(12 pie-plates per turn, thank you...)

Baneblades are Apocalypse only, where FOC's are a non-essential to play any way.

Technically there already is on, it is called the Felblade. In the fluff Space Marines had the Baneblade before the Guard.

Calgar, Vulkan and Draigo doing impersonation of the three muskeeters? check! or whatever other wild overpowered combo will escape nerfgun of the 6ed munchkin's motto "because I can!" Why do people always automatically assume that the worst-case scenario will always happen? talk2hand Personally I thought the old FoC was too limiting, and it got quite dull after awhile. And as much as people want to cry Foul with any new allies and FoC, I think they're forgetting the crucial points: -YOU BOTH CAN DO THAT. -Don't play for fun with competitive douchebags. -If anyone can afford 15 Vendettas just to make a WAAC list I don't think I even want to know them.

Oh and it´s impossible to have more Vendettas or Griffons, the ally army MUST be a different codex then used for Primary Detachment.

note: based on rehearsal as the books sold out hours before I reached my local GW dealer ok, the good, the bad and the ugly of the 6th ed. the good: transports are a bit nerfed - no charging out of stationary rhino either you are going with DE kites and jumping overboard or you get Land Raider route tanks can be killed by repeated glances draining hull points OR single lucky shot usually by melta that gets +2 to damage roll table, meaning 50% kill probability after penetration and cover has been overcome. night fighting! on 4+ on start of game and continuing on 4+ throughout the game turns until failed and sunset ensues razz apart from the usual, everything more than 24 in away gets 2+ cover ...and then night vision cancels out all the negative effects - Dark Eldar rejoice! ...as well for the effect wyches with haywire grenades have on enemy tanks - all those glancings kill it VERY fast while were at it, necrons eats tank armies on breakfast with their gauss weaponry - duh! Tau with S5 rapid fire can make life miserable to at least AV11, too
the bad: radomness galore: from warlord traits, to psychic powers, you never know what you will get - and then there is 2d6 in charge range... Murphy is smiling
the ugly: power swords, most common of the power weapons, get ap3! instant terminator rampage, though GK ones get ap3 blues too though random, some warlord traits are extremely nice - scoring Calgar anyone? DE getting auto night fight on turn 1 coupled on Vect? allies are great way to get more wild army composition - and you CANT ally with own codex smile plus more exotic alliances are penalised while random, 2d6 on average rolls more than 6 inches, which allows fleet units to potentially charge 24 inches, and on average 16,5...
