Next time, you have to think about these things...you both could have seriously been hurt...and if I don't wake up, usually, that means I don't want to wake up. Now, let's go see Uncle Emnast...and be glad I'm not yer Daddy.

If you were my kids, you'd have been spanked, but....*He stops*...no...I shouldn't be lecturing you like that...Ari, Mari...what you did earlier was very foolhardy...and you could have been seriously hurt. But I won't be the one you need to apologize to...that's your daddy, after we eat breakfast with Uncle Emnast.

The two cubs think on this as they follow him up to the dragon's cave, getting more and more miserable with each passing minute. By the time they reach the entrance, if there has ever been a more repentant, hang dogged pair of cubs, Kero isn't so sure he has ever seen them.
Then as they go in side, Ari rubs up against him. "Uncwel Kewo, did I huwrt Mommy?"

She finally relaxes and gives him a tiny smile. "I waf scawed, too." she says softly twining about his feet, half tripping him as he walks. It's a blatant plea for comfort.

Mara trots over and puts a paw on his leg. "Ish Ari ok?" she begs worriedly.

Yes, Mara...Ari is just fine....and she'll be even better, once we get some breakfast in her...
*Takes them inside, seething...twice now, he has threatened them with spankings...twice they acted as if they knew what it meant...he may be a proponent of it, but not on these two little cubs...he finds himself growing angrier by the moment...and swears he will get to the bottom of this*

Mara runs inside ahead of them crying out. "Em... Em... Ari fawl 'n go boom."
Em comes stomping out to meet them with a worried expression. "What happened?" he demands to know reaching for the cub in Kero's arms.
He is followed in turn by Passura, who is wiping sleep from his eyes.

**I did...but Kero is one who would jump to conclusions in those he is protective of...so, yeah....besides, he's not going to do anything about it...just seethe and maybe give a small rant at Bez/Em about it**

Passura nods sleepily. "Uhum... sure did... Em and I played this odd card game then he let me sleep on the platform in the pool room... it was fun." He looks hard at the cubs and smiles wryly. "How far did they get?" he asks with a chuckle. Then looking around he frowns. "Where's Bez?"
Em is examining the small white lion with a fine tooth comb, making her giggle as he does so.
"I fiwne... I fiwne..." she insists as he pokes and probes.
