Kaze stayed quiet after the first girl came, and said something as soon as she left. "Tsuchikage." Kaze said, sort of excited....Sort of. "We shoul--" Kaze stopped in the middle of what he was saying, because there was a knock on the door. "You seem to be very popular, Tsuchikage." Kaze said, looking toward the door. Of course, he wasn't going to answer it.

"Don’t worry….My friends will take you down while I nap!"

Aihi stepped aside as the man obviously a higher ranking shinobi walked by and entered the Tsuchikage's domain. She remained outside respectfully but couldn't help but spy. She performed the Horse, Hare, and Tiger hand-seals in that particular order. "Byakugan!" she said quietly as her veins became prominent from her temples towards her eyes and visibility through the wall was confirmed. "Hmm I cant wait to start studying maybe he''ll be my teacher once I become a genin." she listens intently as she hears about the murder as watches as he places the items on the ground. "hmm since he found no metal shards I would assume whomever was murder met there maker at the hands of a Katon user." She covered her mouth quickly hoping she wasnt heard. curse my analytical ways she thought to herself keeping quiet she then deactivated her Byakugan and sat incredibly still terrified she'd get in trouble.

[[not that I know of I read the rules of the Byakugan and it doesnt state anything. but sharingan does ^^]]

Shinji was a bit surprised with the way the Tsuchikage seemed to acknowledge, but then almost brush off his report. he watched as he took note of her filling out the paperwork, but furrowed his brow in confusion as she made no comment to the death of a village member under strange circumstances. Casting a confused look towards his sensei, Shinji shrugged in his mind, but then figured that perhaps it was not information she wished to discuss with him with so many others in the office, or with him at all. What was important however was that he would receive credit for both the C and D-rank mission, which would easily qualify him for the exams.

Bowing politely, Shinji concluded his report and was ready to leave for a few last minute preprations... "Thank You Tsuchikage-sama... I look forward to representing our village well in the exams. I promise I will not fail." With that, he turned, nodding to his sensei as he began to walk out, but suddenly felt a very familiar, but surprising feeling rush through him. The pain which agonizingly coursed through his body at all times suddenly felt a strange tinge of relief, which was jarring at first, but more then welcome. The pain itself was still there, tearing through his body, but even to feel the slightest bit of relief was like a wave of euphoria. More then that however, it signaled to Shinji that there was another Konaga somewhere nearby, which instinctively excited him and drew him towards the other source. 'Another Konaga?... what strange fortune, I wonder what they are doing here."

Having stopped suddenly before exiting the office, Shinji quickly moved away, carrying himself out of the office and down the stairs quickly, exiting the building as he ignored all else but finding the source. Looking around, he didn't see anyone at first, but instinctively began to walk in the direction of his feelings as if being tugged by some invisible string.

"Talk is cheap, Let's Do This!"

Though excited at the prospect of running into another Konaga in the village, Shinji's search was tempered as he walked slowly around the Tsuchikage's Office, scanning the area for a familiar presence, all the while his feet walking in the direction his instincts carried him. As he was just about to turn the corner, he sudden felt a large thump directly agaisnt his chest as a young girl about his age bumped into him hard, causing him to have to drop his leg back behind him to stabilize himself and not fall down. looking confused for a second, Shinji expected a flaring of his chakra at the sudden unexpected impact, but felt only a cooling wave as he immediately looked down to see who had hit him.

Looking at the young girl, it was like only she was clear in the midst of nothing but haziness around. of course, everything was still visible, but she was more real and present then everything else by comparison. "Wow, this is so great. Another Konaga, and a girl to boot!" Shinji was about to start laughing at the funny interplay of the situation, but was suddenly caught off guard as the girl looked up to him and said his name. Completely surprised, Shinji narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at the girl, taking in everything he could about her, but not being able to precisely place her.

During his journey, he had run into and spoken with many Konaga on his journey to find his sword, Forza, but it didn't mean he remembered them all. She seemed to young to be any one of the key Konaga who had revealed clues to him and helped him locate the smiths, but that didn't mean that he had never run into her before... it's possible that he simply did not take note of her at the time. Shaking his head as he seemed to have lost himself in thought, realizing that he was staring at the poor girl on the ground. Bending forward slightly, extending his hand down to her in order to help her up, Shinji's arms were still uncovered as he had draped his bloodied outer garment over behind him as it hanged loosely off of Forza's foot long handle. "Well, I'm definitely Shinji... but you'll have to forgive me, I don't quite remember who you are. It's a great pleasure to see another from the clan in Iwa though!"

As Shinji locked wrists with Riko to help pull her up, he was pleasantly reminded of how nice it was to be able to actually feel the touch of another in a real way, the way only another Konaga could supply. Listening to her story, the pieces started to fall together in his mind as she spoke, the images of her father, the encounter in the forest, and eventually those of him speaking to her about the villages and his experiences in the academy. Now that he remembered it, her father had actually been a crucial piece of the puzzle, having directed him to a remote outpost in Sand where he knew of another Konaga who had spoken of the story in passing.

Smiling as the memories flooded back to him, was glad to hear that the girl before him had decided to become a ninja, and as it turned out, he was the cause in a way. "Oh, that's right... Riko. I remember you now. You were younger then, so I guess it's hard to recognize you, you've grown up since then... gotten more lovely as women tend to do. Your father was a great help to me in tracking down Forza here. I was searching for him for 2 years after that, but your father led me on the path to a series of others in a long string of travels."

"But you guessed right... I'm a Genin of the Iwagakure, though I soon hope to take the Chuunin Exams and pass. It's all moving so fast, it feels like a whirlwind in my head.... but that might just be our pesky chakra." Shinji kind of smiled strangely and rubbed the back of his head, not quite meaning to reveal his current state of mind, but not minding so much considering that she was already part of a larger family to him... "It's great to hear that you've joined the Academy though! I'm sure you'll be a Genin in no time! it'll be wonderful to have another Konaga around. I had kind of resigned to the fact that I would not see another, excepting perhaps my parents for a long time while I trained here, but you are a great breath of fresh air to have run into! So what are you doing? Did you just arrive? Are you having any trouble finding your way around the village yet?"
