((Ixor and I learned long ago that it's just easier to deal with things if there's a posting order so that we didn't have to keep going back and editing our posts, Lyric. Generally speaking, even if there isn't an established order, we consider it good form to wait for everyone else to have a chance to post before posting again.
Going off what we have now, I'd say it's Ukaia's turn, then mine, then yours, then Ixor's.))

((AnCat; I know, I've noticed this. I'm just explaining myself so that I don't come across as rude or anything. I'm fine with posting orders, I'm just not too used to it yet. That's all.
Ok, Ukaia, AnCat, Lyric, Ixor. That should be easy enough...))

" I am very sorry for saying that" She appologised again as she sneezed once more. Ech stupid fur allergy.
"I woudlnt' wish.. that on anyone. And I said it in the heat of anger" she added. She sighed and took a deep breath. She responded to a question the captin had said before she'd lost her temper and thought's to anger that much.
"I have no idea if we created it, or it was discovered. I just remember there being talk of something new. Then one day all the alerts went off. Cavilions to the rooms, anyone else to stations. After that things just.. went haywire" she said. She frowned slightly. Sure it had been a crule thing to say to the guy, but she had appologised. And frankly she thought she deserved some leway.
"Uhm.. is..the Lieutenant ok?" she asked in a suddenly very uncertin voice. Her mind was racing again, was he really infected, was she about to hear him change or go wrong and suddenly attack his group. Her heart thudded loud. Was this group alredy gone for. She shut her eyes for a second and forced her mind to stop imiging what might happen in the next few seconds. She had to keep up hope that things would be alright. THat was the only thing that had kept her going so far. Hope of a rescue, and now there they were.

((That's fine, Lyric, I understand.))
"Huh, there's another Cathan that's a survivor?" Mio asks, suddenly curious. He checks the data-com on his wrist, it was synched up with the ship's computer, and he goes over the scanner's data. "Well, I'll be," he comments when he sees the corresponding blip that represented Gin. "Well, Lieutenant, you need to work on your pronunciation a little then..." he tells Aleron in a jocular tone.
He see's the blip that represented Misha there, as well as the one for Boda, as well as the other life-signs from the nearby cryo-sleep room. No sign of the infection there, that was good. Hearing Gin's voice, he now realizes that he should have picked up before that she was a fellow Cathan. He mews a greeting to her in their own language; she sounded rather down, so perhaps it would help lift her mood.

Aleron listened to them, but didn't seem to quite hear. Suddenly he looked down at his hands. His hands were clenched around the handles so hard they mind bend to his grip. His knuckles were white and he noticed his jaw was clenched so tightly it hurt. Loosening it enough to talk, his voice was low and fierce. "Never...wish such ill...upon me again." he warned. "I had to kill the last person who did that, because of their own senseless paranoia. Because they tried to go through with it." he said, though didn't mention who 'they' were, or even hint at gender to give some sort of clue as to this piece of his past that may very well contribute to his anti-social behavior and general dislike of the social masses. "Captain, let us continue. I want to begin my research." he said, his voice quiet now.

Aurora suppresses a sigh. The Medic had apologized after all. 'Yes. Let's,' she answers, leading them off again. She was rather glad to have settled the dramatics for now and focus on the task on hand. She could be a very good and neutral mediator, but she sometimes had little patience for people's foolishness. They fought about such trivial things at such inopportune times. Of course, anytime was inopportune for an argument to Aurora's way of thinking. Oh why, oh why had she decided to take on a position of authority?

The mew and welcome in Cathran had been a very welcome sound to her ears. Elicting a purr to escape her automatically. A faint flush crept on her cheeks.
"Ah.. hi" she mumbled in english. And then.. that.. that.. lunkhead opened his mouth. Threaten him.. never threaten him again. And was he seriously callling her paranoid?!?! Her cheeks flushed again this time with abslut pissed off anger, Her back arched slightly. And a deep angrly growl emmited from low in her chest. She was going to rip his face off herself.
She opened her mouth to let out a string of curses escape and question his sanity about her being bloody panranoid in this situation when the world went grey and she stopped short swaying in place. Having to catch onto Misha for support for a second. Nope, she didn't have the energy to do this. She wasn't going to be able to get that angry. She'd become a burdon for the two with her that didn't know anything about what was really going on. it took several long slow dep breaths before the hues came back to her vision.
"I.. am.. not.. parnaoid" she finally growled out. Then she shut off her com. No she wasn't, not when she'd freaken SEEN what had happened. She'd scream in frustration except she was afraid of attracting more of those things. She sneezed agian and rubbed her face a bit.
"I'd like to hurry. He's gotten me far far to.. excited for now. I've had to limit my food supply since I only had emergency rations where I was holed up. And I've not had much access to water either. I'm probly suffering from minor dehydration and nutricional imbalance. Also lack of sleep and continued exertion and stat of panick and distress" she muttered running down her own problems and catagorizing them as if she were talking about a patient infront of her. Settle her mind, settle her temper. She did have a bit of a short one, and this had frayed her to the very last strand.
"Personally I'd rather not pass out on the two of you. I need to be awake to inform you of any dangers we see" she muttered and finally flipped the com back on. Now that she was in controll of herself once more

Well, so much for his efforts to try and calm her down. Mio shakes his head at the make-up of this team and how survival depended on everyone getting along. Crawling out of the filtration system, his adjustments complete, heads to the galley to get something to drink.
((I'm going to pull a DM-card and just say that Misha and Boda start heading towards the hangar with Gin.))

Aleron tinted his mask a bit, it turning a sort of golden black in the right light. It was running scans, assessing it's damage while giving him vision as if all lights were working normally, basically. Though, the main purpose was to hide the glare he had that would make one of those chest-parasites turn itself inside out. "What if it's airborn?! What if we're ******** infected??" "Damnit, calm d-down...-coughing-" "You...You already have it..!! You're coughing too!!!" Aleron shut his eyes tightly, then opened them again, following her. He hoped they were close. He hated memories, and she didn't understand...this is why he was a dog-person. The females were allllways right no matter what. He pitted the male-half...

( I am off today and should be home by the time people get on. But I do have to get out and run an errand. )
Aurora breathes a little easier when they make it back without incident. She helps Aleron get installed into the lab and checks on the status of her crew. "Everyone report. Clastov, you here with those survivors yet? Mio, how're those repairs coming?" Since she was in the same room, she wouldn't have to use the comm, though it rather seemed she had no choice. "Dr, how's our patient doing?"

Aleron thanked the captain for the help as he and Mace pulled a stretcher to the first set of doors to the lab. His visor went down as he came to the medic with the girl. "Good, you waited." he said, wheeling up the stretchers. On his was the creature with the mutated bones as blades, and on Mace's was the thing that had attempted to eat Aleron. "Ready to see my beautiful lab?"

Miya had indeed waited patiently right where Aleron had told her. It had taken a tad longer for everyone to return than she'd originally anticipated, but she had known the wait would be extended. How? She hadn't wanted to be left out of the loop, so she'd turned her comm. link on and open when she'd been left alone; though she was so quiet that no one had noticed.
"Patient's fine, Captain," she responded promptly. Then, at Aleron's question, she nodded once. "As ready as I'll ever be, I think."

Aleron nodded and went to the keypad, punching in a long sequence as the first doors opened. "You wait here for me to take these two in. I have to run a different sequence for specimens then live subjects." he said, untying the stretcher from Macie and pulling them both inside the chamber as the doors closed. He pushed his thumb on a fingerprint scanner and the doors seemed to tense as if being pushed against as Aleron's visor went up. The two bodies began to float slightly, the gravity being off. The doors shuddered as the chamber glowed a bit, until shutters went down over the glass parts, blocking her view. About 5 minutes later, the shutters lifted as the doors opened and Aleron looked to her. "Ready?" he asked from inside, waiting.
