'Do I not belong here? Why can't you answer? Why am I here? Did you call me here?' The soul was confused, curious, it asked the questions in a child like innocence, although it had no voice you could just immagine it.

Riddle nodded, holding out his hand to his shelf and calling his tools to him. They levitated over and Riddle started to work on cutting the gem in half.

'Watch the ear please.' The flickering and dying glow said haughtily as the crack finally allowed it seep out and then free itself across and out of the room, the gem iced over and froze.

Riddle watched as the soul escaped, placing the gem in a small basket on his desk. He'd try to repair it later, once he had advanced enough with Earth Magic.

Downstairs, the only thing that had surprised Kitty about Takato and Autumn was that they were asleep together on the couch. Autumn's head had been resting on Takato's shoulder, both of them falling asleep in due time. Kitty smiled a little bit. Now this is what true love looks like.... She went over to her daughter and kissed her on the forehead.
"Good-bye my little one.... I shall come back here to see you in due time... Please, don't forget me."
With that said, Kitty walked over to the door, opening it quietly, and leaving the house, closing the door behind her.

Riddle flicked his ears up, hearing Kitty's words. But a small blue fox with angelic wings jumped on the bed, smiling.
"Don't even start Chiro. I know this is all my fault...and it all started with Zan's death."

About 10 minutes later or so, Autumn began to stir. She slowly opened her honey-colored eyes, looking around the room. As she began to turn her head, she saw a few strands of blue hair fall down to her eye level. Her eyes gazed upwards, seeing Takato's face above hers.

Takato's eyes slowly opened. He looked around, then sat up.
"I fell asleep?"
Riddle picked up Chiro and started stroking him. It helped soothe him a little, despite everything going on. The small fox let Riddle stroke his silky fur, because he knew his master needed it.
