I've been hearing news that the Nintendo Wii is coming out mid-september. And that it is gonna cost $179. Stateside is the only place I know this news to be. Could be for everywhere but I'm not sure. Anywho, I'm wanting this thing. Like... BAD. What are your veiws on it? Or is it too kidish for ya?

Sinning Fluff I've been hearing news that the Nintendo Wii is coming out mid-september. And that it is gonna cost $179. Stateside is the only place I know this news to be. Could be for everywhere but I'm not sure. Anywho, I'm wanting this thing. Like... BAD. What are your veiws on it? Or is it too kidish for ya? I'm not against it, but I won't be getting one myself. I don't play videogames often enough to make the purchase worth it.

Could you imagine a motion sensed tv remote? Or perhaps even a motion coded computer? Just wave your hand in front of it and it turns on. Snap your fingers and boom your connected to the net. Nod your head, and it is time for music. ^_^ Just silly lil ideas, but they could do real and cool things with it.
@Camwen: I'm in the same boat as your husband. I am looking at all sources of info I can find for this thing, and want to get my hands on it right now. I'm even putting aside purchasing a game that I really want AND two other games that are coming out soon that I really want in order to make sure that I have enough money to buy it when it arrives. Feel like Golem seeing the ring right in front of me.... my precious...

Never anger a talking tele. If I had a talking tele my friends would be like AH Snap and I would be like yeah. Then they would try to change the channel but to no avail.
