She laughed a little.
"nope. she always shoos us away or just leaves while yelling at us." she said giggling.
"... i mean i knew there was a reason she was like that..." she poked the man beside her
"and with the way she reacted when seeing you im guessing your the reason."
she looked sadly at the grave in front of them
"...Conner would have been a help with this kinda stuff.." she said going into a slight trance

She snapped out of it
"huh?" she looked at him then came back to her senses.
"sorry." she said sheepishly playing with her tail.
" i kinda get lost in memories." she said quickly then she sighed.
"its really hardd to imagine Smokey as being a vulenerable person...but i guess everyone has a weak spot right?" she said

Emily looked at him and the sadness coming off from him made her sad too.

She bit her lip really wanting to know what had happened but didnt ask.

"Dont be sad..." she said looking at him clutching his heart.
"shes still here right? within your reach." she said looking at the grave then to him
" She still loves you too." she said her ears flattening against her head.
" she's just confused... but if she is hurting over you too then there's gotta be some feeling for you still."
she looked up at him.
" dont let her slip through your fingers or it will hurt the both of you again."
she hugged her knees.

"Okay okay. She keeps her feelings to herself. She calls people names because it entertains her..She called me Amber on the first day. Sometimes I got promoted and she called me by my real name. Kiri. I was so happy on that day. I saw her blush like she never blushed before. She was so cute when she blushed. She was embarrassed too."

He grinned at the thought of it.
