The small boy jumped a little, then hid behind a nearby tree. After a moment, he slowly peeked out from behind it. Feeling a little safer, he steped out and cautiously aproached the girl and the wolf.

"My name is Rayne.... How bout you two?" She asked softly.

He steped up to her and the wolf shyly. "M-. . .M-My name is Lucian. . ."

She smiled at him warmly, her pain going away and her strength regained back to normal. "Hello, Lucian." She looked at the wolf and patted its head softly, "Now you... I'm not really sure whether you can even talk to me or not. What if I just called you "Cohl". Would that be alright with you wolf?"

Lucian was quickly warming up to her. He walked over to the wolf slowly, and scratched it behind its ears.

After being wrapped up in chewing on the pinecones, the young girl's ears twitched, picking up the sound of voices nearby. Still holding onto the pinecone, she wandered towards the voices, before finding the group near the river. The four year old blinked a few times, curiousity shining clearly in her purple eyes.

Wind licked her cheek gently, sort of liking the new name that she had given him. Though, he thought it was very weird how she regained strength so quickly. And somehow he though that she was a bit familiar but he couldn't remember quite well even though her name did ring a bell. All he could remember was waking next to a tree after the war was over, his head slowly leaking with blood from his head being slammed against the trunk of an infected tree.
Suddenly, the boy approached him and began scratching behind his ears as well. "Ahhh..." The wolf thought to himself relaxed. He licked the boy's cheeked nad continued to let them scratch behind his ears.

The sudden movement caught her eye and she looked towards it, blinking in confusion when she saw somebody by a wolf. She was still for a moment before the voice a boy a bit older than her appeared from behind the person. She tried peering around the person, hoping to find the source of that mysterious voice.

When she tried to look around Rayne, he quickly moved to one side or the other, so she wouldn't see him.

The girl gave a soft whimper, giving up on finding out who was hiding behind the person. She sat on the ground sudden, her heaad bow as she took a shuddery breath, her bottom lip trembling as she desperately tried to keep from crying.

"Ouch, your stepping on my hand." Rayne quickly pulled her fingers away from under the boys shoes and then massaged her hand. She looked up at the other girl looking around her and then quieted as Lucian told her the game they were playing. "Oh... Okay." She whispered.

Hearing the telltale signs, he realized what was going to happen, and he guiltily steped out from behind Rayne, a pinecone in his hand.
