Hermes sped to the war tent and immediately was leapt upon by the happy hounds before he could enter. One of the dogs had laid a stick at Hermes' feet and all of them started to whine as if pleading for more fun and games. Gladly throwing the stick, Hermes walked into the group, and seeing the little 'faun' exclaimed,
"Wow. Poor kid looks almost like Pan did when he was little. Which one's the mother?" he gestured to the present mortal women. The green haired one was pretty- almost like a nymph. He smiled to the green-haired mortal.

Delilah wrestled against the soldier with her free arm. The man had a long steel dagger and wore kohl rimmed eyes against his tanned skin. About to jerk away and make a run for it, Delilah froze as the man coldly placed the dagger near her neck. He spoke with the remnants of a foreign accent, not too obvious as to immediately distinguish the soldier as a foreigner. "If you want to live, do as I say, woman." The man's head was uncomfortably close to her face and Delilah could smell the dried sweat on his forehead. "Where is the King's tent?" Delilah answered quietly, "I don't know- I'm not from here." The man had pressed the dagger lightly into her neck making Delilah feel the sting of the metal on her cheek. Wincing, Delilah remained quiet. There was a sudden commotion inside a nearby tent and the man hissed, "If you move one muscle, then I swear to Tiamat, you will die.

"Must've been a 'Baaad' day for him." Hermes joked. On hearing no laughs at his exceptionally bad joke, Hermes suddenly stood a little taller and reached for a pouch by his side, "It's for you, Artemis." He handed the scroll to her.

Jasmine looked over at the faun. "Well, he can talk...to an extent...kind of like a parrot, you know? He's learning to walk, too." The arrival of another god was not really suprising, after all. They'd met the war god, the hunting goddess, and the god of volcanoes. Unless this was the god of death, she doubted he'd be very scary, what with the goat humor and all.

"Goat jokes. Lovely." Athena said sarcastically, looking at the new arrival. "Ooh, a scroll. Let's it hope it's not a 'love letter' from one of the minor gods." She looked over to Hermes. "Everything calm? Zeus not throwing a fit, Hades walking Cerberus, no huge wars?"

Artemis glanced at Athena. " I hope it's not another love letter. Those are annoying and then I have to keep Apollo from trying to kill the god who sent it. He's easygoing about anything except someone having a crush on me then he gets over protective when I can take care of myself."

Artemis sighed. " I should have known. I better get back to Olympus and make sure he doesn't scare this maid off. I'll be back in a few minutes with my drunken twin in tow. Will you keep an eye on my hounds until I get back Hermes?"

Artemis grinned wickedly. " Yes wait till he's sober because you know how bad of a reaction he'll have and it's always more fun watching the reaction that he might miss his festival when he's sober because as much of an idiot as my twin can be when he's drunk most of his reactions are better when he's got a hangover but otherwise sober."

Athena nodded to Artemis. "I swear, Apollo is looking a lot like Dionysus these days with the whole 'drunkeness' thing." Bubo flew back in through a window, landing near the faun and hooting, content. Rolling her eyes, Athena turned back to the two. "Yes, wait until he's sober. Hopefully Zeus won't get too drunk, either."

Jasmine tapped her chin as she looked at the faun. "Probably get mad at us, try desperately to change the faun's name, and cause fun times for all. Let's see, what can we name you...hmmm..." Jasmine's eyes lit up. "His first word, maybe? What was it...Pickle?"
