera flushed as Baihu pecked her cheek. Yes, they were arranged to be married even if it was just a bet...which Vera still held some annoyance about...and yes she liked him, but... Vera still wasn't entirely sure how to deal with his lovingness. She wanted to be a proper Elf as well as Dragon, and with the way she had been raised it was hard to tell which attitudes were her driving force. But she felt safe around him and...content, almost...so Vera tried to show her appreciation for his concern and care for her by responding. She just wasn't always certain how she could do so. Which reminded Vera; she had wanted Aurora's help with making him something... Flushing and tapping Ozora's nose with a wink, Vera made her light-footed way closer to the siren, a bit closer than she normally would have but still politefully away. "Ah, while we're in this section...is it possible for you to help me with..." Whispering the rest veeeeery quietly in the siren's ear, Vera stepped back and tilted her head with a calm expression on her face as she waited for an answer. "Well, maybe he can help me learn those too..." Vera decided cheerfully.

Baihu was curious as to what she was whispering to Aurora. It was clear that she didn't want him to hear what was going on and that didn't make the man any less curious about what they were talking about. The man sat down and started to flip open his books and read them a little as the girls talked. They were busy plotting anyways.

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo. Care To Dance?" Watching as Vera approached her, she leaned closer to catch the whispers in her ear. After a moment, she nodded, a small smile on her face as told her, "Of course~" She spun to face the books once more, in hopes of finding the sort that would help. Aurora could spend a few minutes looking through these before she had to buckle down and finish her work, but procastinating just this once wouldn't hurt anybody.
While Giovanni was not the sort to detour easily from a goal, he had never before been as frustrated by a search as he was now. After a long and boring boatride, he'd arrived onto the school's campus, and immediately sought out help at the information desk. He'd been given a room number, and after a series of loud knocking, he was sure that his sister was no where inside. That meant that she was running about somewhere in this huge, ridiculously large and complicated campus. Vanni spent a good portion of the afternoon looking at fields and stables and random classrooms, but he hadn't seen anyone that matched the description given by his mother, nor the one given by the dragons he'd met. So, he found his way to the library, where he meant to hole up until evening with a story or something; surely by then, his sister would be back in her room, and he would be able to find her easily then.

Excited, but keeping herself contained, Vera helped Aurora look, silently pointing at a few various things so even if Baihu WAS watching and would check later, he still wouldn't be able to catch on to her plans. Remembering Aurora had work to do, Vera reluctantly took the books and put some away, her mind able to remember what she wanted. Going to Baihu to give him a hug and a warning he better not peek, Vera took the few books she had and set off a bit of a ways away to curl her slender feet...shoeless, of course...under her to read. Her current selection was a giant tome about making magical items, the half-elf moving her lips silently while working out the harder translations...it was a mix of Latin, Dragon and Old English...with a little help from Gyer as he poked his very-solid head out from behind her shirt to peer at the book. They got into a quiet discussion over a translation of a spell, since depending on who was right it had very different effects. Living up to Aurora's observation, Vera didn't notice as her soothingly beautiful low voice...almost all of the "rock" from speaking rough Dragon that had made it more interesting than captivatingt gone, to leave an almost sultry thrilling sound with the low tones still present...carried over to pointed ears. Vera, be reasonable. Even if you apply this crux here, there's no guarantee the alchemist would have kept the notes this way! Vera shook her head. No, but this is a school...even if they are meant to harbor any and all beings who need such information, do you think they would leave such a mistake for someone to try in such a book? No, I'm fairly certain what's written here...in fresh ink, may I add...is what is pertinent... she argued back in Dragon, sighing as Gyer disappeared when someone came up although she was deep in her reading again by then and so wasn't really noticing much around her.(I forgot if I had her cut her hair or even what exactly she was wearing... s: backtrack time! Lol)

The actions of the girls just made the man just made him just more curious. It was clear that his bride was thinking something. "Vera if you keep making me curious then I'll have to tickle you." He warned her. It was going to be a long read if they didn't tell him soon. He wasn't focused on his reading at all. At the same time he knew that if he kept his eyes on the girls then they would scold him. It was a lose/lose situation. The man sighed and got up. He was going to walk around the library.

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo. Care To Dance?" Just when she would have mentioned her essay, it seemed that Vera remember, so she simply gave a nod and made sure her friend was comfortable with her books before she moved to another section of the library dedicated to culture and history. After a few minutes, she had several volumes in her arms, so she found her way to a table a few feet away from Vera. Sitting down, she opened the first book, her eyes scanning the pages as she skimmed through them. When she flipped to a fresh page of her notebook, Aurora could hear her friend's soft voice, reminding her once again that in that language, she could rival a siren's way of speaking. Refraining from mentioning such, as it would only distract her and Vera, she turned her attention once more to the Chinese culture.
He heard the words when he was already sitting and comfortable against a bookshelf. Vanni had a book of fairytales in his hands, and he was currently contemplating the stupidy of starving german children, so when he heard talking, he was almost annoyed. After all, they were in a library, and whoever was speaking was slowly getting louder, although he knew very little of the language that was being spoken. What he did understand was a name. That name, Vera, was unique enough that he jumped to his feet, one hand shoving his book back onto the shelf as he tried to decide where the mixture of words was coming from. He wandered a bit, but there were times when he couldn't hear anything, and he began to wonder if he'd lost whatever lead he might have had.

(What language do your people think she was speaking?? XD I was originally thinking English, but maybe Latin?? Lmao) Being reminded by Gyer to hush, Vera's voice trailed off as she studied the book and chuckled at Baihu's warning. A note on seductive spells made Vera think of her friend, and the half-elf put the book down for a moment to look around for the siren. Smiling when she found her, Vera stood and went over to get a peek at what Aurora was talking about. "Why not talk to Baihu?" she suggested, as Aurora seemed to be having difficulty with something. At least, that's how it appeared to the half-elf. "He's Chinese...and might remember things from way back then..." Vera murmured, keeping her voice quiet as she backed up her argument with valid points. Then she returned to her reading, deciding she would look for stuff for her gift idea to Aurora too. Again, her nose was in the book, the top of Vera's head and tips of her ears barely visible over the rim of the large tome, the book almost as big as her torso and as thick as she was. Gyer grumbled something in Dragon and Vera responded, lilting her voice with attitudes she had heard Aurora use from time to time when annoyed.(Oh yeah...jeans and a loose t-shirt with a low back for her wings...and Gyer to move around)(and gyaaah! >.< Cherry's off)

Baihu stuffed the books he had been reading back into the bookshelf. He didn't bother to put them back in order and hoped that some librarian would do it for him. The man then walked to another section. This time it was English literature. He found himself staring at poems and most importantly the Shakespeare poetry. He knew he was a master at writing love poems, but that was something he didn't know if Vera would like.

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo. Care To Dance?" Jumping slightly when she heard Vera's voice at her shoulder, she calmed quickly, and laughed for a moment at her own reaction. She'd actually started focusing on the words on the page, though it still wasn't incrediably interesting to her. Nodding at he suggestion, she told her, "I will if I'm still on paragraph two by tonight. Thanks, Vera." She glanced around for Baihu, just able to see him wandering about and looking at books. Well, he wasn't a bad sort, and if Vera was right, then he could help her; yes, she would remember to ask him some questions later. Letting her friend return to her spot, she turned her attention back to the book, pencil rolling between her fingertips as she thought.
When he was sure that he wouldn't hear any more snippets of sentences, Giovanni sighed. He would return to his reading, then, if he could find his way to where he'd been. Turning around in a complete cirlce, he realized that that would be a rather difficult task. Sighing, he earned a look from a passing librarian. but he was otherwise left alone to find his way. As he walked, he found himself near some tables, and managed to spot a blue haired girl sitting at one. Taking a second glance at her face, he almost grinned, finding her beauty to be flawless, and when she spoke, he realized he'd never heard anything to compare. Then he registered what had actually been said, and his face lit up as his gaze swept to another girl, the one who's name had to be Vera.
Ignoring the blue-haired girl, he studied the person he was almost sure was his sister. She was as his mother described, though those words came from memories decades ago, and he realized that they ran off of the emotions that came from Vera. Instead, he recalled pictures given to his mind by the dragons, and he smiled inwardly at the matches. Swiftly, he approached the woman, and just as he was about to speak he paused. What was he supposed to say? 'Hey, I'm your long lost brother.' seemed rather heartless. Nontheless, he crossed the last few steps to Vera, his words tumbling from his mouth without much thought. "Vera Silversoul-of-the-winds, how've you been for these past...oh, hundred and some odd years?"

 Chad stepped into the library with a few books in hand and a pencil in his pocket he looked like a cheerful man and i kind one students said hello to him like he had been here for years, which he hadn't he had just recently came to the school from Spain. he set his things down at a table and walked over to fined some more books to help his new students in understanding Arabic. He saw a few people chatting across the way he tilted his head a bit as he pulled a book out 'I wonder if they are a friendly bunch.' he said as he turned his attention to the books

In the middle of a debate with Gyer, it took Vera a moment to realize her tattoo/guardian had gone silent and disappeared because a young-looking man came up. Blinking, Vera slowly tilted her head up at Giovanni with a puzzled expression. "Enhhhh?? No one's called me that for a while," she exclaimed...quietly...with a curious but wary expression at the other elf. Raising a hand to rub at her ears nervously, Vera shook her head and quickly stood to her six-foot height, feet in socks, to stare at the stranger. "Um, I've been okay. And you are.....?" she wanted to know as her voice trailed off, instead demanding who the hell Giovanni was like she wanted to. The tiniest bit of unease was in her tone, as Vera hadn't used her full...and most formal...name in four years, when she first came here. Only those used to her mood or sensitive to such things would notice Vera's discomfort, though she didn't show it outside of speaking in a stiffer and more polite manner to this older-than-her-looking man, and her cautious look at him.("Who the hell are you, and why're you talking to me??! 0_0" = Vera's mental reaction XD)
