Hiromi watched the Mizukage perform a knife technique and almost immediately he knew that the Mizukage wanted Hiromi to train as well, which to be honest, Hiromi hadn’t exactly expected. After quickly rummaging through his bag, Hiromi pulled out his knife, which he hadn’t used since he was in the Dojo last time. He watched quietly as the Mizukage finished up the technique, leaving Hiromi to perform it as well. It was a bit nerving for Hiromi to have to do the technique but he knew that he’d just need to apply himself and believe like he always did when it came to performing techniques.
After acknowledging that the Mizukage had done the technique, Hiromi pretended he parried an attack, meaning it was time for him to counter.
Hiromi dropped his knife and waited for the blade to point upwards with the hilt facing the ground. Once it was like that, he immediately kicked it upwards sending it soaring into the air. It would’ve went higher but the blade lodged itself into the throat of the dummy meaning that the technique was now complete.
Seeing as how this went quite well, Hiromi decided to push himself and learn the next technique without the help of the Mizukage, or rather his guidance to be precise. “I-I can uh, do-do this one.” Hiromi needed sunlight, but since they were inside of a dojo, he simply decided that he’d just use the light from the ceiling to properly use the technique. After acknowledging the light, he decided to use the dummy’s face as the tool to which the technique would be performed upon. He held his blade out and carefully caught the light from the ceiling on it. He the shifted his blade ever so slightly until the light was reflecting into the dumy’s face and presumably, where its eyes would be. Since that seemed easy enough, Hiromi decided to pick it up a bit and do it quickly from different angles until he was quite the practitioner at the skill. Since everyone else was doing their skills, Hiromi decided it would’ve been best if he pushed himself as well considering that everyone seemed to be trying so hard.
With two techniques down, Hiromi looked forward to what the MIzukage would try next.

Horu clapped a few times, happy that both of his students seemed to be doing so well. He decided to deal with Hiromi first, patting him on the back. "Good work, Hiromi. Seeing as you learned that last one without me, we're up to the last two techniques. The vital poke, and the two-fer-one. Both are fairly simple. With the Vital poke, you surge chakra to your finger tips so it forms a thin barrier around them. And then just like the name states, you poke your enemy. Either in the stomach, chest, arms or legs. Or really anywhere. It makes it feel like they've been stabbed by a knife. The stomach or chest are the best places to hit. And the Two-fer-one is simply learning to use the techniques you already know with two knives at the same time instead of just one." He then turned to Mizuki. "Mizuki, scale it down and come out of the gates for now. You are dismissed for the day because the gates take a toll even if you can handle them. Dropping out exhausts you. So go take a break or something alright?"

Mizuki stared at the Mizukage and nodded as he discussed releasing herself from the eight gates. She didn't think that would be a problem. Hell, nine out of ten times she was exhausted for no apparent reason. She sort of just learned to deal with it. "Dude, Mizukage, I am like totally unfazed by like, exhaustion mumbo-jumbo. Like, I totally hate being all refreshed anyways." At this time Conrad came out of his 'staring at the wall' state and decided to pitch in to the conversation. "Man, that's totally true. I totally saw her like, forget to drink coffee, and she was all 'whoa' so I was like 'whoa' but then like, she realized that she could pour herself some coffee so we were both totally like 'whoa.'" "Truer words have never been spoken Conrad... Come on, let's go to the Academy. I could totally get some inspiration for my next chapter there." Mizuki released herself from the gates and stretched before walking to the door. "My body totally did not feel that like at all, like, oh my god was I seriously in that state? Like I totally don't know like, at all but whatever. Come on Conrad, we're totally going to get some black coffee and then get some 'cereal' work done at the Academy."
Mizuki left the building along with Conrad who was right on her tail.

Hiromi watched carefully and quickly determined how he would perform the technique. Since the Mizukage didn’t actually perform but instead, told Hiromi how to do it, Hiromi knew that he’d be having a harder time mastering the said technique. He decided he’d start with the chakra in his fingers since that seemed like a painful technique that would surely leaving people cringing in pain. Hiromi focused on his free hand, trying to do his best to concentrate and make sure that he was as focused as possible before he performed this technique. It sort of reminded him of the chakra scalpel since it’d be doing internal damage, although, the technique wouldn’t be as permanent as a chakra scalpel or something of the sort.
As he focused chakra, he made sure that everything was going accordingly since one wrong move could prove to be quite disastrous. Maybe he’d end up accidentally stabbing himself. That would definitely not be good for him. After taking a moment, he walked up the testing dummy but still concentrated chakra into his hand. He wanted to make sure this technique was completely perfect since he was sort of tired of continuously making mistakes. He wanted to impress the Mizukage in a way and fighting seemed to be the only way to do that. Hiromi took aim at the testing dummy, sweat still dripping down the side of his face as he did so. He then lunged forward. Since the testing dummy couldn’t make a reaction, Hiromi simply assumed the technique was mastered successfully.
Hiromi’s next technique was more of a practice since he wouldn’t exactly be stabbing people with it. It simply allowed him to practice getting used to using two knives at once. That would be quite useful now that he thought about it. He’d never actually tried being rather unique and handling two knives, but if he could pull this off then he’d be double trouble, or something like that.
Hiromi picked up a spare kunai lying around and began practicing the technique as best as he could. Since it took a lot of concentration, he really just wanted some peace as he did so. Skillfully using two knives at once wasn’t as easy as it seemed, especially since he was mainly right-handed. However, he soon began developing his own little rhythm which really helped him get into the swing of things. He quickly swung his blades from left to right, up and down. He even did a little bit of juggling with them as a means of confirming his prowess with the weapons. Once he was done, her turned to the Mizukage and let out a sigh of relief for having completed the technique.

Horu turned back to Hiromi after Mizuki had just finished another one of her long ramblings about enlightenment and coffee and and other such things. He walked over to Hiromi and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Good work, Hiromi. You're coming along nicely. I might even be able to promote you to Chuunin without having to bother with the exams themselves if you keep proving yourself like this." He couldn't hear anyone around, using his shunkan no hagane, he would have done. It wasn't so much that he was ashamed or afraid to show affection in a public place, no, quite the opposite. He could take it. It was Hiromi he was worried about. He didn't know if Hiromi wanted anyone knowing about his sexual orientation. She he shifted on the spot a little so his back was blocking the view from the window. Leaning down a little, he kissed Hiromi, just a peck this time. "I'm proud of you~"

Hiromi blushed as the Mizukage pressed his lips against Hiromi’s. He was sort of expecting the kiss that happened in the Mizukage’s mansion to be the only time it would happen, ever. “H-Horu-kun… Th-Thank you.” Hiromi wrapped his arms around Horu and squeezed him as tight as possible before releasing and walking towards the door. “W-We sh-should d-do ah, something?” Hiromi blushed for this was probably the first time his mind had went into the gutter when he referred to ‘something’ but there was no way he’d let the Mizukage know that. In fact, it was more of a passing phase that instantly left his mind after he had said it. “H-How about you gi-give me a mission? I c-could get promoted th-that way.”

Horu turned and began to wander on out of the building behind Hiromi. This had been the first time he had actually lead the way instead of hanging back. And he actually quite liked that. It showed that he was progressing further, he wandered off behind him this time. Actually taking things at more of a strolling pace. Off in the direction of his office.

Satoshi Kuromaru Sanada  Satoshi had come from the Mizukage's office to train alone in the illusory arts of Genjutsu. He let out a sigh to himself as he took a scroll from one of the shelves and took it over to a table were he began to study the handseals and the chakra projection he would have to use to fog a person's senses. The first jutsu he decided to practice was going to be Closed Sight. The technique revolved around just narrowing a targets vision so that any allies he might have with him can strike at the flanks. The handseal was wrather simple to study and the chakra used reletively small for a jutsu in his mind and with his training. "Right... Im gonna keep this one in mind.." She was ready to try some offensive techniques, then she'd be done for the day. She didn't really have much choice, so she had to practice on some dummies in the room. She made her way over, concentrated her chakra and at once touched the dummy. It shook slightly but nothing happened. That was of course because it would only work on a human. She knew she had mastered it, and if she did ever need to use it she knew it would work. She knew how to conjour it, which was enough.
Suji dageki (Muscle Shock) :: Learnt
Since all she had to worth with were dummies, she really didn't have much choice. She probably wouldn't use the offensive techniques all that often, but she needed to learn then anyway strictly for defense purposes. So, after reading over the scroll, she concentrated chakra into her palms and after a minute, delivered a fierce, striking blow into the chest of the dummy. She knew if it was an actual person and the attack hit, it would cause their lung to collapse. Even so, her chakra was enough to leave a smoking hole in it's chest. Just to make sure, she retreated and focused her chakra around her hands once more, and then with intensity she shoved her palm against it's chest, and as expected her hand went through the flimsy material. She grinned. Time to move on.
Runge Suibou (Lung Collapse) :: Rank D :: Learnt
The next technique sounded rather interesting. Although it sounded more or less like a distractive technique, it could be rather dangerous according to the scroll. Even so, she'd learn it regardless. She took out some supplies she had gotten at the hospital, and following the instructions on the scroll, began to make the laughing gas. Once she had made it, after several minutes, she put it safely in her kunai pouch, probably only to use it when necessary.

Mizuki walked into the academy as blank faced as ever. She wanted to start with a jutsu that could go with her taijutsu techniques. She focused chakra into her hands and after a moment, came to find out that doing that gave her much more immense strength.

The next technique would allow Mizuki to focus her chakra into her legs which seemed like something cool enough for her to conquer. Mizuki released her chakra from her fist and began applying it to her legs. With this kind of power, she could drop kick some boulders if she really wanted to. It didn’t take her long before she conquered the technique and moved on to some well-known Eiseijutsu.
Eiseijutsu: Chakra no Mesu [ Chakra Scalpel ] B-Rank - 6 Posts.
Mizuki looked down at her hands, staring at them intently for a few minutes. She wanted to learn the chakra scalpel, mainly because liked the idea of ‘harming someone from the inside but not showing it on the outside.’ Yes, Mizuki was quite odd when it came to what she would consider deep and touching.
She looked over the technique after she walked to the Eiseijutsu and allowed her eyes to shake violently as she scanned over the scroll. She really couldn’t concentrate on reading so she just looked at the pictures, trying to get an idea of what to do just based off of those.
After reviewing it for a moment, she nodded to herself and turned to Conrad who was now sleeping on a table. She always thought it was adorable when he did that so she decided not to interrupt him. Instead, she focused chakra into her hands and concentrated on creating some sort of chakra scalpel. Since she was quite experienced with random hand techniques, she hand no problem making the scalpels appear. She then decided to move on to another technique.

Hiromi walked into the Academy and decided that it would simply be best to not dwell on things for the time being. It would only make him more infuriated, something he really couldn’t afford to do at this time anyways. After picking up ten suiton scrolls, all of which he intended to learn, Hiromi stepped outside so that he had plenty of space to practice the technique. He started with the Mist Decomposition. Since it seemed potent enough to destroy bodies. However, it really wasn’t a technique he’d be using unless he had to hide the remains of a body. It’d be useful if he were to go ANBU.
After memorizing the hand seals, Hiromi released a powerful mist that completely encased the area. It was so powerful, that he even had a hard time seeing in front of him. Although he was no rocket scientist, Hiromi could tell that he had mastered this technique with ease. Now it was time for the second.
_____Objective: Mizu Furiko no Jutsu (Water Pendulum Technique) A-Rank 5 Posts.
The next technique was good for anything, or so the description said anyways. By using this technique, Hiromi would be able to create a giant pendulum behind him that’s made completely of water. It would rotate slowly and cause anyone looking at it after a certain amount of time, to lose consciousness for about thirty seconds. However, thirty seconds was enough time to practically kill anyone, not that Hiromi would do such a thing.
As he read over the scroll, Hiromi made note of all the complex hand signs he would need to be performing. Just by looking at it, he could tell that it was definitely an A-Rank technique just because of how hard it would be to master completely.
Eventually though, Hiromi decided to just set to work on mastering the technique to the best of his ability since that was all he could do right now. After taking a moment to use the technique several times, Hiromi finally got it down and moved on to the next skill.
_____Objective: Mizuhada Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Body Clone Technique) A-Rank 5 Posts.
The next technique would be something Hiromi was much more familiar with which was creating a clone made completely of water. Well, he wasn’t used to clones made of water, but he was used to making clones which was the main point of saying that. This technique was also useful because it didn’t involve having a large body of water or something of the sort. Plus, it had all the capabilities of the original creator which, in Hiromi’s mind, was quite wonderful to say the least. Hiromi didn’t let his mind get too bothered by all the problems of what was going on though. He had to focus on pull off another successful technique so he could prove he was a threat to anyone who tried to cross him. Well, he probably would be a pushover if they were nice, but still.
Hiromi performed the technique with little difficulty and immediately moved on to the next technique on his list of Suiton.
_____Objective: Mizu Funkei (Water Decapitation) A-Rank 5 Posts.
The next technique was quite powerful since it could practically remove someone’s limb if it landed a hit on them. However since it was rather small, that was sort of unlikely. Hiromi would no doubt be using this technique in the future though since it proved to have some useful abilities to it. It was just basically a powerful stream of water but if it could slice a limb off, Hiromi really didn’t care what it was made of, just as long as it got the job done.
He started by opening the scroll with the technique inside of it. He memorized the hand signs as quickly as possible. He could tell he was on some sort of rhythm since this was all coming so easily to him. Once he finished with the hand signs, he moved on to actually performing the technique. Although he wasn’t sure how it would turn out, he had plenty of confidence in himself and he managed to launch the water. Once he was done with that he moved on.
_____Objective: Suitenhoufutsu (Sky and Water Convergence) A-Rank 5 Posts.
The next technique was quite useful since it wouldn’t involve creating water out of thin air, in fact, it granted Hiromi to pull water from the ground and use ground-water as a weapon of sorts. If he would’ve gotten the water summoning, then maybe he could even use them for it. He was still slightly torn between the Aquatic animals and the canines, though truthfully he was leaning more towards the canines simply because they were adorable. As he finished up memorizing the hand signs like he normally did for these techniques, Hiromi began to concentrate on the ground. It was such an odd thing, focusing on the ground, mainly because he usually only did that when he was practicing Doton. He didn’t actually think he’d be doing that for Suiton as well but surely enough he was. After a few minutes, water began coming forth from it meaning that this technique was a success.
_____Objective: Takitsubo no Jutsu (Waterfall Basin Technique) A-Rank 5 Posts.
The next technique would be useful for Hiromi if he wanted to create a gigantic amount of water. Since there seemed to be no other use for this technique besides creating a waterfall with the help of a Doton, Hiromi really needed to figure out when this would be practical on its own. Well, he decided that since he knew water manipulation, maybe he could transform the water into something useful, but for now he’d need to learn the technique.
Hiromi picked up the scroll and began to memorize hand signs. It wasn’t too hard since he was already skilled at these sorts of things. Once he was done with that, he moved on to the actual performing of the technique. He wasn’t any new guy when it came to this kind of thing, in fact, Hiromi had really become quite the expert at Suiton if he was allowed to say so himself. He easily created a massive amount of water making this technique complete.
_____Objective: Water Release: Tentacle Barrage Fury (Suiton: Shokushu Rendan Kyouran) C-Rank 1 Post.
The next technique was only a C-Rank so Hiromi easily conquered the hand-signs. He then walked over to the lake and created the hand signs before watching as eight tentacles made of water shot up from within. He then released them and condemned the technique as complete.
_____Objective: Mizu Tate no Jutsu (Water Shield Technique) D-Rank 1 Post.
The next technique was even simpler so Hiromi had no trouble memorizing the hand signs and creating a simple shield around Hiromi. However, since it was only D-Rank and made of water, Hiromi intended to only use it for the spikes it could create to stab people, so in the end, this defense would become quite offensive.
_____Objective: Goshokuzame (Five Sharks Eating) B-Rank 2 Posts.
The next technique was going to be quite useful if someone was trapped underwater. Hiromi would send five sharks out of his fingers that would presumably do things sharks did best to people they wanted to attack. Since the technique was only B-Rank and Hiromi had come a long way, this challenge proved to not be difficult at all to learn. Once Hiromi was done, he moved on to the next technique.
_____Objective: Suiton: Suishuu Gorugon (Water Release: Strong Current Torrential Rain) A-Rank 5 Posts.
The next technique would be quite simple, or so Hiromi though. It was A-Rank but if he focused much more intently than normal, then he’d be able to perform the technique with no problem at all. He started by reading over the technique. It would allow him to create a mass of water that would turn into a biting serpent and attack the enemy. Since it didn’t involve a main source of water, there would be no problem.
Hiromi ripped open the scroll and instantly began memorizing hand signs, trying to make sense of everything that he was reading. It seemed like a simple enough technique, but then again, things always had a way of confusing him just when he thought he had it figured out. After memorizing the hand signs, Hiromi moved on to performing the technique. He created several hand signs and watched as the water turned into a dragon and launched itself at a tree. With all the techniques done, Hiromi walked back inside to grab some more.

Horu walked into the area, keeping back he watched as Hiromi trained from some distance so he wouldn't be spotted. He watched and pondered what it was he could have done do annoy him so badly. Was it because he had got a summoning contract and Hiromi had not? That was probably at least a part of it, but that alone couldn't induce the kind of actions that he had been showing off since they had left the summoning temple. He started walking over there to him, taking his time so he didn't seem to be intruding. He had his hands held up a little so he wouldn't seem to be threatening either. He only spoke once he was in ear shot. "Look. I don't know what I did to put you off me. But...I'm sorry, alright? Could you at least tell me what I did wrong?" His voice for once sounded honestly sincere, instead of being somewhat emotionless like normal.

_____Objective: Talk to Mizukage.
Hiromi blushed as the Mizukage entered the Academy. After all that training, he’d really managed to calm himself down. “N-No, it’s just… I uh, well…” Hiromi stopped mid-sentence as he tried to recall what had happened. Sure, he never went over it with the Mizukage in any spoken terms, but Hiromi had really wanted to conjure a summoning contract that was the same as the Mizukage’s. He was even hoping that the both of them would be able to have the Canine pact, but the moment that Horu signed with the wolves, all hopes of that were shattered. “F-Forgive me…” Hiromi bowed to the Mizukage, realizing that it’d probably be best if he didn’t get so attached any longer. “I-I’m just tr-training now.” Hiromi allowed his gaze to roam away from the Mizukage and look at a bookshelf. It was something he hadn’t done in a while, looking away from the Mizukage that is. He was almost hoping he’d notice so that Horu knew where he stood with Hiromi at this point.

Horu placed his hands on his hips. "Forgive you? For what exactly? Shouldn't it be me apologizing to you?" He placed a hand over his face and sighed softly. Looking back down and him through his fingers. "I sould have discussed it with you before training, I know. It would have been great to share something like that. But I just...I dunno. They say you gravitate towards the kind of summoning that is closest to you. And the wolves share a great many similarities with me, Hiromi-kun. I will make this up to you. I don't like seeing you mad or upset. Because I like you a lot. I might even say that I...Love you." He turned his head away. Never having said that before. "Please don't be mad at me?" He said, a slight hint of sadness in his voice at that point.

Hiromi felt his face flush a dark scarlet hue, much darker then it’d ever been before. He also felt a sharp jolt course though his body when Horu mentioned loving Hiromi. It was at this time that Hiromi realized the error of his ways. This one mistake shouldn’t be the end of something so unique and magical. Hiromi needed Horu just like Horu needed Hiromi. If he were to throw that all away over something as trivial as a summoning, then Hiromi really was a much more cold-hearted person then he’d always imagined. “N-No!” Hiromi pressed his finger gently onto Horu’s lips. He didn’t want Horu to be the first one to say he loved at all. “I-I’m not mad a-at y-you!” Hiromi could feel himself growing a bit light-headed in anticipation for what he was about to say next. It needed to be done though, he wanted to tell Hory just exactly as he felt. “I-I… uh, um, hmm.” Hiromi knew he loved Horu, probably more than he actually should at this point in time but having the courage to say it was different matter entirely.
Hiromi fumbled with the words, still with his finger pressed against Horu’s soft lips. “I-I I love you!” Hiromi slowly went numb, allowing his finger to fall downwards from the Mizukage’s face. “Y-Yeah. I guess,” Hiromi’s voice faded at this point, “I love you.”
Hiromi didn’t know what to do now. He was beginning to have a weird urge, one he’d never had before, one that actually forced him to sit down at one of the desks to avoid having this certain urge noticed. He played it quite casually, or so he thought. He darted to a desk and threw himself in it as quickly as possible. He then turned to the Mizukage and nervously laughed.
