"Yes..actually I do want to learn some more skills" she said with confidence, as she went back and looked at the book..as she was going over the C rank spells, she spoke without looking at him.
"If I recall correctly, didint you also want to learn some new things?" She asked as plain as day.

She rolled her eyes, as the king some in a nonchalant manor. Clearly, he did not think he needed the practice..hell for all Amiele knew he didint. Shes never seen the king in action, who knows what the Great Draconian Mage had under that calming exterior.
She cracked her knuckles and went to stand about 10 feet away from the king.
She would learn he move 'Haste" a technique that would alter someones speed, and at a higher rank then she would now, would only increase. (1/4)
She squared her shoulders, and took even breaths..the spell did not require it to be on a person..so she looked around for the nearest signs of life, and spotted a small hummingbird a few feet away. This would be her test subject(2/4)
Holding her hands out straight she focused on the bird that hovered over a flower it was feeding on, its wings beating a mile a minute she thought with a slight smile, as she poured energy from her core into the spell..the birds wings..if possible seemed to go much faster, so fast that Amiele did not even see the bird zip past her..she looked around fiercely as she spotted the bird..going from flower to flower..(3/4)
She decided to end the spell with a snap of her fingers, the energy cut off and the bird fell into the flower bed it was feeding on...stunned at its lack of speed now.
she was about to go check on the poor animal when she saw it fly back up, and away from the two mages around the bonfire. ( 4/4)
Learned: Haste -(50)
She thought about how she could use haste in a battle, not sure if she could use it upon herself or just an ally..but if she was going against a sin..or persay helping someone escape for one, this move could alter there speed..enough so, so that they might be able to run away, and for Amiele to do the defending. A tinge of fear rocketed inside her stomach. She noticed the shaky hands at the thought of defending someone against those creatures..she needed to focus, and thus brough her to her other technique..the polar opposite from Haste.'Slow'..this move would cause an enemy or effected creature to slow down..(1/4)
Slowing down could help Amiele enough time for her to intercept somthing, so that someone could escape in time..she did not know it, but she was willing to sacrifice herself for someone against a sin. Could she do it? Could she give her life for someone else? Yes she thought..death was a far better fate then letting someone be captured by somthing like that. (2/4)
Her subject for testing was nowhere to be found, the small bird must have flown away the second it got its wings back..she supposed she could use it on the king. It would slow his movements considerably, for the span of five minutes or so..She looked at him and gave him a slight smile, showing her white teeth. Sticking out her hands, she gave way to her energy..her magic, to preform the 'Slow' spell..a wave of her energy went from her and encased over him..coating him with a near invisible auric energy. (3/4)
"So..does it work?" She asked the king, as she waited for him to reply or make movment for her eyes to see for herself. He was a very large man to begin with..not in the fat sense but in a bulky tall way, with wide shoulders..She shook him from her thoughts, as she tried to focus the task on hand. "Well?" She asked, looking at him with a mischievous smile. (4/4)

"Good..thats good" she said with a wide smile, happy that she was not just highly skilled with her wind Techniques, but her Arcane skills also.
"Ok ok." She said to herself as she stood in place, she wanted to learn other techniques also..it might exhaust her, but she wanted to do as much as she could..
She stood in place, and turned away from the king..making sure that this attack would be away from the fire and also the tomb of spells. Grease could potentially be dangerous in this area, but she had enough faith in herself to believe it would not come to that.(1/4) The move could be placed on a hard surface, to make it slippery..perhaps on the ground..so that when or if she had to escape she could use this..making the enemy fall down, and let them catch an onslaught of an attack. Or..for some reason, she thought she could use it on rocks..or some vertical surface that would make it close to impossible to climb. (2/4)
She felt for her energy inside her core, it was still well lit..still willing to give out and be used, she readied her hands out and felt for the move..giving the right energy, and instructions to the spell...grease came seeping up from the ground in a large area in front of her..the move looked like a success.(3/4)
Now it was time to try it out..to see if it really did work, focusing on a piece of kindling wood a few feet away, she called to the air elements and lifted it..it came over as her will commanded it to do so, and she set it gently across the grease..it would have stopped if it was on normal ground, but because of the grease it slid perfectly until it did matter of fact it dry ground. (4/4)

Next on her learning list would be the Arcane Spell Ascendare, this technique would be alot like air funnel of sorts..pushing the enemy back encase someone got to close to the mage(1/4)
Mages from what she remembered were not that skilled with hand to hand combat, or hand to..what sword? Mages were known for there energy assaults from afar. Not exactly skilled for the likes of close combat. So Ascendare would be good for her. (2/4)
The description in the tomb said it could bring humans a meter back, or weapons..not bullets or arrows, but normal brandishing weapons. What would it do if she used it on the piece of wood she used for learning the technique grease? It would probably go much farther..calling to the winds again, she picked up the piece of wood, and imagined it as a sling shot..getting it ready..she hurled it directly at herself..(3/4)
"Ascendare!" She shouted, as she pulled the magic without much of a thought..the wood stopped dead and was instantly coated with the color of her auric energy..she waved her hands and the piece of wood was tossed far out of sight..(4/4)
Learned: Ascendare -(50)
She hoped that it didint hurt anyone, that would be a dear shame. She craned her neck to the left, and then to the right..her neck cracked in about 3 or 4 different places..her body was growing stiff from all the learning.
But she could not stop yet, she couldn't..she had to keep going..had to become stronger, learn more..more more...
Her next step of learning a new spell was Exuo..a rather powerful move that would send a blade of energy out and cut through Organic objects. (1/4)
It required, and could be shot through her hand..a wand and or staff..she could use her hand, but did not want to..she did not have a staff like the king did..but she did have a wand in her bag, a wand that she got from her parents a long time ago.(2/4)
Going over to her bag, she keeled down and shuffled through..grabbing the wand, she drew it out . It was the size of her forearm, a simple piece of wood with small engravings she could not make out on the sides..and a handle at the end.She stood up, and ignored the feelings of vertigo..her head swam for a second..she was using to much energy in rapid succession.(3/4)
After she shook her head, she walked back over to where she was an held the wand at her side..she felt her magic again, and pushed it out..it sent her hair wide..a think layer of bronze..coated her entire body..each strand of hair as she looked positively radiant with magic..If she was faced to the king he could see that her eyes were bronze now to...any more expelling of magic could even send her off her feet..but she did not want that..she pushed her magical aura into the want, bringing it up, she stiffend her arm, and shot out her wrist firm "Exuo!" she shouted, as the energy transformed and shot from her wand in a flash of light..she sent it to the trees a few feet away and watched it cut up branches and make large marks in the trees.(4/4)

(( Blasting Energy was my First and only C ranked skill as a trainee..remember? I blew up the tree at pine creek and it soaked us? whee )) Amiele Galdings
She looked at the king, and gave him a smile...her wand hung at her side still in her right hand, she was getting exhausted..it wasn't just the use of energy but learning all these new skills at once.
She decided she would more of the out of battle skills later..but for now, she only had one left that she wanted to learn, and get out of the way.
"Aether Barrage" was the arcane technique she was going to learn, the last technique she was going to learn, and for this she did not need her wand. She placed it back in her bag, and walked over to where she had been standing all along.(1/4) This technique would, in her mind be alot like mystical impalement, but instead of focusing energy into the ground to create spikes, she would create the spikes of energy around her body..sending them out so that they could hit multiple enemies. (2/4)
Or so she thought. She could also use the spell to focus on one enemy and send the spikes of energy at them..creating a more damaging blow. Either way it was a very resourceful and deadly attack.(3/4) She again, reached for her energy, expelling the energy out and molding it to her will..the spikes, five of them readied and waiting to launch. She focused on the ground that she had used grease, and flung her arms out in front of her, the five spikes of energy lined up perfectly to her will, creating small holes in the earth as they got nailed in. (4/4)

Without word, Amiele went over to her bag..placed the tomb of spells inside and lifted it up and over her head to strap on her shoulders..someone would have to be very stupid to think they could take it from her. Then she picked up her walking stick that was about to her forhead and leaned heavily on it as she walked over to the king.
"Thank you..for overseeing me, for me to get stronger..it means alot." She said truthfully, sweat had coated her brow..and her eyes grew heavy, she did a large amount of crafting today, and it was taking its toll on her. She was fine, just needed some rest.

Leaning heavily on her walking still, she pushed her waist length black hair from her face..it was wet with sweat.
Her breathing was heavy but not labored. "I will be fine my king." She replied. Arching her back so her muscles stretched out and her bones cracked with built up pressure. "Im just a little weary is all..I don't think I have ever pushed myself to these limits before..learning all of these new techniques is truly exhausting." She looked at the fire, it was not as majestic as it would be at night time..but it still held strong. "I think that I just should stay off of the magic until I get a good sleep, and somthing to eat." She said, tightening her right hand on the piece of wood.

Draco walked into the bonfire area and yelled out to the few nondescript citizens there. "Every body listen up. The city is dangerous right now, so we're evacuating. Quickly get out of the city." He then turned and went towards the creek.
