The clone clapped three times and grinned.
"You're well on your way to being a well rounded kunoichi in your element. So far, you have two attacks and an escape. Time for a defensive move." It paused, trying to decide which one to use for her. Then it grinned and nodded to itself.
The clone ran through a chain of seals slowly, letting Kageko memorize their sequence. Then it brought up one hand and held it vertical, palm facing her. In the area in front of the clone's hand, wind began swirling in place, soon coalescing into a disc shape that, with a second of concentration from the clone, shrank in size to what the girl would be able to manage.
"The Bouseki Tate no Kaze. Defensive technique, very useful at higher levels. OH, the last one was the Kamaitachi jutsu." It blinked, remembering that it had forgotten to tell her the jutsu's name.
"Anyway, gather wind chakra and shape it into a disc in front of you. The wind should be spinning in place."

Vincente looked at the scroll. "Now all I need is a good weapon style and I'll be set!" He said, opening it. He felt pretty out of touch since the only genin jutsu he knew was ember clone. "That'll never help me, unless I want to set my sister on fire...hey sis!" Vincente called.

Hmm. Brother and sister, fire and wind. Odd, most families tend to have more similar affinities. And I would have thought that it was she who would wield Fire... ah well. Means I can train her myself. Or rather, that Boss can train her. Gah, being a clone is confusing. The clone shook its head slightly before looking at Kageko.
"Well done Kageko-san. Now, I want you to get practice in using those techniques."

Vincente looked at the first of the three techniques on the scroll. He read it to himself to see how it worked.

"Katon: Hoteri Ougigata no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flash Fan Technique)
Description: A fairly simple jutsu, the user breaths in a fair amount of air while performing the necessary handseals and breaths it out in a short funnel of flame. Literally lasting only a few seconds, it explodes out of the mouth in a v-like wave and is a commonly used technique amongst shinobi who like to build into their attacks. The range of this flame, however, is about 3m and the flame itself isn’t held long enough to deal any real damage. Therefore, it isn’t necessarily a viable offensive option as compared to other jutsus, but it does serve its purposes since only three handseals are needed to perform this technique. Hmm..." He said, looking more carefully.

Vincente preformed the handsigns, then breathed into the air, probably too hard because he started coughing. "Ugh, nasty, I was sure that was going to work." He said, shaking his head at the failure.[1/3] Vincente tried again. Three hands signs, some chakra, it leads up to the jutsu so I must have this right... He thought, getting a small burst, not even easy to see. "I guess that was a another failure." He said, getting ready to rty one more time. "Hey sis, look this way!" He said, using the jutsu in her direction, it passed right by her in it's strange V shaped direction. "That is a katon jutsu, and you'll notice I'm not on fire like you were."[3/3]

((The wind just has to be of at least one higher rank to counter fire jutsu, except for the Phoenix Fire technique. But yah, he spat fire at you, so your equal ranked wind shield just made his fire stronger.))

Vincente raised an eyebrow sceptically. "I know what your thinking, sure, let's do it." He said, noticing she was making a plan. "But let's just say I don't know what your thinking, so what are you thinking?" He asked.

"It's likely so it's something to consider." He said, thinking about it. "But I doubt we'd ever get a good chance to use it together since we're not even on the same squad." He said, remembering his lack of a team. "Do you want to try that?"
