Mark looked at Karin. "Hmmm....I think I know what you're talking about. It is a weird type of dagger. It's not normal." Mark said to everyone.
Alex drifted back to consiousness and screamed. "AH!" She couldn't hold back the pain.
Mark closed his eyes and grabbed her hand. "I'm sorry. It hurts I know."

Serena turned her sightless eyes to Karin.
"That is one pretty incriminating statement," she warned, wary.
It was strange, to be suspicious of people she should have been able to trust, but this was a strange situation all together. She had been in the room the entire time, so she couldn't have thrown it herself, but maybe.....
"What you're saying means one of two things: 1) the person who threw this particular dagger went to the same academy as you, which could link you to them or 2) you know who this person is, and you taught them how to throw daggers like that. If anyone else can think of another possibility, I'm all ears. Almost literally."

Mark nodded. "I got nothing." He said.

Karin sighed when Serena spoke, "I taught no one how to throw my daggers. Even if I tried, no one would be able to get it. As for if I would know the person, I have to see the person's face before I can make up my mind." She considered Alex's wound and where the knife came from for a moment, then continued. "However, the throwing technique only applies if the dagger is to go straight. It's possible that this one curved and struck her."

Alex woke up, numb from the pain. "What-" She started to ask.
Mark turned back to her. "Don't worry, go back to sleep. We really need to get her more medical help." He said.

Karin checked Alex's wound again, the bleeding had slowed to an ooze. "I have some painkillers on me but I'm not sure she should take them. If we're to treat her injury properly, she has to be able to feel some pain so I can tell how bad it is especially if the knife had some unwelcome substance on it."

"We have to effectively clean it first. Meaning get her in a clean enviornment and wash her wound." Mark said looking down at Alex. "She's in really pain..."

"Aura already has decently cleaned it. We should wait until she gets back before doing anything else."

((Sorry for the delayed post >_<))
"What are you looking for?"
"The morphine," Aura answered , flipping through the cabinets to no anvil. "It's not where it usually is."
"It's gone," Elias replied after searching through cabinets on his own as well.
Aura ceased her search momentarily as well, selecting other painkillers she'd found of varying strengths. "What else do you know?"
He murmured something unintelligible but was cut off by an echos scream.
"We're discussing this later," Aura insisted, grabbing the makeshift kit of supplies she's taken from the "infirmary". "I trust you won't do anything to hurt anyone else," she snapped, glaring.
"I didn't!" he protested as they ran back.
"Here, Alex," Aura said, kneeling by her immediately. She applied a little of the makeshift morphine carefully, and then handed her a bottle of drinking water. "Ideally we could get a full analysis of the weapon, but I doubt we can...Anyone...have a next move in mind?"

Alex felt better instantly with the pain killers. She couldn't quite sit up and fight, but she could handle the pain.
Mark sighed. "SHe still needs a hospital..." 'And there's only one way to get out of here, but it's not like I can take them or her with me. I'm here to find out information on them. Make them trust me. Why did this happen? Why her?'

Once she was certain Alex was feeling better, Aura relaxed. She was tired from all this strangeness and excitement, and was consequentially in an irritable mood; she desperately wanted to lie down and sleep. But they already had Mark, a member of their tormentors, and Elias, who was somehow involved, among them.
"Well, then lead the way. If you weren't aware, the nearest hospital is in the city."
She mellowed a bit and helped Alex to the sofa. Recollecting the notepad of clues, she flipped through and added the events since the dagger's appearance.

Alyssa looked at Mark. "I'm so convinced you're telling the truth." She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. "Well a hospital's out of the question, why couldn't a docter have been invited tonight? I mean really!"

"I know basic first aid," Aura muttered quietly, resting against the sofa. "But I agree. If only a proper doctor, coincidentally with his tools, were here."

Mark gave a glance to Alyssa. "If there was a way out, do you think I'd still be here? No, I would've left, wouldn't I have?" He said harshly.
