Eversor looked back at Patilla with a raised brow, then back to Ackitahr. "He most definitely doesn't look like a dog with a horn. Unless you mean to put a play on words that is foreign to my knowledge. And I agree that Patilla's world would be at the low end of society. Most likely the lowest. Also, what could your mother do about the your decisions?" he said before flaring his great wings in preparation of flight. "Hold on"
Eversor did a vertical launch. Pushing upward into the air with his legs and letting his wings do the rest, the dragon quickly rose through the air and turned into the direction of Afsana's palace.
"So, Ackitahr,-" the dragon started as he forced himself forward with his wingbeats. "- how does it feel to get the Hunter's point of view on the land?"

Nexus nodded at both the Lion Demon and Afsana's explainations. "I see. And where do you plan to get these sorcerers? Also, a small tidbit of information. I believe the God of the Underworld is fabled to have a wife who's a powerful sorceress." he said with a shrug. "Just thought you'd find that interesting."
The necromancer smiled internally, though. Once being a servant to Karn, Death, and in turn, Maude, he knew everything there was to know about the underworld and their rulers. All, except, the most well kept secrets of Karn.

Karn rinned at his small victory. "Good. Now that that's settled. Meet Godith, then to our bed? Or should I just take you here and now?" he said before kissing along his wife's chest and neck.

Infernara gave Adurnafor a toothy grin. "Yes, you most certainly can." the aroused dragoness said as she layed herself out on her back over the cave floor for the Water Dragon, tugging on his tail with hers to tease him further.

Adurnafor blinked a few times, sleep still weighing on his mind. He yawned lazily, stretching his jaws to their full angle, then snapping them and looking back at Infernara. He blinked again, realizing she was inviting him for mating and tugging on his tail. He slumped slightly. "Again, Infernara? Didn't we just do this a month ago?"

"Yeah, so? Come on, It'll be fun!" Infernara said with her grin, still tugging on Adurnafor's tail. She started wriggling back and forth to tease the male further.

Adurnafor stood on all fours and layed on Infernara. "Alright, but I'm going back to sleep after this."

Floradail flicked her tail in thought, her leaf-like wings moving and causing another light breeze. "Would you think it'd be wise to check the situation on G'reth?"

"You don't know my mother." Ackitahr did as told and braced himself for the launch. He was quiet in the air as he looked down at the world below. Well, silent until the dragon spoke to him, "Seems like it's for someone with a superiority complex. This a hobby of yours Patilla?"

"You sir, need to stop that. I'm gonna be important in the new kingdom."

"Yep. A royal ******** up." He grew a bit of a concerned face, "Speaking of which, what are you going to be doing in the new kingdom?"

"Staying out of Afsana's way, and using all of the diplomatic immunity I can to not get into trouble for what I do."

"You're gonna start wars, you idiot."

---

Afsana plucked the paper from the lion's hand and pocketed it, "Thank you, I'll have my general take care of it immediately." She glanced back to Nexus, "I'm not interested in a rogue sorceress, no, I have something bigger in mind. The dense population of sorcerers that dwell along the outskirts of G'Reth. You know about sorcerers. They care about three things: Power, Glory and Themselves. I know how to get the sorcerers' respect, and how to get them on our sides. But you'll just have to trust me on that, because it's my secret how I'm going to manage that. Which reminds me, I had better see them soon, perhaps tomorrow. Tomorrow's good." She pivoted and started in the other direction once more.

---

Teinama was hesitant to speak at all, or to move, but he finally raised a hand to begin gently stroking her hair, "I think it's either a sorcerer or a metephor."

---

Attorra smirked and nodded toward the back of the closet, "Want to see something cool?" He crawled back in that direction and moved a box out of the way to reveal the back corner, "You can hardly see it in the dark. but.." He pointed to two names carved into the wall beneath the lowest shelf.

Grigori + Grigoria

---

Maude lifted her chin and chuckled a low, rather sensual laugh, "Meet Godith now? But you've got me all worked up. I don't want to be all hot and bothered when meeting your friend, Karn."

---

Ariasana grunted when she felt the Lion latch onto her, "Oh gods, what could you want?" She managed to turn around in his arms, "What are you doing?"

Leonardo followed close behind. The women seemed to have total disregard for her well being."Sorcerers are hard to deal with, so I hope what ever secret you have, makes them a little more willing." Leonardo said glancing at the other man before looking back at Afsana. He didn't like having an enemy at his back, where he could attack with out Leonardo having enough time to act. But it was either his back or the new king's. Needless to say he would keep him at his back.
~ ~ ~ ~

Nadia sighed and closed her eyes. She absolutely loved to have Teinama brush her hair, it was so long, and was trouble for her to deal with. His hands in her hair made her feel like she was truly home. "Do you think the sorcerers have learned to mess with visions?"
~ ~ ~ ~

Kadra frowned "I had never seen that." She crawled in closer to see what was written. "Who are they? Old friends of yours?" She asked reading the names over and over like she should remember at least one of them.

~ ~ ~ ~

Leonidas leaned in and rubbed his face along side hers. He knew she would get pissy with him, and he loved it. "Oh you know," He laid a soft kiss on her cheek then began kissing slowly down her neck, to the soft skin where neck and shoulder meet. Leonidas made a low rumbling sounds probably between a purr and a growl. He kissed that spot softly before lightly nipping and sucking at her skin trying to make the mark her knew that action could leave.
~ ~ ~ ~

All four of the women shook their heads. "If there really is a battle going on over there, Paha wouldn't want you to get mixed up in it."

Eversor felt an unsettling chill run along his back at the thought of the child-Patilla running amok with diplomatic immunity and made a note to talk to Afsana about it. His mind wandered on ways to aid in the rekindling of the bond between Karmae and G'reth. He could ask the new king if he could be a temporary officer in her army, but Eversor would have to clear that with Paha first. A dragon aiding G'reth's forces would surely start a trend with the other inhabitants of Karmae to help the country get back on it's feet after Kurag's rule.
"Ackitahr." he started to get the goat's attention. "Would you be interested in having a dragon in your force? I think it would surely aid in healing the wounds between Karmae and G'reth. Of course, I will have to run it passed Lord Paha first."

Nexus nodded. "I understand your logic with the sorcerers, but they are difficult to work with. Even if you gain their loyalty for a while, they'll think of treacherous deeds to bering them, as you said, power, glory, and to help themselves. Killing and taing over the king's throne would increase all three of those aspects." the necromancer advised with his words of caution. "If you truly plan to work with sorcerers, don't go anywhere without someone who can properly protect you from them."
He noticed that the Lion Demon was weary of him and smirked at him. Nexus would rather be thought weary of than be trusted too easily.

Karn gave his wife a sharp-toothed grin. "Quite so. You two can be aquainted tomorrow, but then a new question stands: Here and now, or wait till get all the way to our bedroom?" the God asked before he nipped at Maude's chest with his pointed teeth.

"Right..." Floradail said as her ears drooped slightly. What an adventure it would be to fly over a battlefield, though! She decided that it would, in fact, be too dangerous if there was a battle going on. The Flora Dragon yawned, stretching her jaws to their full angle before returning to her previous state, albeit her eyeslids abit heavier than before. "It's getting late and I'm getting tired. I'll take my leave. Thank you for listening for a bit at least, Ladies." she said with a sheepish smile, then rose to her feet and walked off toward one of the exits of the palace.

"That sounds good, as long as you don't start eating anyone. Namely me." Ackitahr nodded, "But I don't see any problems with that."

---

"I have more than one secret, boys. Don't think the new king doesn't have something up her sleeves. After all, I learned all my diplomatic policies from Millin Tellilackma." Afsana opened another door to where there was a staircase and looked at it for a long moment, "Probably not a good idea to have them up a level. Then it'd be harder to send them into action." She stepped around the stairs and continued, "But I have more than a way to make them like me, I have protection from them as well."

---

"I think the sorcerers have been fine. They have no reason to do that. They know that and we know that. But no, I'm sure Nonstrato wouldn't allow it." Teinama just sighed, "I'll sleep on it. I'm sure I'll come up with something."

---

"Grigori was my father and uncle's friend. The man who lived in this room. As for Grigoria, well, I'm not allowed to talk about her." Attorra shrugged and stood up then offered a hand out to Kadra, "Come on, let's get to sleep."

---

Maude moaned a bit before lifting her head again with a small laugh, "I don't know, will you make it all the way to the bedroom?"

---

Ariasana made a face but leaned her head back, "I'm sorry, I know?" She lifted an arm and put it around his neck however, holding him at the nape of his neck, "You're such a b*****d."

Leonardo nodded his head. "I would suggest you have your men some where they can get out of the palace easily." He looked around where they were at. "if you believe you are safe from them then what more advice can I or any one else offer you, none. A person who thinks they have every option covered is some one who will not take advice."
~ ~ ~ ~

Nadia sighed her contentment. It was moments like this these that made her think she couldn't care what was going on down on the planet. It could all burn down and every one die, and she sill wouldn't mind. But those times hadn't been often for what seemed like for ever. "I believe you." She said softly breathing in deep and inhaling his fresh clean scent. How she had missed it.
~ ~ ~ ~

Kadra frowned and took his hand as she stood. "What do you mean you can't talk about her?" She asked eying him suspiciously. Kadra walked for her bed and hopped on It was large and soft, made for more then one teen aged girl, but she had grown up in it, and laying back down on it again after so long, made her realize just how tired she was.
~ ~ ~ ~

Leonidas chuckled against her neck and he nibbled a little lower. He wanted her on the bed before he jumped her and knocked the both of them to the ground. Walking into her he pushed his eager body into hers trying to gently force her back to where he remembered the bed would be.

~ONE MONTH LATER~

The Land of G'reth is under repair, the capital and it's palace along with the surrounding towns were among the most hard hit. It may not take too much longer before the palace is back in shape but much longer for the land and it's people to completely recover from the devastation it suffered.
Lord Paha, trying to prove he was willing to make amends, lent some of his troops to the new king to help speed repairs. Many of the demons were happy to help and helped the process speed by much faster then thought.
~ ~ ~ ~

Nadia sat on a small wooden bench out in her back yard garden. It was lush and full all year round, her powers keeping the garden's contents safe not matter the time of year. A misty swirl moved around her feet as she gazed down on it. The scene below played out for her to watch.
It surprised her to see the G'reth Palace so far along with it's repairs. But it was no wonder, with the King having so many helping hands. She smiled softly and scattered the mist with a wave of her hand. Standing up she moved about the garden tending to each flower, bush, or vegetable as it needed. She had created the garden to keep herself from boredom. She couldn't sleep the day away like her husband seemed to be good at doing. Nadia had been a little bit of a wanderer most of her life. She had never stayed on one place long. That habit had changed when not long after that incident.
She sighed lightly and walked back to the house. "Teinama." she said softly brushing her hand off on her legs and smearing dirt on them. Frowning she headed for the washroom "Teinama!" she called out louder this time.

~ ~ ~ ~

Leonardo lumbered up a wood ladder with a load of rocks. He heaved it with ease up to the next level of the palace. "Here." He said dropping the sack down with a loud thud.

Abarden's eyes were wide. "What is with you!?" He said clearly alarmed.

"What do you mean?" Leonardo asked leaning up against a railing to keep the workers from falling over the ledge.

"This platform is wood and tied together. Please don't just drop that, it could make this whole thing come down!" Abarden was stilling clinging to the railing with a death grip.

Paha landed behind the frightened tiger with out making a sound. Smiling at Leonardo he put his finger to his lips in a hushing motion. Slowly he snuck up on the other man and pounced yelling "Run!"

Abarden screamed, the pitch matching close to that of a girl's. Both men got a laugh at the other man's discomfort.
~ ~ ~ ~

Kadra glanced up when she heard the scream. It was just the men picking on one another. She rolled her eyes at them and their childish nature. Lifting up the bucket of water she carried it to some of the others working on a support beam. "Water every one!" She called grabbing the cups for every one and passing them to Telmina who dropped frozen chunk of ice into each cup.

"I dont' see why I am not aloud to help." She said bitterly as she dropped another chunk of ice into a cup.

"Because you are still not fully recovered." Kadra said patiently to the other women.
~ ~ ~ ~

Leonidas prowled the mountain ledge. He had felt some strange power surges near by, and the rotten stink of ogre assaulted his nose. This slightly alarmed him, Leonidas knew they had tendencies to be aggressive. His mind wandered to Ariasana, if they got close to her home, could they hurt her?
He could never be too careful better go an warn her rather then risk it. Thou he really doubted they could get the best of her. The women was stronger then he gave her credit for, and he knew that.

Floradail went about in the courtyard of the palace, tending to the foliage there. She was fanning her leaf-like wings, sending out small sparkles of green which landed on the plants that she desired. The plants that were touched by the sparkles instantly renewed their vivid colors and strong posture with stiff stem. It was during this when she heard a very girlie scream an giggled. "Males."

Karn sat at his study, starring into a large globe that was perched on it. He ran his plans of Godith's resurrection over and over in his head, looking for errors, searching for flaws that would negate any part of it. "Just a couple more months until the eclipse. Then everything will change to my liking." he said to himself. Just then, a cold presence came into the room and manafested itself behind him. A thin skeleton in a cryptic, flowing, black robe with a large, curved and twisted scythe appeared behind the god. "Yes, Death? Come to turn in you monthly quota?
"Of courssse..." the skeleton spoke through a constant hiss that would give anyone else a dreadful sense of well-being. Death took a scroll from his robe and handed it to his lord, who took it without even looking. Karn only unrolled the scroll and skimmed over it briefly before rerolling it and placing it in the inside of his own robe. "You may go."
And with that, the skeletal figure was gone in a silent wisp that took him away faster than it had appeared.

Eversor glided on silent wings toward the palace, landing not too far from the foundation and where Telmina and Kadra were. The dragonlicked his lips of the blood from his just recent meal in woods not far from were he stood. A tall bull elk had curbed his hunger for the moment. Eversor sat his rear on the ground and positioned himself as if like a loyal canine, waiting to be noticed by Telmina. If she was busy, he could wait instead of coming up to her and distracting her and the others working on the palace.

Nexus, or rather Azeal Shailar was his real name after Karn had restored his memory, was working on the same floor as Paha, Abarden, and Leonarda. He felt he would keep the name of Nexus until he felt that he had redeemed himself for his sins. With his memory, Nexus's personality had turned on a coin. He grew quiet with tormented memories of lost loved ones and terrible events, most of which he had kept to himself. He had thrown his robe away and locked it into a heavy trunk, along with his weapons and such. The man wore white clothing now as opposed to black. Currently he was wearing a white pair of pants and no top for easy mobility, not that he wanted to show off his muscular body like he would have before his memory was returned to him.
At Abarden's scream he replied, "The lot of you act like children." then he returned to his work.

Teinama descended one of the staircases and sighed, pushing back his hair and yawning, Teinama managed a reply, "What's up, hun?" He took a seat in the kitchen as she walked past and watched her walk on, "I just talked to Chi, he wants us over for dinner tonight. That alright?"

---

"Boys, please." Afsana walked over in her outdoor clothing, and placed down a large sack of cement at her feet, "Behave yourselves, you're like a bunch of children." She waved over a citizen with a wheelbarrow of water and turned back to Leonardo, "You want to get this? The king's got to go find the court troublemaker."

"Court troublemaker found himself." Patilla emerged at the second level of the palace in a window, "Now the king's going to have to do something herself." He leapt down onto the scaffolding and from there onto the ground, "I'm off to the town to do more building."

"Must be someone he wants to bone, otherwise he'd be helping us." Afsana sighed, "Well, have fun not getting any actual work done."

Patilla just smiled and nodded before running off, "Bye!"

---

Maude shuddered as she walked in after Death's departure, "That guy gives me the creeps." She took a seat on the edge of Karn's desk and leaned toward him, placing a hand on his chin, "Good morning, love."

---

Attorra was in a large crowd of civilians currently raising the frame of a barn on the property. Once strapped together, the frame was sturdy and the men started adding the boards to finish the barn. He glanced over to see Kadra and Telmina and, after locking eyes with the former princess, he nodded her over for water.

---

Ariasana heard a knock at her door and frowned as she glanced over to the entrance. That was strange. No one knew where she lived but Leonidas, and he certainly was nowhere to be found. Not like he knocked anyhow. She armed herself with a broom as usual and slowly walked toward the door. She grabbed the knob and slowly turned, opening the door and peering out cautiously. Her eyes widened she she saw the young monk on her doorstep, "Uru? You're not supposed to come here."

"My apologies, Ariasana, may I come in? We need to speak." Uru did not wait for her permission to enter, but he opened the door and walked past Ariasana, "Sorry to intrude, but, it's important."

"Alright then, shoot."
PostPosted: Fri Apr 15, 2011 7:15 pm

Nadia smiled and stuck her head out of the washroom "Yes of course, you know I don't mind spending time with them." Grabbing her thick hair she began to braid it of her shoulder. "Now come, I need you to wash my back." Nadia said with a playful smile along with a sinful lust filled stare. It was clear she didn't really intend to wash up.
~ ~ ~ ~

Leonardo shook his head, "That boy is going to end up with many children if he isn't careful." Leonardo walked down to the lower level to get the heavy wheelbarrow. "Where dose this have to go?"

Abarden, now slightly relaxed Leonardo was gone, let go of the railing. "Your Majesty?" He called down doing his best not to actually look at the ground. After all they were a little ways up, and Abarden hated heights. "Can I ask you to do me the honor of kicking My Lord's a** and make him go so some actual work?" He said shoot Paha a death glare as he picked up a empty bag.

"I am getting work done." Paha said looking to the bottom of the bag to make sure it didn't have a hole. Shrugging he walked down a level to the floor "Besides I am a King. I don't have to do what I don't want to." He said holding his nose up, pretending to be better then every one else. "Look at me I'm Kurag and I plan to be the best king in the world." Paha said in a mocking voice before pulling a small bottle out from his shirt and taking a long drink.
"Now that is some good stuff."

Xeema landed next to the demon lord. "What in the world do you have there?" She asked snatching the bottle and sniffing it.

"Oh sure just take it, not like I was drinking that or any thing." the sarcasm could kill.

"I really don't want it." Xeema said quickly handing the alcohol back.
~ ~ ~ ~

"Hey Telmina take over for a second." Karda said picking up the bucket and walking off with it to Attorra. Kadra practically beamed with joy at being noticed again by the man. Over the last month she had developed quit the crush on him.
Sheepishly she grinned at him setting the water down infront of him. "How's it going?" She asked dipping a cup into the bucket and holding it out for Attorra.

~ ~ ~ ~

It took Leonidas longer to find his way to Arisana's house then a normal person. It didn't help he was trying to work his way around the Ogres he feared were getting closer.
Finally he made his way to her door step, changing shape he stood, naked as usual, at her door before turning the knob and trying to enter the house.

((Also Nadia an Paha as teens. I will have it colored an a background added later.))

Eversor tilted his head to one side when Telmina hadn't noticed him. She didn't look too busy with what she was doing; watering the workers. The dragon watched as Kadra departed Telmina to go to Attorra and smiled. He'd seen the sheepish smile with his keen eyes and had instantly knew what was going on there.
Eversor then looked back to Telmina and reverted to his human form so he wouldn't attract too much attention. He crept up from behind Telmina as quietly as his Draconic abilities would let him, then suddenly lunged forward and put his arms around his mate. "Have you been hiding from me? You know I'm a great hunter, Tellie." he said with a chuckle. With the end of the war, Eversor had grown more relaxed and fun-going. He had been helping repairs on the harbor that he had helped destroy hours before Kurag was overthrown until he wanted to check how Telmina was healing from her wound. It had taken him a while to find her though, as he had flown all over Karmae and went back to G'reth. Only then did he finally catch her scent and was able to find her.

"He gives everyone the creeps. And good morning, dear.", Karn said as he put his large hand over Maude's, still staring at his globe that was on his desk. "I was just thinking. Double-checking there was nothing that could go wrong.", he stated plainly, then looked at his wife with a serious expression. "I doubt this would affect me much, but I want to be sure. I want you to be the one to kill Nadia during the eclipse. If I do, we run the small risk of me hesitating due to the fact that she's my sister. Any hesitation could result in failure, which I don't plan on having happen after all this waiting for a chance to set things how they should've been. Only it'll be me and you, not me and Nadia." he said before taking his hand away from his wifes and folded his arms. "She thought she could just run away with Teinama and leave me down here to take care of the dead. Ohhh, she was so wrong." the god chuckled before the ground seemed to vibrate violently for a few seconds before settling. "Godith's getting antsy." Karn said with a sharp-toothed grin.

Nexus looked at Paha with an expressionless look, then continued what he was doing to reinforce the floor that they were all standing on. "My Lady, if I may speak, I've seen this King do no such work in the least. The only work he's done is drink his liquer and distract the others. I speak only the truth." he said plainly, then spoke to Paha directly. "And you're not far from becoming Kurag at the rate you're going, your Highness." he said without looking at the man.

Teinama turned around in his seat and hopped off of his barstool. He walked toward the washroom and stripped off his shirt, tossing it to the side. He entered the room and shut the door slowly behind him, "Wash your back? Can't you do that on your own yet?" He shrugged, "I guess there's no helping it, I'll have to lend you my assistance."

---

"He's a drifter, I don't really care as long as he's not here destroying things." Afsana sighed and glanced around. "You know for a king, I don't exactly have star treatmen-"

"Majesty?" Ackitahr was standing on the scaffolding by the window with a hand offered to the new king before she would finish her statement.

Afsana smirked and grabbed the general's hand, "What a gentleman, thank you." She stepped down with his assistance and he lifted her into his arms before leaping down to the ground and letting her down. She laughed and pat his chest, "Thank you sir, but shouldn't you be leading the troops around the city?"

Ackitahr shrugged, "I came back to make sure nobody was giving you trouble. Looks like nobody's giving you anything." He furrowed a brow for a moment before he shrugged, "In any case, I'll be getting back, the boys are just having lunch at a tavern and I shouldn't leave them for too long just yet."

The new king just gave him a small nod, "Go make sure they don't start trouble, alright?"

Ackitahr lifted his head and turned it toward Eversor, "Hey, dragon boy! Are you coming today? We're walking around looking tough again!" He turned to Afsana and nodded, "Well, goodday, Majesty."

---

Smiling as he stood up straight and took the small cup from Kadra, dumping it over his head and shaking his head a bit. It was a nice, quick relief from the heat. He smiled again and handed her back the cup, "Thank you, Kadra."

---

"Hmm," Maude took a short moment to think before she smirked, "Kill Nadia? I guess I could handle the job. I'm just a little shocked that you think you might not be able to kill her, even after she betrayed you like that." She sighed, "That's okay though, Love, that's what you have me for." She chuckled softly, "You know, among other things. Now," She sat up and hopped off of the desk. "Now, I've got to go, I have an appointment with a dead man."

---

Ariasana glanced over to her door and saw the naked man standing in the doorway, "Gross. Put some damn pants on, I've got company you know! He's a holy man even!"

"I hope you don't make it a habit sir, of breaking and entering in the nude." Uru looked the other way with a hint of disgust, then turned up to Ariasana, "We'll take care of it though, Ariasana, don't worry. In the meantime, just work on a better home security system and maybe a new crowd." He nodded and exited past the naked lion in the doorway.

Nadia giggled. "No I can't, my hair gets in the way." She said her clothes dissolved as she moved the braid into a bun on the back of her head to keep it from getting completely wet. With her hair being as thick as it was it was hard to get it dry by natural means. And she much preferred to let the wind dry it.
The tub was already full of warm water, Nadia stepped in it and sunk down into it's warmth. She glanced over her shoulder and raised a hand, giving Teinama a beckoning finger move. "Come on."

~ ~ ~ ~

Leonardo moved the wheelbarrow off to the other work area. The men needed it and he didn't. Walking back he smiled, just a tiny bit, at the new king and her general. The fact that they were all so willing to work and to do good made him a little relieved. He had begun to think all humans were like Kurag. Not saying Patilla was a whole lot better.
Stretching his muscles a little Leonardo jumped from the floor to the second floor scaffolding. A large stack of building stones needed to be moved. "Abarden."

The saber toothed tiger demon looked up from laying down another row of bricks. "Yeah?" He asked cautiously.

"Help me carry this to the other side." Leonardo said kneeling down infront of the large stack.
~ ~ ~ ~

Paha's head shot up. "I am, and never will be like Kurag." he said taking back his bottle of alcohol from Xeema. "Just remember, you were so willing to work for the man before. So that, in my book, doesn't make you much better then him." He slid the bottle back with the confines of his shirt.

Xeema rolled her eyes are the men. "You both are foolish." She held her head up turning on her heels and walking off to go help tend to the roofing.
~ ~ ~ ~

Kadra grinned stupidly. "Yeah no problem." She was blushing lightly, mentally curing herself. After all, most of the men had been thanking her all day long for the stupid water, so why was she so over joyed by his simple thanks? "How much longer do you think till all the repairs will be done?" her eyes dropped trying not to stare at his face and blush more, it turned out to be a bad idea, the water had gotten some of his shirt wet, making it cling to his body. She blushed more.

Telimina instinctively froze up and her hands went protectively to her belly. She relaxed once she heard Eversor's voice and got a wift of his scent. Slowly she leaned back into him. "I wasn't hiding, I was merely lending my help to the new king along with adding our own king." Her hands quickly dropped from her belly once she realized she had been doing it. She was no where near ready to tell him her secret.

In a tavern not too far from the palace sat a large group of soldiers. All of them were devouring the food laid out before them with vigor. They all were talking and laughing loudly.
Maeve pushed out the kitchen doors and hurried to the table dropping off more water and bread for the rowdy men. As she watched the group of men she felt a stinging to her eyes. Her brother should have been among these men. But he was dead, along with her father. Dashing back into the kitchen Maeve grabbed more food and ran it out. If she kept busy she wouldn't remember her sadness.

Leonidas frowned "What was all that about?" He walked fully into the room closing the door behind him.

Eversor smiled and planted a light kiss on Telmina's cheek. "I was only joking, love. You have to do your part in this, as do I. Well, we don't have to I guess." he said with a light chuckle. His head perked up when Ackitahr addressed him. "Ah, we're on the march again. Such a mood killer. I'll have to be off then. Sorry I couldn't stay longer." the dragon in human form said said with a light squeeze to his mate's waist. "Love you." he said with another kiss to Telmina's cheek, then was off toward Ackitahr. "Where are we off to this time, General?" he asked as he approached the Goat Demon and the new king of G'reth, which he nodded to in greeting. "King Afsana." he said, accenting his nod.

Karn serious expression didn't falter. "It's just a fallback measure. I doubt I would put any hesitation between Nadia's heart and a very large, rusted, weapon." he said before he waved a hand at his wife's departure. "Have fun. I'll be here thinking and contemplating if you need me. You know to call for me if something goes amiss."

Nexus kept to his work as he spoke briefly. "I was different then. Running from a forgotten past and causing mischief to fill the ever-hungery hole that existed from it."

Afsana smiled and nodded to Eversor, "Thank you for helping the troops, Eversor, and good luck General, with the army." She finished with a nod to Ackitahr and waved them off before turning back to the construction. She heaved a sigh and turned to the small lot of sorcerers doing their part on the opposite end of the palace, the rest helping out among the townspeople. Despite all of the nasty things people said about them, it was true that they held the glorious and respected people higher than their own self-interest. or some of them at least.

"Most of us think that is wonderful, dearie. But there is another Sorceress who ran through here last year claimin' ta be ya." Even the older sorceresses looked young, but were held in high esteem for their knowledge and experience. "She had 'is eyes too, yer father's. When she used her powers of course. But those of us who knew Grigori knew he married a human, and was only half 'imself. I didn't buy it o' course, but the young folk. But what've they ta offer ya anyway besides their snotty attitudes and their hatred of humans and demons alike. No, stick with us, if an Ustad will be the King then ya certainly have our support. And may we just add 'long live the king' and kick Kurag once for us will ya?"

She had laughed, but been rather bothered by someone stealing her identity. That would be a problem down the road, that was for sure. She sighed, "The sorceress, did she use my name?"

The elder had been taking a drink when she heard the question, she shook her head and placed the mug at her side, "No yer highness, just yer father. But everyone knows who we hold in high regard here, ya know, so anyone could've done it. A bit brazen o' her ta come around and talk like we don't know Grigori that well. Ah well, don't let it bother ya, majesty. Now, tell us what to do."

Afsana shook off the memory, but despite what the woman told her, she did not feel like she could forget it.

The town and tavern were not at all far from the castle, so Ackitahr and Eversor were not walking long before they arrived. Pushing the door open, Ackitahr walked into the madhouse that the soldiers were creating. Luckily they were, for the most part, well behaved, but they were as loud as they could possibly be.

Attorra noticed Kadra's face turning red and frowned, "You probably shouldn't be in the sun so much, you're turning red already." He pulled his shirt away from his body where it clung and pushed back his hair, "Do you need a break?"

---

"Of course, of course." Maude waved a dismissive hand as she exited the study. "Don't worry, it's just a dead man, what trouble could he be?"

---

"Nothing, nothing at all." Ariasana shrugged, "Just a monk trying to sell me his religion or something. Says he'll keep all the bad ju-ju away from the mountain or something, I don't know. Not really important." She sighed and looked him up and down, "You really need to start wearing pants, you ******** weirdo. What if you ever went into the wrong house or something? Not like there are a lot of those here, but still."
