"I agree. I can't be positive whats up, but odds are good that either the one I can see is either the bait for a trap, or some sort of emissary...either way, we have company, 'cause the ones who vanished are NOT gone..."

He warily scanned the forest, then jumped as the Cyborgs hand flowed like water, moving until it had formed a big gun, one that his sensors cheerfully reported to be some sort of plasma weapon. He raised his eyebrows at the unusual centauroid, and made a mental note to look the 'guide' over more closely with a lot more sensor equipment; Whatever 'Tech was being used, it was something the Lanteans didn't have, and unknown 'Tech always got his attention. He pulled his eyes away and continued to look around, noting that the lone blip still hadn't moved. Frowning, he wondered just what the HELL was going on.

Todd was feeling uneasy as he waited for something to happen. The anticaption was killing him as he looked over the area with his hand on his sidearm. "Breathe....breathe Todd breathe...." he thought to himself as he was trying to calm down.

"It would be best if we had taken our leave, youve attracted enough attention for today outsiders." the centarumon called out in its electronic voice before eyeing a steep slope on the side of the pathway covered with wet grass that let to the hollows of dead trees that had fallen down. "Were not too far now, I can already see the gates. Come on." It kneeled down before sliding away from sight in the shadows.

He looked both ways through his visor, letting out a sigh after becoming so tense. He lowered his cannoned arm and turned hard to run towards the fallen logs the centaur went down and took a breath and a leap. "Yee-haa!" he tumbled down and down after the digimon to the very end, making a crash against the dead trees, before speaking in the mic. "Goddammit...that's going to leave a mark."

(Lasten is in the group, not Laz....Laz is back at the crashed ships with the Repair 'bot.... and nice to see people are returning here, as well)

Lasten quirked a eyebrow up again at the others reactions, then continued to follow the Centaur, keeping his gun at hand, and his shielding system up; Vigilence was something that always payed off in the end.

"Godda-!" Laz jerked a paw back from the cloaking module as a power surge ripped through it. He shook his shocked paw, and cursed again- the module had been very badly damaged, and nothing he was trying to do was making it work. He glanced over at the tub of cleaning agents he'd found in the Chiropteras cargo hold (why it was there he wasn't sure- Neither the Chiro's computer or Kest'ak'ain could figure out why it had been loaded in their in the first place) and the armor he'd left in it. He dipped a hand into the tingling solution, and pulled out a cuirass, now sparkling and clean from the harsh chemical bath it had been soaking in. He couldn't do anything about the score and gouges in it, but at least the armor wasn't literally coated in gore and tissue.


He sighed, turning back to the armor electronics spread out ovwer the table, and wondered what else he could do; the shielding system was mostly intact, he'd only lost a few of the shielding emitters, but the stealth/cloaking module was looking more and more like a loss. He wiped his hands off on a cloth, then stood and snapped the shielding module back into the "systems" pack built into the backpiece of the armor, and initilized it. A film of energy snapped into existance over the contours of the piece he heild, and he turned it off, glad that that particular sytem was working.

Laz looked up as he heard metallic clangs on the upper hull of the Chiro, and pulled a gun, cautiously made his way outside, then looked up. He lowered the gun as the Ancient Repair robot chirped at him, busily welding a panel back on the Chiro. He glanced over at the Puddlejumper, and saw that, although it was still battered, gouged by Erinyes teeth and claws, it looked functional. A though occured as the 'bot scuttled up the side of the ship; why not get the little 'bot to fix his stealth module?

It took him a few minutes to get the things attention, but once he'd waved the damaged module in front of its optics, the mechanical repairman was more than willing to scuttle off the ship and take the damaged module from him.

Laz returned to checking the rest of his armour as the sun began to dip towards the horizon.

Dimitris nodded standing up and walking past to the gap in the ditch exmaning the symbols and lines. He could feel the cold chill from the dampness in his clothes but at the same time the warmth radiating from the prospect of rest. "These runes... what are they?" He pondered out loud taking his hand and trailing it softly along the distance as if he were righ up against the wall.

"I sure hope it is." Dimitris added now up close to the gap in the wall, his body had worn down considerably from the move through the forest. "Hey Shadow... Day is just about over, wanna take control?" "Sure I got you."A moment passed as his sihoutte disappeared and he set his glasses away in his pocket. Shadow now possessing him completely felt the glow from the wall stronger than before. "It's a bit strange but I feel like we are being watched..."
