Mit sat Violet down next to quiet, but polite General of the Wearwynn navy. He took the seat on the other side of her Wrynn next to him.
The General nodded his head to Violet as the servants placed bowls of soup in front of them. "You are Lady Violetta? Si?"

"Violet," she corrected him, gently. She looked at the soup in front of her and lifted her soup to try it. "I don't believe I know your name."

"Admiral Roberto Cofresí y Ramírez de Arellano," The man said touching his brow, in navel greeting, "I am King Judus's second in command of the navy... Perdón for my confusion..." He picked up his spoon, dipping the entire thing into his soup, while others only placed the tip in, "I am from further south... A name such as yours is pronounced... differently..."
The woman on the other side of the admiral grimaced at his manners, and turned away.
Ambersky sat next to Tora, trying to politely eat the leg of the stag that had been carved free for him, while the center of the stag was served to Tora, onions and all.

"Roberto, if you wish," He said nodding. He spooned a large bit of soup into his mouth, getting some in his beard, "You are la hada? Fae? But different thin Senior Mitica... Si?"

"I don't understand what you mean by 'la hada'," Violet replied. She wasn't being rude or impertinent, but she was being straight forward.

Roberto smiled mischievously, "Then perhaps you will not mind if I stop all dis bowing and scrapping? It is unlike a proud sailor..."
The woman on his other side snorted, at his words.
Ambersky carefully watched the main tables, tilting his head to the side at the sight of who Violet was talking to.

"I would not mind in the slight," Violet replied. "But I suppose there are others who would." She glanced towards the woman on his other side.

"Do not mind her..." Roberto waved a hand at the woman his manner becoming much more relaxed as he slumped forward talking with her, "Few Senoritas are ever happy to be placed next to a merodeador. But," He turned to smile at the woman, "I am proud of what I am..."
The woman looked aghast, as Roberto kissed the air at her.
He turned back and chuckled at Violet, "I suppose that is why I was placed next to you Senorita..." He took her hand and kissed it most lovingly, "And I always enjoy be seated next to such a lovely Senorita..."
