Imiti shook his head when the two combatants appeared to recognize the point that he was making and then promptly proceed to ignore it. And he'd thought Ethfael had a functional brain, too, after the Albertson stuff. Ah well, where else could he contribute...

The two Gyarados charged at each other again, sending forth blue fire. This time, though, rather than targeting where Celsus was, Magnus fired his attack at where Celsus had been dodging. In his sudden rush to get away from the brunt of the blast, Celsus threw Oliver off his back. Immediately realizing this, the gold Gyarados disengaged, executed a dive, and managed to catch Oliver with an foot left of ground remaining before Celsus would have collided with the Poliwhirl rather than catching him. Seeing Solaris and his situation up ahead, and realizing that he wasn't much use in a high speed aerial battle, Oliver made a couple of quick calculations, hopped off Celsus's back, and slammed into Selena feet-first at a respectable speed.

Chuck soon joined him, rushing at Selena from behind and with a flurry of flaming claw strikes.

Imiti turned his attention again to the dark blue Gyarados, now taking the opportunity while it was in the middle of turning to send in its direction a stream of snow followed by a fireball. Then, as Magnus's attention turned to him, he teleported out of immediate sight.

Magnus: 27 HP

(-3 or -4 Selena, depending on whether a Gyarados-velocity tackle/body slam/thing qualifies as a critical hit)

AlouraLavicus

Lavicus nodded to the small pokemon who'd thanked him in acknowledgment, though his eyes never left the rampardos. He was monitoring the pokemon carefully, waiting for the perfect time to strike. The opportunity was not far off: As the large thing swept it's tail about, knocking over the black vulpix but harming neither himself or Aloura, he readied himself. As expected, the fox pokemon retaliated, unsettling the rampardos's balance for a moment. Taking advantage of it's temporary disablement, he flashed forward to sink his fangs into the pokemon, using poison fang a second time. He could feel his body growing lethargic in it's movements as the temperature dropped, but he figured he had a few more good attacks in him. And if he could managed to poison the dinosaur he felt certain it would be an easy kill.

Aloura, too, could feel it growing cold. Rather than make her uncomfortable, however, it seemed to give her energy. The climate was nearing the normal temperature of her home in the mountains, relaxing her slightly even in the midsts of the battle. Thus reassured, she jumped forward to bite the rampardos a split second after Lavicus attacked. Naive as she was to type differences, she hadn't the slightest idea that dark type was super effective on ghost type. She only knew that that the gray shadow of a pokemon shuddered pitifully as her teeth sank through its tough hide. I don't know why that occurred, she though as she released her grip on the pokemon and backed away again to brace for a retaliation, But I'm assuming it was to a positive effect

As she darted back, she suddenly realized that the pokemon they were attacking hadn't said a word since they'd joined the fray. While she couldn't hear the conversations of the other pokemon, it appeared as if they were at least exchanging comments in passing. She frowned for a moment and looked at the rampardos quizzically. Perhaps it was simply a pokemon of few words? Not that it mattered at the moment, or at all really. What mattered was eliminating it.

(( -3 Rickshaw. Your call on whether or not he's poisoned.))

Nadia snarled at the ghost, revealing her sharp jaws as she did so. Her common-sense raced back to her mind as she speaks. "If you were my father, you would've protected me! Not the other way around you fool!" She spatted. It made her hurt a little but she have to keep saying to herself that the thing in front of her is not her dead father but merely a ghost. Her neon rings circling around her feet and her tail glowed and shimmered furiously under the light. The wind flew past her again, the coldness made her body tingle. She flattened her body, claws unsheathing to make her look prepared to attack whatever. Her tail wavered behind her as she launched herself at the Mightyena only to drip down into the color of darkness when she was close to pounce on him. Her body dissolved fast as lightning as she turned to a shadow. As stealthy as a ninja hiding in the shadows, which is what she is doing now except more literal, she lurked her way to behind him. She waited for the perfect moment to strike, she just had to be patient.

Alfonso winced as the younger Mightyena dissolved. He turned his head to every direction, keeping alert to where she might have been hiding. But with his own shadow turning against him to hide her better, it was hard to spot her because she was a shadow herself. He then suddenly got hit by a force that sent him flying over a few feet. He landed with his front legs suppressing his body from falling any further then followed by his back legs. He could've landed roughly if he didn't know how feline Pokemon gracefully land with their feet. He shifted around to see Nadia reforming back to herself from being a shadow. He smirked, a little proud of himself of able to take hit from a Dark-type move like the Shadow Sneak she just did to him because even though he was in a Mightyena form, Ghost-type type advantages and disadvantages will still occur to him. He was aware that he would be hit by more Dark-type moves which was obvious because his opponent is a Dark-type, but no matter, he was ready for anything.

She took a moment to regain her breath before lunged at him for real this time and opened her slender snout. She bared her jaws fully and took a bite at the ghost's flesh if he does have one. She ended up on biting his neck. She could taste solitude from her teeth but she doesn't know about flesh. She deepen her bite by pushing her teeth to sunk down to the Mightyena's skin. His gray-black fur of that's a normal Mightyena's ruffled about on her snout. She twitched her bright light green nose as the fur tickled it a bit.

He yelped and flailed in pain as a reaction. He clenched his teeth while trying his best to look at her biting his neck. He shot a claw out and clawed at the one who's biting his neck. He kept clawing at her until she released her jaws against his neck. He could hear the vermilion color dripping down from his neck. Wait, does ghosts even have blood? Who cares about that, he was bleeding alright. He turned his gaze away from his bloody neck and sharply glanced at the Mightyena glaring at him. He narrowed his eyes by slightly as a growl formed in his throat. He pounced on the girl. His sharp edged claws thrashed everywhere as she and he rolled around in the dirt. He managed to leave a bright red scar on her chest in their efforts to slaughter each other. "Your no match for me! I will end your life here and now!" Alfonso exclaimed at her as he pinned her down. Here goes the pinning down thing again.

She winced and quickly stepped back as she found herself being clawed by Alfonso. She noticed a few blood drips sticking to her teeth. She licked them off. The taste of blood was still tasty to her even though she doesn't eat Pokemon much anymore. She will stay a carnivore forever and nothing will change that. She then barreled as he suddenly jumped on her. In the end, she just got pinned down. "Not if I end yours first!" She exclaimed, trying to wiggle out of his grip. Every flock of her fur bristled in fury. Her tail was also wiggling along the tempo of her legs. Fear struck her as she saw the way the ghost's expression turned all twisted and sinister. This couldn't be good.

Solaris -- Javs -- Ver

Ver and Solaris looked back at Era quickly and smiled in unison. The sound of footsteps caught the Flareon’s attention, forcing him to duck down instinctively whereas Solaris just stood there and had a Jolteon soar over Ver before tackling the Espeon to the ground again. Javs couldn’t bear to watch anymore.
After a series of aimless tumbles and kicks, Solaris made his way free again with Jupiter close behind. As the large Espeon stepped back, Ver stepped in the way, blowing the Jolteon back with another Searing Shot before following up with a Quick Attack. Solaris gave an exhausted sigh. He was such a punching bag—it was tiring.
He watched his father get tossed about by the Flareon, unable to get a moment to stand so instead flailed about in a series of sparks. It hurt, that held true, but Ver refused to budge. He himself channeled electricity so he had a tolerance though low.
Selena on the other hand just managed to start recovering; her body overheated and burned and her fur giving off static as she wobbled, finally taking a look around. Everything was clear now, but the Umbreon didn’t have time to evade Oliver.
Her stagger from the hit just made her an open target for Chuck in turn, but Selena had enough control to turn on the Charmeleon and snap at him with her fangs. All else seemed to be ignored as rage took over and the Umbreon’s body jogged forward in her assault in case the Fire Type were to move back.
Solaris finally took a breath and released another Psybeam at Jupiter as Ver was tossed aside. The Jolteon stalled from Solaris’ attack, leaving him an open target for Ver’s Volt Charge rebound, tossing Jupiter off to the side again. The Electric type landed on his paws and released a Discharge that cut paths in the ground in all directions, making Ver and Solaris bound off, though both were struck.
Selena and Javs’ barrier took the hit as well, making the Gardevoir flinch for the first time yet.

Singel Uluat

❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺

Uluat was looking around and finally caught eye of someone he recognized. A Pikachu with wings.....that was Era! He remembered her from the Courtyard near the Palace of Eclipse. He quickly got Singel's attention. "Hey Singe! There, that Pikachu over there, isn't that Era?" Singel focused his gaze and nodded. "Yeah that is her, and she looks like she's in pretty bad shape. Come on lets go!" he yelled to his partner.

They both arrived quickly and checked to see how she was. Singel then looked out to the battlefield. The Dragonair and Eevee looked to be fighting it out with themselves and then the Espeon he remembered following out here was in the middle of a pretty good fight as well. "Era, let Uluat know what is going on with the Dragonair and Eevee. I'm gonna help out Solaris!" He yelled as he began running towards Solaris in an effort to assist, in whatever way he could.

Chuck jumped sideways to partially avoid Selena's bite attack, creating a static aerial flame at the same time for her to run into. Teeth tore at his side even as the fire burned his opponent and he staggered, tripped, and fell, but at this point Oliver was behind the Umbreon, slashing with both knives. Chuck rolled away from Selena, sending some more static flames into the air in order to ward Selena off while he got to his feet.

Imiti sent another fireball in Magnus's general direction to hold his attention. It worked; Magnus turned back to where the attack had come from and saw Imiti there, in the middle of throwing yet another fireball. Magnus charged, ignoring the second blast; Imiti moved only his gaze. When Magnus had covered half the distance Celsus slammed into his father from the side, again in the midst of his own blue fire; electricity flared half a second later as the gold Gyarados bit into hard scale plate. The force of the impact sent Magnus out of a stable flight; the elder dragon recovered in midair and came back around to strike at Celsus, who had plenty of time to dodge to the side, come around, and begin pursuing Magnus, who at the same time started turning to strike again at Celsus in such a way that the two gave the impression of a creature chasing its own tail.

Era & Ethfael & Riley

The Leafeon gasped in pain, eyes widening as her scruff was viciously torn apart by the raging Umbreon. She fell back as she was pinned to the ground by Deca and listened to the ramblings of the maddened creature as she regained her composure. The Dark Type pressed down hard on her throat, but that was where the problem lay for Deca: ghosts don't breathe. She laughed delightedly, the sound coming out more as a cough considering the position she was in. "Well now, that's more like it!" the Leafeon rasped, a chilling smile on her face that matched Deca's own with its border on insanity. "How's this then?" she asked, a wicked gleam in her eyes. The Leafeon went unnaturally still closing her eyes against the pain. They snapped open again, glowing slightly as they met Deca's. From the ground erupted a group of four thorn covered vines, each one wrapping about the four paws of the Umbreon. As Deca was stretched apart, the Leafeon slipped out from beneath her, standing to watch with amusement as she was pulled just tightly enough that she wasn't entirely torn apart. With that, she grinned at Deca, "Had enough yet?" she asked, "Because I'm not even started yet!" The thorn covered vines suddenly fell to the ground, dropping Deca. After a moment the ground burst open, a full fledged tree coming out of the ground and sending Deca flying back. the Leafeon laughed maliciously, watching the goings on with entertainment.

Riley raced out of the way of Ethfael's tail, running as fast as he possibly could to avoid the Dragonair's tail. He'd achieved what he wanted, Ethfael was furious, but it was still up in the air as to where his plan would work. Here, there, everywhere he ran; trying to tie the dragon up in knots. It worked relatively well, at the very least he got the Dragonair more confused and agitated than ever. The magician Eevee was at his best, but it wasn't good enough to keep him from Ethfael's grasp. The Dragonair finally got the best of him, trapping Riley within his coils. The Eevee looked back and forth for an escape route, but there was no way out, he was trapped.

Ethfael's eyes lit up with triumph as he tightened his body into a coil, holding the Eevee fast in a Wrap. Riley squirmed, trying to escape, but it was to no avail; the Dragonair was not about to let go of him now. "Riley, what are you doing?" he asked the Eevee softly, looking into Riley's hollow eyes and trying one last time to salvage the light from them. "Wake up. You're still one of us, don't let that Leafeon trick you."

The Eevee fell silent and still, his eyes hidden by the brim of his top hat, and Ethfael waited for a response. They waited frozen in that position for a long time, until at last Riley spoke, not lifting his head. "She is not 'that Leafeon,'" he whispered, voice quivering with rage, "She is my mother!" He sent a Trump Card that he'd held concealed flying, and it cut across Ethfael's face leaving an angry mark. The Ace of Hearts responsible flew past, shattering into pieces as Riley glared at his captor without fear. "So kill me," he said, "At least then I'll be able to wake up, to go back to what's real. And if killing me in a Nightmare actually kills me, well then see if I care. I'll never let you rest for what you've done to me, I'll haunt you to the end of your days!"

Ethfael glared at Riley in anger, blood trickling down the side of his face from the Trump Card that had been used against him. This was too much, he wasn't going to tolerate it any longer. Clenching his tail around Riley he began to squeeze, harder and harder to choke the air out of the Eevee. There was no other way.

Era smiled tentatively back at Solaris and Ver, lending her own energy to their attacks as they resumed attacking Jupiter. She took note of Oliver and Chuck's arrival, practically on top of Selena and so turned her eyes on Jupiter instead. She was about to head forward when a familiar Charmander and Gligar showed up. She heard Singel's words and her heart fell, unable to bear to think about Ethfael and Riley at the moment. She simply had to trust that they would work it out between themselves. She couldn't hope to interfere, and neither could she ask someone else to do so in her stead. It briefly crossed Era's mind as to how they could possibly have known about their relation to her, but she disregarded it; maybe they just saw them come in together. "Uluat, we have to help the others," she said, drawing attention away from the fighting duo who were breaking her own heart, "That Umbreon, Selena, she's being a nuisance. Help Oliver and Chuck out will you?" Era didn't expect the Gligar to know their names, but seeing as she mentioned the Umbreon she hoped he could figure it out.

The Pikachu nodded to Uluat and then hurried off in the direction of Jupiter, charging her own electricity as she came. The resulting effect was Era's entrance back into the fight coming out with a bang as she barreled into Jupiter as quickly as she could with a Volt Tackle, hoping to offset the ghost Jolteon a bit. She was about to leap back and avoid a counter attack when she spotted Ethfael and Riley in the distance and caught sight of her co-captain trying to strangle the life out of the Eevee. Era's heart missed a beat and she was left, for the moment completely defenseless as she stared in horror, praying that things didn't come to worst.

( Red & Blue & Purple )

Red watched as her hypnotized Purple puppet began to move towards Charles. That wasn't a good sign, that meant he could slip out of her control any second now...she thought of the possibilities as she tightened her leash on him. Her eyes gave of the same Red glow the Rattata had, "Sucker Punch!" she called out, as she left Purple to do the rest.

Blue clapped his paws together as he made yet another shadow ball, "guy has some guts..." he muttered under his breath.

Charles got up, shooting a deathly glare at Red. "You! Give him his mind back!" He shouted at her. He opened his mouth, a purple liquid coming out and landing all over Red, some of it turning into gas that she breathed in and some of it staying liquid and hurting her before disappearing. She coughed, the gas was all taken in by her and she had now become terribly poisoned. She felt like throwing up, and she herself looked sick. She fell to her knees at the sudden pain, but instead of giving up from there she continued to fight. Opening her own mouth, she let out a flamethrower at him before putting her head down on the ground with a groan.

Blue was outraged, and Purple was starting to show signs of slipping from her control. Blues fur stood up on its ends as he narrowed his eyes, he was really quite pissed. "I'll beat you to a pulp" he growled, throwing a high speed Shadow Ball at the Rattata as Purples Sucker Punch hit him at the same time, causing the Rattata to also be knocked back

Saileithe -- Erudeca -- Freya -- Alice

Sai ducked down beside Epitaph as the barrier was struck. She quickly looked back out at the fight in alarm before looking up at the barrier over her. It still stood strong, as if it recovered from the hits it took instead of wore down. It was rather relieving. The Glaceon scooted over by her mother’s side as her eyes locked onto the fight outside the barrier once more. She felt useless. Very useless, but this beat dying.
Deca continued to stare down at the Leafeon, smirking victoriously. Her expression weakened slightly and her ears rose at her sudden comment and the next thing she knew, the Leafeon was still… Everything went silent and dead for a moment as Deca entered confusion. Next thing she knew, she was bound and the panicked Umbreon went into a struggling fit until it hurt too much to move. Two of her legs dislocated. She was dropped in shock, unable to make one of her snappy, nonsensical comments back at the Leafeon.
Deca, in the end did still attempt to get up, only one of her two front legs being of any use anymore. She slowly glared up at Espen for but a fraction of a second before the ground split open and the Umbreon’s expression turned grave. Even she knew when to get out of the way, but it was too late for that and she couldn’t do anything about it anyway so she took the hit. With a final deep breath, the Umbreon released a Guillotine at Espen in only hope.
The Umbreon's insides shattered instantly upon impact as bone met with organs and everything went black instantly.
She didn’t even feel it happen.
Her body merely flew back into the floral barrier behind her and fell to the floor. She reverted to her Ditto-like form instantly as she touched the ground. She was unconscious, but barely. It was safe to assume she only survived since the bone required structures she took weren’t real.
A loud crack interrupted the fight only seconds after, leaving another Leafeon to go bounding at Espen in fury the moment her paws hit the ground. A pink Ralts stood behind the other newcomer, smiling as she took the Ditto in her arms and teleported again without a word, though this time over to Riley and Ethfael. There was hardly any time to waste, and both females looked well aware of that.
“Ethy!” Her small voice called out in panic as she teleported, clasping onto the Dragonair’s tail. She'd never met him personally, but both of them were here long enough. You knew names passively after a while have it be by team, or just seeing them every single time the alarm was struck. Deca humorously sat unconscious on the top of her head, but that was merely because if she didn’t hold on to the giant dragon, she’d fall. Disregarding her situation entirely, she stared at Ethfael wide eyed in fear. It wasn’t right. Her oddly familiar finned hair loosely dangled below her curled body as she began to struggle on top of Ethfael’s slim tail.
“You have to stop, you’ll kill him…” Alice’s voice trembled as she finally sat on the dragon’s tail and held Deca in her arms. She knew well that was Ethfael’s intention, but saying it aloud was generally more mind jogging than letting it stand where is. “Please stop. I’m sure we can fix this. We won’t get anything out of it this way—what about Era?” Alice’s words were quick, as if trying to find the right thing to say out of a number of choices. She was in fact overall unsure about any of the choice of words. She was silent for a moment.
“D-Deca fell for it too.” It was obvious why, but it wasn’t like Ethfael ever met the crazy Ditto to know what she was like. “It’s expected, I assure you.” Her purple mixed eyes glistened slightly. Her panic wasn’t too clear, she tried keeping as stern an expression as possible, but her eyes clearly said otherwise. She was scared for Riley.

Raziel - Sarge - Izzy

"C'mon! Not much more to go! He's starting to fade!"
And it was true, the specter of Raziel's father was indeed starting to whither.
Not before rampaging at all of the Pokemon attacking it with a Headbutt for each, though.
Izzy and Sarge both managed to jump away, but Raziel had other plans.
He met his father's Headbutt with one of his own.
There was a loud clang, and Raziel fell over, totally knocked out.
"... Uh oh," Izzy meeped out.
She shook her head swiftly and let loose another Razor Leaf at the slightly groggy Rampardos.
A pissed of Sarge followed up with Payback.
The Vulpix then curled around poor Izzy to protect her from the cold.
She was beginning to shiver up a storm herself.

Singel Uluat

❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺❖✺

Uluat nodded to Era as he began soaring towards the Charmeleon and Poliwhirl that Era mentioned. He hoped that they weren't too beat up from Selena that he would have to do a majority of the work. He didn't like the idea of having to do too much in the fight. "Hey! Guys! Move real quick, I gotta get this just right!" Uluat yelled to the two of them as he began a straight dive bomb for Selena, and once he got close enough, he quickly made it so his tail would hit her, and he quickly stuck her with a Poison Sting, hoping the venom would start affecting her.

Singel began charging at the Jolteon ghost that he had seen and hoped to get a quick hit in and end the overall fight quickly. The cold was beginning to affect his movement, he was becoming stiff and needed the place to warm up and soon. He sidestepped the Discharge, seeing that the ghost wasn't really aiming for him and he quickly shot out a Flamethrower, hoping to at least put the Jolteon in an opportunity for the rest of them to strike. Lucky for him, it appeared to him the Jolteon, but not enough to make any burns. Then again, being a ghost, Singel wasn't sure if it would burn at all. "What is going on here? Why all the ghosts all of a sudden?" He asked himself in a whisper as he looked to Uluat and Era, hoping they were all okay. "Whatever we uncovered isn't worth it in my eyes." He said in a whisper once again as he looked towards the Espeon, Solaris, seeing what his next move would be.

Solaris -- Javs -- Ver

Jupiter and Selena took hit upon hit in mild annoyance. The angered Jolteon glared at the gathering crowd and released another Discharge over the area as he regained his bearings. Selena merely got punched about before kicking Uluat away with her hind legs, then tackled Chuck to the ground in a Feint Attack before bounding elsewhere.
Ver and Solaris stood next to one another idly, watching the group gather. It was going by far easier now.
Javs remained by Epitaph as always. Something was off though. Something was happening, but it wasn’t clear yet. His ears slowly motioned downward in mild confusion before standing high. The steady beeping that her heart once flowed by grew fast. It was too fast and it made him uneasy. Beeps began to overlap and the unconscious Flareon took a deep breath.
The Gardevoir grinded his teeth in annoyance as he glared down at her. Not now. “Epitaph’s in vfib.” He said simply, raising a hand to the side of his head. There honestly wasn’t anything he could do.
Solaris blinked and looked over as Ver went after Selena. Javs didn’t look half as easy as he did last time. “If you don’t end this soon, she’ll die.” “W-What…?” His expression darkened. The Espeon shuddered as he looked over at the relic carrier and Selena crept up behind him upon throwing Ver off to the side. He yelled out to Solaris in warning as he quickly dragged himself to his paws.
Solaris turned enraged, glaring his sister down before thrashing at her with his tail, pouncing on her, and tearing the Umbreon’s throat open.
“Hurry up! We’re running out of time!” He yelled out into the open, tail high behind him as the Selena's ghost below him vanished out of existence and he bounded off after the carrier. The Froslass made eye contact with him for a moment and smiled.
Javs watched him in silence. Idiot. The Espeon was teleported within his barrier, though Solaris crashed into the side before clawing at it with his front paws. “What are you-?!” “Are you trying to die?” “But…” “The ghosts. Focus on them.”

AlouraLavicus

Aloura's eyes widened as the infuriated rampardos charged at her. She'd known that being in a battle meant that she would be attacked but knowing and experiencing were two totally different things. Truthfully, she'd never actually been in a true fight before. Play fights, yes, training sessions, yes but never a fight where the opponent had the intent to kill. Living in the mountains with no pokemon to threaten your well being had its disadvantages once you stepped into the real world.

Consequently acting on only frantic instinct and the little experience she'd gained in the elder's forced training sessions, she darted swiftly to one side. The room she'd given herself to allow for dodging gave her enough space to avoid the blow. Mostly. As the huge pokemon charged past, one of the sharp spines on it's head scraped painfully down her side, leaving a crimson streak on her light fur. It wasn't deep, but it stung.

Wincing, she could only watch as the pokemon attacked the three guild members she didn't know. She could only observe in dismay as the much smaller cranidos attempted to counter headbutt with headbutt, knocking himself out in the process. Thankfully, the other two pokemon had managed to jump out of the way, but the rampardos wasn't finished. It charged one final time at it's fifth opponent- Lavicus. Lavicus had swift reflexes and even swifter movements from his years as a dancer, but the cold slowed his body tremendously as it all but froze his cold blood. The seviper had hardly the time to turn sideways before the bone hard head of the bulky rampardos stuck him squarely in the middle of his long body. There was a sickening crunch on the impact, causing the entire serpents body to quiver. His eyes clouded over, conscious, but barely. The freezing temperatures did nothing to help.

"Lavicus! Aloura cried out, alarmed. She'd only just met the pokemon, but they were still a team. Quickly, she summoned small shards of ice from the frigid air and sent them at the pokemon with a furious gust of icy wind. It was a technique her father had taught her- a move he'd often used to amaze the small absol with is magic like properties of summoning something from nothing. She didn't think she'd ever need to use it to attack someone.

While the wind distracted the large pokemon, the absol sprinted to the other side of the pokemon to stand in front of her partner. His eyes were starting to clear from the pain, but the harsh weather took away their sheen with a shade of lethargy. He would most likely not be attacking again unless the atmosphere warmed. Even then, the broken ribs he'd most likely sustained would limit his attacks. There was absolutely no way Aloura was going to let her partner get attacked again. The great oaf of a thing would have to go through her first.

With Selena down, Oliver turned to other targets. Specifically, his gaze turned skyward, where Celsus appeared to have taken a blast of blue flame with his face. Celsus flinched, a bad idea in midair, and barely managed to land on something nonvital. The fact that Magnus was coming at him with intent to finish the duel meant that Oliver chose this moment to fire a cloud of bubbles in front of Magnus's face in order to obscure vision. A crackcrack told him that Imiti had responded to the situation as well, bringing Celsus to safety at least until he could get into an upright position.

Chuck, having stood up at this point, looked over at Oliver, who now had Magnus's full attention, and closed the distance, throwing a small fireball as he did so. Flames gathered around him seemingly out of thin air as he leaped toward the Gyarados, hitting him shoulder-first in midair. There was an explosion, and Chuck fell to the ground below, somewhat scorched but in rather better condition than after the last time he'd tried using that particular move combination.

Era & Ethfael & Riley

The Leafeon cackled with terrible delight as Deca fell back, leaping deftly to the side of the blade that flew past her, clearly having been intended to seperate her head from her body. There was hardly time to savor the victory though, as another Leafeon was Teleported in to her makeshift arena and bolted towards her, clearly furious. "Oh I'm sorry," she said to Freya, smile widening, "Was she a friend of yours?" The Leafeon jumped forward to meet her next opponent in a Quick Attack, tensing in preparation for the response. The ghost was filled with a sadistic lust for blood, that currently couldn't have enough. "I hope you're as fun to fight as she was!" the Leafeon said with a grin, taunting the other Eeveelution to fight back.

Ethfael was thrown off his guard from the instant Alice grabbed onto him, eyes shifting to her as he still clenched the Eevee tightly. He didn't know the Ralts, yet she was calling him by a nickname; he was almost ashamed for responding to it. Yet even though he'd never met her, she looked familiar, but he couldn't place where he'd seen it. It was her hair, the way it fell was just like... Ethfael's eyes narrowed slightly as she mentioned killing Riley, his tail tightening again so that the Eevee, who for the moment had been able to get a few breaths, was once again constricted. "Don't think that I'm not trying to!" Ethfael said darkly, "He's gone too far." The Dragonair glanced up at the still bleeding mark on his head that was now beginning to throb slightly, "Maybe if he'd take back what he's done."

The Eevee squirmed to free himself, still staring up at Ethfael with those hollow, deadened eyes. "Not on your life," he managed to rasp out, despite the pressure that was threatening to crush him looking defiant despite his inability to feel anything. Riley didn't even look at Alice, his mind wouldn't remember her currently even if he did. The Eevee was beyond everything there right now, he didn't care whether he lived or died.

Ethfael angrily turned his gaze again on Riley, readying his muscles to squeeze when suddenly Alice's voice stopped him. What about Era? In spite of himself those words rung in his ears like nothing else could. The Pikachu would never forgive herself if Riley died, even if he was insane, even if the Eevee had tried to kill him. The Dragonair gave one last long look at Riley, and despite of every part of him screaming to finish the Normal Type, Ethfael let him go, allowing Riley to fall relatively gently to the ground. The Eevee lay there, gasping for air, and Ethfael's eyes turned on Alice who was still perched on his tail. "I hope you're happy."

Era's eyes widened and she fell to the ground in pain at the Discharge. Normally it wouldn't effect the Pikachu so much but she'd been thoroughly unprepared and the attack was at such close range that it hurt far more than normal. After hearing Solaris' warning that they were running out of time though, Era was up on her feet again. Since the Jolteon still hadn't moved, Era took advantage of her close position to Slam into the Jolteon, hopefully offsetting him a bit. She added a Thunderpunch while she was at it, before leaping back to hopefully keep from being hit too badly. She glanced back at Solaris and the Gardevoir talking quickly after the Espeon had defeated his sister. Her eyes showed a tinge of concern for them as she desperately blocked the thoughts from her mind. No, she couldn't get distracted, Ethfael wasn't going to kill Riley, he wouldn't. She took a deep breath and channeled her energy into a Helping Hand again for those in the group.
